Odin Fuzz v3 Guitar Fuzz Pedal Demo Review

The Fjord Fuzz Odin v3. What an awesome fuzz with two fuzz circuits in one box. Circuit 1 is a modern take on the fuzz face, but not picky with pedalboard placement. Buffers and/or active pickups sound great with this fuzz.
The second fuzz circuit is a super responsive octave fuzz. Both circuits respond to the guitar volume knob, giving you all kinds of colors and levels of dirt. The big volume knob on the fuzz pedal is big for a reason. This may be be the loudest pedal I've ever had, perfect for pushing a crunch amp, or a dynamic drive pedal used to mimic a crunchy amp.

I usually fall on the “bang for the buck” side of gear purchases. I like quality, but always want to feel like I got a good deal.
So, IMO, since you’ve really got 2 circuits in one, I think it’s definitely worth the price. I’m with you, what cool looking pedal.
The bonus is that it is not picky with buffers/pedalboard placement. The Strat I was using on some of the clips has the Clapton mid-boost. I never turn the mid boost up, but even at zero it’s got a boost of several DBs. I usually can only play fuzz face/tone benders with this guitar if they have an impedance control.
Zero problems with the Odin fuzz in that regard. I don’t know what magic design Fjord employed to make this fuzz so easy to work with, but it even cleans up beautifully with my active Strat! Pretty dang cool.
