Hi! Make sure you look up car seats and winter coats!! Little ones shouldn’t wear snow gear/winter coats in their car seats because it actually prohibits the car seat straps from being tightened like they’re supposed to! Not mom shaming at all, just helping inform because I didn’t know until I became a mom!!! Love watching all Your videos and I’m so excited for you!!
Yes! Beautifully said. We care about you and baby boy safety and since you haven’t had a newborn before you may not know. Your discharge nurses should do some education on car seats as well
Yes, great advise! I was going to say the same thing. No thick winter clothes in the car seat, better to bring a cozy blanket to put over him after he’s safely buckled into his car seat.
I’m not sure if you want to bring them or not, but with breastfeeding, a lot of people recommend bringing nursing pillow and breast pump :) so excited for you and your family ☺️
Only 7 months into marriage with no intention on having kids for at least another year, but still enjoyed this video along with the other getting ready for baby ones 🙌🏼 So excited for you guys! Sending you all the good vibes and prayers to my home state ❤️
Snacks for when your cluster feeding! Your husband needs snacks, yes, but the breastfeeding hunger is unreal! You might consider the always boutique adult diapers. That’s were amazing.
If you want to wear the nightgown after giving birth since it’s true they will be down there checking everything 😳 definitely don’t try to wear it during birth. Birth is messy. And as silly as it may seem, look into adult diapers. I didn’t have them with first but I got them with my second they were a game changer! Also, be as extra as you want!! This is YOUR baby and YOUR birth experience. I’ll be praying for you! Labor is intense but I loved it!
I would recommend a house coat I lived in mine I didn’t get dressed until we had to leave!😂I gave birth in February so mine was pretty heavy and it was wonderful to sleep in and hangout in🤍praying for you and baby you got this mama!!❤️❤️
I brought my own cozy blanket and I was SO happy I did. A nursing pillow helped so much while I was learning how to breastfeed! And girl take all the shower/self care things! You’ll be so happy you did!❤️
God is always with you my love!!!!!! So happy your better. Can't wait you have your baby so beautifully!!!!! I love your energy is so much in the light of God!!!!!!! Send you a gift for your baby.
First off, where did you get that cute crew neck because I NEED it! Second, some must haves I brought for myself & baby for my first L&D: my own pillow/blanket for myself & hubby (makes a huge difference for both of you feeling comfortable & hospitals can be really cold!), nursing pillow, snacks for hubby & myself post labor & during (for him), activities to keep me calm like an adult coloring book, headphones & my iPad/laptop for movies & extra long phone chargers. For baby I brought mittens because they love to scratch their little eyes and faces, a couple pairs of socks, a cozy blanket for photos & to just snuggle, pacifiers. What I wish I would have brought: a portable sound machine, slippers, the baby book to have the nurses do footprints for me because they didn’t on the birth certificate, more than one button down night gown/pajamas because it’s really easy to accidentally get them dirty during your postpartum pad changes, and adult diapers! The mesh undies are fine but they are pretty flimsy and I kept having to ask for replacements because the adhesive on the pads would make them rip apart.
You can eat during labor unless you get pitocin and an epidural then they give you clear liquids. I made sure to eat a big meal before the hospital. I got induced. The Frida mesh underwear are the best and the squirt bottle also. I personally liked them better than the hospital one. I took a night light(vava from Amazon) and a book and my AirPods. If you wanna use a pacifier bring a pacifier for baby, ones you wanna use and my pump so they can measure the proper flange size.
Lotion yes absolutely (with cocoa butter is great too because helps if your skin cracks as well as for stretch marks) Deodorant A disposable razor just in case for the arm pits Nursing pillow Easy tops for nursing A house coat! Great for being cold as well as for nursing
Not to tell you what to do it’s your baby boy. You should boil all the bottles, binkys and pumping attachments. You should bring a nursing pillow, game changer. I do recommend if you are planning on breastfeeding bring a nursing tank tops that are easy to pull down.
Just want to say everything is so cute! I do want to tell you, the little body suit outfit that you are bringing for the ride home is not safe to wear in a car seat! Especially if it is too big on him! 💕
Congratulations to you and your family I haven't seen someone beautiful glowing gorgeous when you what brand of diapers are you going to use Pampers or huggies or luvs wish you and your family happilys
Super excited for yall! My birthday is actually the 16th of december and my moms is the 23rd of december so im very curious to see when baby boy is actually born 🤗 will def be keeping u guys in my prayers for a safe delivery and super happy for yall! Glad yall are recovering from covid also 🙏
Great idea to bring multiple sizes! Saiki was a big boy and so were his sisters. The outfits I brought for the girls were too small and I didn’t bring a backup so I had to squeeze them in!😂

Do you think you can link the diaper bag please, I’m on the hunt and I really love yours!
Hard candy as your mouth may be dry from nursing. I preferred lemon drops. God Bless

Definitely pick up a cheap pack of 10 ft long chargers!!! The outlets are sooo far away it drove me crazy
Saw your video went to look for the bag I found the last one 😭 it’s so cute but it does attract a lot of lint
definitely recommend bringing a nursing and nursing pillow!! 🤍
Please research carseat safety especially on coats in seats❤ also if you guys don't like diet pops make sure to pack some drinks for you guys
Wish you and your family all the best🥰
