You English speakers always had advantages playing any game because of the language. Kids like me in the 90s who didn't know a single word beside yes and no had lots of trouble going through a whole game, yet we did countless times and that made me a fluent English speaker today.
I always liked how this level was designed with the AI cut scenes, textures and layout of the bank interior. Along with the interlacing of the film clips.

This was more mind boggling than basic algebra at school back when I was 6. I must have played this game for many hours over the span of 2 years. But I don’t think I ever got far past the lady at the front desk.
Quite a steep learning curve for a game - the first thing you gotta shoot is the cameras, which requires quite a bit of precision. This seemed to be common in PS1 games tho; in Driver, the first mission was to pull off a load of complex manoeuvres in an underground car park in under a minute or two without hitting anything 🤯
Lol I was just playing driver one less than a week ago for the first time in a while, and was saying the same thing. Very hard at first. If you change the controls and have an analogue joystick controller aiming in 007 isn't hard at all.
This plays more like a stealth game where the N64 version is more like a standard FPS game. This is like a prototype of the Agent Under Fire/Nightfire style Bond games, pretty cool to see.

So that's how we pass the level. I remembered playing it at 10 years old, I thought it was a FPS and the first level is like, kind of ramboing all the way to the meeting room :)
