What works for you works for you. Personally I feel his chart was incredibly cluttered and hard to read. I also dislike Fibonacci as I see no valid market theory behind it. Newer traders should keep charts simple - focus on price.

i agree with all except about the monthly chart. if i was swing trading, the monthly chart would be important. but day trading off bigger time frames the monthly chart is useless in my opinion. maybe the highest to look at is the weekly. but the monthly is too broad and will throw off accuracy. weekly i only look at in the beginning of the week and near the end. but day chart will tell you everything you need to know to be accurate that day. fib levels tell you everything yet not many people use them. trend lines are okay their problem is they don't let you see possible resistance or support areas. fib retracement and nothing else i could be very accurate. all you have to do is watch how candles react to the lines
@@DayTradeIdeas You are most welcome. Say, Jason do you pay any attention to the role of volume levels as you do your SMA(50,100,200,500), with fib levels of swing high-lows: mn->w1->d1->h4 etc? I just placed on, volumes indi along with a 20 period sma to show the average volume levels/bars. Anything touching that sma(20) and above for the volume, being taken as above average. Limiting entries to high volume bars on your entry time frame imho: could help with entry accuracy? Your thoughts are invaluable here. Thanks in advance. Bless!👼🏿🙏🏿
@@arrcee8396 I think it is a very good idea to monitor volume. I do not monitor closely myself, because I'm looking for quite short-term indicators, for intraday trading. I find the volume in itself is not particularly helpful in the short term. I did not examine the data in depth to be fair. I'm always looking for tools that are consistently helpful. So if you can find a way that it helps you it could certainly be a very useful tool.
Started listening but he's off big time. That W pattern on the weekly suggests that the dollar will come down to the middle peak. The EURUSD is at the 2002 level and will for sure go up, question is when. Summer can be surprisingly volatile with good opportunity.
well i think that tomorrow when market opens it is a good spot to go short on usdjpy swing trade we made a good pullback in to a nice level for a short....
Both these guys are good. The interviewer asks good questions, he clearly is in deep too. Jason offers good insights and is not defensive at all even on provocative questions like that last one.

The dollar is already way higher than when we recorded the interview.
