In early march I put in a request from a friend outside of town for 40lbs of onions when he harvests. This way he knows he has that sale guaranteed. He has a few acres where he raises certain vegetables for sale in town. I dont have that kind of space in my garden in town. I have plenty of chives that ive kept with me for 20 years and 4 different homes, 2 states. Zone 5B
My onion seeds were strong, transplanted well. Soil has cow manure compost, some sand, AB’s bones meal, a healthy soil combination. They just don’t seem to be really growing much.
