In term of accuracy, all calibre wings F-14 windshield is much more correct , it is embedded into the body (the radome) . The HM (and Century wings) windshield is just windshield placed onto the radome. And HM F-14 nose is big (just like the Academy model Plastic kit) . BUT Calibre wings F-14B shown in this video has glove vane but in reality F-14B has glove vane closed and you hardly notice it. If you are looking into accurate F-14 diecast , there is none..
I noticed that too and this is problably the reason why Calibre ones are the expensived ones ,i Wish i was informed about that before i ordered my HM F-14 2 years ago
Nice comparison ... I buy HM only as a rule as I'm happy with their models. I notice in this video the Caliber Wings aircraft undercarriage is sitting at an angle on both sides ...
I'm wondering what parts are made of plastic. I've got a Hobby Master with plastic: munitions, drop tanks, landing bay doors, nose spike and canopy. What about the two F-14s ? Are any parts of the wings plastic, like the sweeping portion ?

I got a calibre wings F-16D and everything was kidna loose and the missiles and drop tanks would fall off with the slightest tap and the shipping took forever

Why are the vertical stabilizers grey and not black on the ones I'm seeing on ebay? The calibre I'm looking at rn have black skull and crossbones on grey vertical.
I would go for caliber wings but their never in stock with any of the squadrons I actually want, so I’m willing to sacrifice some details for the sake of not having to wait 5 months or pay way too much for it on EBay.

I start out with dragon model back in 2004..... they rocks and they the best back in the day....... also..... but compare to Calibre wings ...... you just cannot compare.....i love calibre wings and i love my dragons too.....😍😍😍😍
