On the inside of the house behind the stairs… when you fix the doggy door … frame it like an entrance to a dog house. Plenty of videos on it. Maybe put Arlo a couch and small flat screen TV in there for him. 😃👍

We had such a good time! Thank y’all for putting this together! I know from my sister, my cousin and myself, we dropped a decent amount $$ on plants. 🤗👒 And we are definitely planning on making this an annual event. Only suggestion, would be to have more food trucks. And Jason at Petals… Wow! What a genuine pleasure to get to get his advise and suggestions on problem areas in our yard! He was extremely helpful to us! And Alice was such a help, we felt like she was there for us and by the end of the day had become a friend. We will be back!

Just incase anyone was wondering about the Bee NUC thing. Bee Nucs are normally 2 or 3 frames of brood and 1 to 2 frames of honey/pollen. Usually nucs will contain 5 frames in total. Its what's holding the frames.

My husband passed out and seized from dehydration while we were out of town.
It was so scary because it happened 3 times in succession. I called the ambulance and they started an IV on the way to the hospital.
He remembers nothing but I’ll never forget it.

I really enjoy watching you all. It’s too bad that I no longer drive that far or I would love to have come to Petals from the Past. Watching Jason with that incredible garden and Brooke on the tractor or MaryCarl with her birds makes me want to come through the screen. Think about helping Jason dig in the garden or finally learn how to drive a tractor with Brooke’s instruction or MaryCarl and CB I could talk about birds for hours ( I used to have parrots.)
But, that’s my dream. At 75, I don’t travel that far and unfortunately, can’t work that hard. So, I live my dream through you. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the building, Jason’s garden/ greenhouse and Mary Carl’s aviary. Brooke, I miss you feeding Mildred. That was always so cute.

Jason, my youngest boy Anthony was born with one kidney and it's a duplex kidney (meaning two ureters from the kidney into his bladder). The nephrologist told us besides infection as the biggest risk to the kidney, dehydration is the second biggest risk with constipation as the third (it increases pressure on the kidney). He says to keep a pedialyte/gatoraide type liquid around but SODIUM is a huge concern due to blood pressure issues as he grows. There is a great mix called REHYDRATE I think that is great you can add to bottles of water and you can even get them in individual packets to keep in the car for emergencies. My boy carries a water bottle everywhere he is 10years old now and will tell you in a heart beat that keeping his kidney hydrated it his main priority! LOL oh to be a kid again and that be my only concern. LOL....anyway, my point is Brooke is right to be concerned about dehydration, with only one kidney you are at greater risk of it and also having residual negative impact afterwards increases. Please please please take care of yourself and remember that ALL of your electrolytes leave when you have GI distress like that and those electrolytes are super super important in proper balance, plain water doesn't always do it. I know I don't have to tell you all of this, but as a mother and nurse, it's a concern for your health and safety ALTHOUGH I know Ms Brooke has it covered and if in a millisecond would get you looked at if needed. I am glad you are feeling better and back on your feet. Please take care of yourself, and relax a little to take care of yourself.

Just to add my two cents along with everyone else, welcome back to "good health". I was so afraid you had something that would land you in the hospital. I go every morning to see if you've posted another video/podcast. I might have missed one and that, for me, wouldn't be good. I look forward to everything you do. We can all tell how gentle, kind and loving all three of you are.
I live in the city of Salt Lake City, UT. Smack dab in the middle of it. I'm 80 y/o and wish I was 40 again so I could live on a homestead. I love farm life. I've learned so much from you about the chickens and have passed on any further idea of getting any. Please, know that you are all loved. Take care and God bless you all.

Oh Jason I can't nap either.
If I lay down.... I'm sick.
The back of my neck starts aching and I know I'm getting sick.
It usually takes only a couple hours and I know its ON!

Jason & Brooke~ You All have Such a LOVELY PERSONALITY, SO SWEET & KIND & YOUR SMILES ARE INFECTIOUS THAT IT IS NO WONDER PEOPLE ARE DRAWN TO YOU!!!!! We just cannot help but watch your videos and listen to every word you say and cannot wait for your videos to come out because you are so real and down to earth and you make our lives more happy and joyful and you bring that into our hearts more than you realize so I am not surprised one bit that you had to turn out that you did! And Brook come I don’t want you to ever say again that this is JUST ABOUT JASON❣️❣️Jason would not be Jason without you. Just like when he dances the smile on your face encourages him in your body is moving in your hands are clapping in your feet are Tappin’ & you give him the encouragement & support he needs to be who is is!!! You guys are such an incredible team just like my Mom and Dad was. People were drawn to our home all the time and my Dad had a bubbly personality and I do too, It was my Mom’s food people came for & the Comfort of her home. Don’t ever understand yourself again because that hurts us to think you don’t matter as much as Jason. Plus without you there would be no Mary Carl right 😊❣️❣️And I just love seeing your smile and your rosy cheeks and the way you look at Jason warms my heart that’s all part of it. & Not too many women can say they CAN DRIVE A KABOTA TRACTOR❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
The last thing I wanna say besides the fact that you guys are just awesome and that we love you is, Jason I have kidney issues too as well as cancer and my son brought me this wonderful product that is such a thirst quencher but it’s also healthy in so many ways I won’t waste time on this video to tell you you can look it up yourself but it’s called “BODY ARMOR” drink. It comes with a lot of electrolytes and vitamins and this one is very unique in that you can buy it in the light form or the regular form and I like them both in fact I think I prefer the light but all of the flavors are mixed flavors like banana and lemonade or strawberry and lemon or one of my favorite is orange and mango. I think there is around 15 flavors. Not to mention the fact that the bottle is very easy to hold onto so it’s not slipping out of your hand when it’s cold but it’s all natural and has coconut water in it and AntiOxidants, and as I already mentioned vitamins a lot of them and electrolytes and this would be a great thing for you to have when you’re out on those kind of activities but especially when you start to feel a little sluggish but if I’m working outdoors that’s what I take outdoors besides just water. People say oh drink lots of water but when you have a health issue you have to give your body a little extra month and this is a big find in my oncologist love this stuff and recommend it as does my kidney doctor…So I hope you can find it and I know Walmart has it and even pharmacies are carrying it so good luck to you and I love you guys. I don’t have the health right now to come and visit you but someday I’m hoping I can come to Alabama and meet you. God bless you both for everything you do for so so many but your smiles in your videos touch our lives it away you will never begin to understand. I for one am so thankful for what you’ve done for my life😊♥️🌈❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Brooke, I am a 62 year old woman and I took welding when I was in High School in the 1970s. I haven't done it since, but could if I had to. You will need to get an acetylene set up and possibly arc welding equipment. they are different methods and are used for different things. To weld aluminum, you need to use argon. I don't know what you would would need for your farm, but whoever you learn from can tell you that. I know you will be a great welder and I really admire you!

I agree with y’all about the doggie door. The only time I have had a issue with our Doggie door is when our dog brought a dead rabbit 🐇 through the doggie door. It only happened 1 time with 4 dogs over the years. We have sold our house and our full time RVing. Really miss the doggie door. God bless you and your and family. 🙋🏻‍♀️♥️🇺🇸

It's so nice that I have never seen you talk down to the cog squad or lecture and scold your followers that's really more common than you all could imagine.
So thank you for not being condescending one minute and then act humble and thankful the next.
You guys have really become one of my favorite channels.
Brooke do you know of or follow Brenda Gantt?
She's so much like you guys and her channel is such a blessing to her and to her followers. She's just so humble and down to earth.
Nothing made up or a production to get views.
Please never change. We don't need entertained we enjoy the genuineness of your channel. I am looking forward to your garden videos Jason. I'm just so excited as you guys get closer to getting into your new home. MC is my favorite. She's just adorable.

A couple of months ago while this area was in a COVID surge, we both felt less than great after eating out in a restaurant. By evening the next day, we were sorta, kinda thinking food poisoning of some type. By 2 days or so later we were less than stellar and thinking beyond food poisoning and the third day was the worst. By the 4th day we were feeling good enough to look at symptoms for the COVID variant going around which didn't include tummy and even so, all included respiratory. By the 5th day, we spoke with a neighbor who chuckled and said something to the effect - "Oh, you got the tummy flu too!?" Apparently it might have been going through the schools and it was definitely going through the neighborhood. The neighbor said give it another 2 days and if we didn't see continual improvement or any back sliding, get some medical attention. One of the things of that tummy flu was that people were tired after feeling better for a couple of days. - We decided to go back home and take a nap.

I am not sure I can relay in words just how much pleasure I get from seeing all three of you in your videos. You are certainly a team and without any pretenses or staging. I anxiously await each posting as you elevate the collective consciousness that the internet provides allowing us to live vicariously as your friends. Thank you! I had a thought about the dog door (room entrance) that might look like a cabinet door if you could make either the doors or the door panels function as bat-wing saloon doors which would open after pushing from either direction.
