What I love about YukaF movements is, it is necessary for the situation. Not flashy but necessary.
True, most MNK players are like braindead. They usually do movement that puts them in terrible positions then cry if they get punished for being dumb by controller players.
Then there's MNK players that over do movement to the point they miss more shots.
In another word, no wasted movements. Just like the NBA don't play like 'the professor' if you know what I mean.

Imagine a future where they nerf aim assist just enough to make MnK viable in competitive and the best players in the world work towards the kind of skills as this guy. We're going to have some truly epic anime-like fights.
MNK is viable in ALGS.
They'll need to add tap strafing on controller and aim asist probably should be nerfed by 10% or so.
Also people won't work towards these mechanics because what ultimately leads to winning isn't being flashy. It's matters way more making high IQ plays.
@@thesix4176nothing Yukaf did there was flashy. It only looks flashy to controller players. The tap strafe left to close the door(avoided taking damage). Wall bounce tap strafe backwards(faster than just turning backwards). Fatigue jump for PK shots(avoids taking damage while creating good shooting angles). I could literally explain why everything he did there was necessary and not flashy

THIS is what I wish we coule be watching during ALGS. More mechanical skills less roller one-clips.
This dude is on another planet. He's the greatest to ever do it, and he has the trophy case to back it up. He's won everything.
It's soo hard not to do movement only but to actually hit your shots while doing movement

Ping gives you a crazy advantage though. If someone tries to run behind cover, you can still see them for 150 extra ms. It’s annoying to fight
@@Neon1880 nonsense. You also get shot when you are behind cover for same delay. But on high ping you can't win any contest e.g. the enemy will always pick up the item in a 50/50 off drop. There's no advantage its just annoying for both teams fighting, and u at disadvantage sometimes too
If I was C9 I would also leave the contest after watching Yuka do that

I still remember that first clip of Yuka that popped off, of him 1v3ing TSM on Olympus right? or did he 1v3 a diff team and I remember Hal reacting to it? Either way I've had huge respect for Yuka since that day!! Incredible player.
That was Crylix I'm assuming. I guess the most popular YukaF clip is the one where he's doing that wallbounce at The Tree's centre but theres def other notable clips
That's was Crylix, first eliminating TSM then NRG, if I'm remembering correctly.
I can only wish they just decide to hold separate ALGS tournaments for the two inputs. An all-MNK tourna would be fire, and they can just switch inputs if they wanna compete in the other. And more teams from all over the world get to play.

Finally someone in ALGS that utilizes movement. holy shit it's half the game and NA is like Sweetdreams. Sit and shoot and rely 98% of your game on positioning and aim. Which is great, but the skill ceiling for movement is higher than the skill ceiling for aiming, because the abilities you can do in this game with authentic legal mouse and key inputs are not predictable, and highly effective. Especially since nobody in the NA ALGS ever has to fight people like faide, xylas, or treeree, since nobody in NA moves more than a wall bounce. Or a super rare super glide.

No its a testament to how good and consistent Hal is. And Volt is one of the easier smgs to control as well.
@@GerryLo5198 No its aim assist. Controller would have 0% presence in a serious competitive fps environment if controller didn't present a clear advantage. It's just the worse input device and nothing that bridges that gap (with he notable exception of gyro controls, which imo aren't utilised enough) actually requires player skill, it just hands them an advantage

Aim assist rn is definitely unfair. But I think most controller pros can't do what hal does. Hal's is way too skilled.
Now that my eyes have been opened to just a few of the rising mnk talents I can't imagine how people would react. Yuka is good, but man there are some even more mind blowing players out there... Unfortunately the future of mnk looks bleak so we that might never happen

MNK players 100% have a better chance to track movement if controller doesn't have aim asist. So yes controller has aim asist because MNK is the superior input.

I think that YukaF’s mechanics and game sense superior to most NA players. However, I do think he does need to tone it down one notch because NA players are way better than the APAC players that he normally can just style on with no consequences.
His mechanics and fighting ability r top tier. The teams macro and decision making has been their downfall at previous lan. Fnatic has a new roster this year tho so we’ll see how they perform

Jokes aside it's not that he looks there at all that's suspicious it's that it looks like his aim stutters to where the guy is and then back a few times very quickly; as though he locked onto him through the wall but was pulling his mouse away (an "aimbot artifact" that can occur when you press an aim-key so that your aim sticks to someone behind a wall while you're aiming somewhere else). Your aim will be "trying" to pull away to where your mouse actually is aiming to while the aim-bot pulls it to the players position. This can look like a stutter back and forth as your crosshair bounces back and forth quickly between two different inputs.
