Kutumakutu Suparidana is my favourite Nepali song...when I was in Kalimpong I heard this song everywhere and after coming back home in Kolkata, I became a fan of this song ❤
wai wai used to be really hard to find in South India when i was small. only one far away shop used to stock it and it was a ritual for me and my dad to go to that shop on every other Sunday to stock up. thankfully now it's widely available 😊

I’m not a Nepali but my hometown is Kalimpong and I have lived there all my childhood. We get all of this and more there, made me wanna go back home😢.. not a great fan of the titaura but Wai Wai and batare is life. And like tenzing I also prefer the salty batare😅. They are pretty spicy and very tasty😋

I have tried titora, used to love it back in my hostel days. Hostel friends from Kurseong and Darjeeling used to bring titora. The salty and spicy ones were the best.

Hog plum is native to Nepal. A few centuries back it was only eaten in Nepal but you can find it on Bhutan as well.
