I LOVE LEGO ART
Thank you so much for the shout outs and cap tips to my art designs. The moment lego announced these - the possibilities were endless! So much great stuff out there to build and hang on your wall!
My wife did the Jack Skellington, my daughter did the Harley Quinn and the dabbing unicorn on rebrickable. They’re all pretty good.
just bought the ‘art’ set for the spaceman. Never really considered them before - although the Warhol was tempting. Finding it very relaxing to build, and very different to regular lego.
I love the look of that Harley Quinn, the tiger and the Mario art (with the yellow background). The vintage space options are also very cool, really up your alley. Same with the space alternates of the Beatles Art. So many great choices.

You can convert the Star Wars Sith art triple set into a batman design.
A lot more options with the round and normal 1x1 plates.
The tiles are limited still in some colours.
So definitely check out the designs with 1x1 plates. Some amazing stuff out there!
Those Stormtrooper and Boba Fett sets look pretty sweet

Someone did an amazing Christopher Reeve Superman portrait with the art sets when they first came out. It’s what convinced me to get a few of the art sets, just to try and recreate that design!

The Oilers one looks awesome! A VGK one would be amazing too. It would probably be a harder one to make though

My ideas for mosaics that would SELL:
-Simpsons set (6+ character options)
-Star Wars starfighters set (x-wing, tie fighter, etc. options)
-DC Superheroes (3+ options)
-Marvel Superheroes (3+ options)
-jungle animals (4+ options)
-birds (4+ options)
-food art
-Nintendo characters
-LOTR (4+ character options)
-Sports Cars (3+ options)
-National flags (America, UK, France use the same 3 colors)
I've made a few of these mosaics, and I know there's a market for it if LEGO picks subjects that Adult lego fans would love to display on their wall. The more options are included in a single set, the higher the chance more people will buy the same set for their favorite character/item.
I wonder if there's a way to petition these ideas to Lego...

Would be good to see more ‘unrestricted’ mocs. Some alternates are great but some seem limited by the colours available. Would like to see some just using whatever colours (that are available) eg ones from dots packs or combining multiple art sets.

Well I wouldn't embarrass myself by putting superhero or sw pics on the wall as 'art', but it has potential. The space pics were awesome.

If you go to Lego Art Remix it can help you design your own MOCs from the existing sets

If you were ever to do an Otto art portrait from the Simpsons, the pink eyes would make perfect sense.
I also did a computer graphic myself of my favorite sports team! Will be doing that one at some point and also a regular Lego Logo 👍🏻

Cool art sets. I remember you said you would do a moc Canadian flag 🇨🇦 art. You still considering to do the flag. I just think it be great for your room so people can quickly identify your from Canada.
Lego should also do flags of the world, and a app that could transfer your photo into a art set showing what you need and instructions on how to build your photo art.
Wouldn't be nice if the art was electric and it can turn the plates around showing different art sets. Like a flip board you see at the airport.
I want from Lego Art T800 Arnold and T-1000 Robert from Terminator 2. I want also Walter White and Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad.
My favorite is mario, homer, wonder woman and sonic because they all look authentic... my next suggestions are luigi, bart, bowser, captain america, optimus prime, bumblebee, arcee, Megatron, captain america symbol, autobot symbol, decepticon symbol, freddy fazbear, foxy, toy chica, toy bonnie and lastly pacman!

He doesn't currently have instructions for that one on Rebrickable
I'm currently working on creating instructions for it. Not sure if they'll go on rebrickable or elsewhere - but I'm targeting having them done over the next 30 days or so!

If you have the pieces yeah. But in general these art is kind of a waste of money. A nice printed poster is way better but thats just my opinion you know
