My impression of the new memory function from Open AI is that it would expand beyond the hard limits of customization of GPTs. Those custom instructions have a character limit. So It's not as useful as it could be. But this new memory would accumulate over time without hard limits. And the ability to tell GPT during a chat, hey make sure to remember this, is a very useful feature. At least, that's how I hope it works. If it really is the same as the current custom instructions, then you are right.

From the moment I saw the Apple Vision Pro, I said that it would only be truly useful when it came equipped with a personalized AI assistant (kinda like our very own Jarvis, from the Iron Man movies). That definitely seems to be the direction we're heading in.
Great video as usual, but I just asked "Book Summarizer" to summarize a certain novel, and it came up with total nonsense, making up stuff, such as saying that the main character was invisible (literally). That GPT is garbage in my opinion.
