“I’m Mr Squiggle….” Ingenious champagne comedy of the highest order 👏
Vintage!
Working Dog have made the smartest, funniest comedy in Australia. And also, as we see here, the stupidest, funniest comedy in Australia.
Seriously, you guys have been responsible for injecting so much joy into my life since I was a kid.
they also produced, scripted some great Australian movies..
@@wilson2455 Yep. In fact The Castle is a contender for my favourite Australian movie of all time.
I watched all their shows religiously as they went to air and loved them all but I find myself in tears laughing at all of this today. Absolute comedy gold.
Never gets old. Lost my Sat nights during my uni years staying home just for the Late Show! 😂
This show is utter brilliance! Still makes me laugh
Next time I'm at St Vincent's I'll ask for the Date Devil Ward 👍🏼
“I don’t have the brown underpants on for nothing”. Champagne 🥂 from start to finish.
Working Dog can you load all the eps into UA-cam or somewhere that we can relive the best Comedy series ever? 😁😁😁
I'm a bit of a dinosaur but there is a DVD release, my copy is on regular rotation. It may not be available anymore with modern digital. Working Dog are insanely funny, goodness me: Frontline, Utopia, and the criminally underrated Funky Squad to name three of so many. Champagne comedy, Aussie humour at it's best.
I bought the 'Champagne' comedy DVD years back and loved it. I've only ever seen the clip shows. Do the full episodes exist anywhere or were they wiped?
So good.. Loved Shitscared back in the day.. Miss the Late Show.
I remember watching this when I was 24 years old I'm 52 now so it's been a long long time 1993 or 1994
“I haven’t got the brown underpants on for nothing” 😂🤣😂🤣😂
😁👍 great to see this stuff again!
Unreal always loved everything from D Gen, the late show and of course the castle and frontline.
Holy crap! That pedal gag was so dangerous. Rob could have lost his sight igniting a pyrotechnic so close to his face.
Remember when Rob and Mick were at Movie World and Rob explained how Movie World was Wimbledon for stuntmen and around here "I'm top seed." I also remember a documentary about Ken Carter, the stuntman who wanted to jump a jet powered car between the USA and Canadan border. It was a fascinating documentary about this world of stuntmen.
“The Devil at Your Heels”. Truth is stranger than fiction
I wonder if he knows, Super Dave
WORKING DOG PROMOTIONS.
Is it possible for you to post the skit,"Who Knew Brett Best",where a panel of game show contestents battle it out to see who knew Brett Whiteley the best.
I would love to see it again and for you to share it with us fans.
(P.S.,....."I borrowed his lawnmower!").
My Australia.
comedy classic 😅
Champagne sketch comedy 🥂
Can u upload or find the "Lou Interligi Story" with Santo? It used to be on YT but I can't find it now. Maybe it got taken down? 😡
The Lou interligi story is great.
@@fanatamon He was "Breaking down ethnic barriers & holding up a mirror to multicultural society" 🤣
@@fanatamon I'm a idiot. I actually hve the DVD of The Late Show Champagne Edition. It's on that. Proper working title "Beware Of Wog". It's just convenient being on YT. So it's "Sweeeeet Mate!" 🤣
@@SuperRoo_22 “You can take the boy out of Brunswick but you can’t take Brunswick out of the boy”. “Hear no evil See no evil Spec no evil” great attention to detail in the newspaper cutting also the t-shirt “I’m a greasey slimeball” haha, so good.
@@fanatamon I reckon it's one of the funniest skits that The Late Show ever produced. Yep, absolute "Champagne Comedy". "All of my friends are getting Mazdas" 🤣
Oh well, if we all have to eat bugs at least we'll be happy. If nobody owns anything will the videos be free? 😉🙂
I wonder how much these shitscared skits can be attributed to Super Dave
3 meke
Australian comedy went sharply down hill from the late 1990’s. Thats when the perpetually offended crying generation came along by the early 2000’s.
Gee 30 years old well I am 52
