We need more guys like Josh Emmett in the sport. Total killers, respectable demeanor, well spoken and honest. There are too many Covington clown-show types running around in this business and it's just an embarrassment to this great sport.

You've got to give it to Emmett. Fought 3 times this year and 2/3 of them contained some nasty damage to Josh where, unlike the Yair fight, the Topuria fight was almost totally one sided. He showed championship heart and determination to finish up the year strong while having risked his spot to fight a lower, hungry contender like Bryce (who deserves a world of respect as well for stepping up on short notice to give Emmett the chance to fight).

Who btw, changed Bryce Mitchell's career forever, Josh literally put Bryce into twitch mode, every fight takes something from you, but there's no coming back from twitch mode. Same goes for anyone that's been brutally ko'd like this, an example would be Stipe who has yet to return from Francis which was way back in 2021...
