Ford C700 Car Hauler Project First Look

My first time seeing the C700 I bought at an online auction sight unseen to turn into a classic car hauler. This truck is massive and is going to be a major project. But let me know what you think we would do with it.
The air was thick in Alvin, Texas down south of Houston, but the truck made its way from Northern Nebraska to Apex Auto Works where we will get started on it's transformation shortly. But should we keep the chassis and just swap the drivetrain or should we do an entire chassis swap?

Put the cab on a modern chassis so you'll actually enjoy driving it on the highway 😅

I honestly feel like you should leave the original drivetrain five speed with overdrive drop a Mercedes M606 diesel with a 7.5 mm injection pump with a compound turbo set up maybe just update the differential gear ratio
