So Abigail was always the Nether Princess who somehow ended up in the Overworld. She liked life there with Rain, till her death. In which Naeus revived her and told her past. Abigail decided to take the throne to be herself as well as absorbing the nether star, leaving behind the past.

I can see Abigail remembers Rain; however, she wants to move on when she sings, "The past is just ashes in the wind. Rebirth. Begin and begin again," which highlights that the Nether Princess, Abigail, wants to focus on the future. The video also illustrates how demonized and warped Abigail has become because of the ties within the Nether realm by her slaughtering creatures and humans. On the contrary, she is still has humanity left. It is unveiled in "We Are the Danger," where she stares at her old lover, Rain, while he seems to remember her from the tragedy. It takes a moment for her to attack him. Furthermore, in "Just So You Know," you see the Nether Princess in the Over-world looking up to the sky meanwhile a portal opens up for her. Then, it fades into an old picture of her in Rain's base while he feels heartbroken that his lover turned to a monster. Since she is dehumanized and is now warped by the Netherrealm's power, Rain had no other choice to end her violently. I really love the music series and always go back to season one. :)

I honestly don't like "just so you know". Not criticizing, but I just don't like sad/slow songs, But "begin again" is AWESOME!
I like to think that this really showed Abigail’s prior innocence. The overworld and Rain made her soft, truly lost in terms of the throne. As she was pushed down, her horns had fallen off. I like to think that they were fake prop horns, like she was trying to pretend she was something she wasn’t. But as she was pushed to getting the throne, the Nether consumed her.
Pretty cool stuff.

To be really honest, I can relate to the Nether Princess.
She wanted to prove herself worthy to become the princess but it leads her to the road of evil. I wanted to prove my classmates wrong about me that I can do so much more than just sitting there in the corner of the class like some statue in display. Unfortunately, it led me to having a tight full schedule and no time to spend with my family.
Sometimes it is worth it, but sometimes it is not worth it.

My name is Abigail
I've came up with a rather twisted theory regarding this song- and the series in general.
In the beginning of the video, we saw dreadlord call the girl
(Who's name is Abigail by the way)
"Princess."
However, she doesn't seem surprised at all to be addressed using that title.
Anyone else would have replied
"I'm a princess?"
But not her.
And seeing as how the pig king is the one ruling the nether,
That would make Abigail the pig king's daughter.
But WAIT a minute.
Abigail looks absolutely NOTHING like the pig king!
Not to mention the pig king is, well, a pigman,
While Abigail is CLEARLY human.
Furthermore, there are no humans among the pig king's horde!
HMM.....
My theory is this:
Abigail isn't the nether princess.
Not really.
She's just another human like Rain was.
However, during the final battle of "the struggle",
Dreadlord sensed the hidden power inside Abigail:
The power of fire,
Which could only be unlocked via the nether star.
And when he sees the humans ride off carrying Rain,
He knows it's only a matter of time before they unlock Rain's hidden power.
And the only way to counter it is with a being who has power equal and opposite to his.
But how do you get a human to join an army consisting entirely of monsters?
The answer, in the case, is simple:
Make her believe that she is a monster herself.
Still with me? Good, because I'm not done yet.
The lyrics of the song seem kinda sketchy.
While it could be explained away by saying that Abigail- I'm sorry, the princess-
Is singing about how the old her is gone, replaced by someone entirely different,
I don't think that's entirely the case.
I think the lyrics are those of a dark ritual,
Which dreadlord used to brainwash Abigail into believing that she's been the pig king's daughter,
And she never realized it until now.
So, that's my theory.

One word: nostalgia
Oh my God! Griping story full of emotional songs, a tearjerker just grabs your heart rips it right out of your chest. This is an incredible series had my attention from the start, with it's beautiful animation, smooth editing, gorgeous songs, compelling characters that have strong emotional bonds , great voice overs, and of course a Forbidden Love. I can't stop coming back to this series just listen to The Amazing Music and I hope that you don't stop doing what you've put your blood, sweat, and tears into, because you're really good at it! But I do have to request, that one of these days if you are running out of ideas for songs hit me up because I write songs for a living. Keep up the good work on this incredible series and let me know if you need any help. Thank you for reading my rant and have a good day
