This presentation is such a wonderful gift for me because I have become interested in weaving, but am put off by the thought of buying looms and shuttles, etc., etc. And I love folk art so the idea of carving a simple heddle that is portable and easy to use is very appealing to me. I admire Kerstin's thought process and work ethic and that she is sharing her experiences with this craft with others who are interested in learning her techniques. This was fascinating and a delight from start to finish! I recently read "Handwoven Tape" by Susan Faulkner Weaver, and this was great to build on what I learned from that book. I'm very tempted to try weaving tape, but I really don't need yet another hobby!
