Mane I be making some gorilla beats!!! That 808 is crazy when it's clashing. It don't work for everything but what it when it does, it hits different because it's a rare sound
the secret to the bass is to grab one of those zay 808's put it into ur mpc 2000xl and hit the 16 levels button using note variation creating different sounds of bass from low to high

@kersitie Most of the overnight stars use MIDI instruments, not VST's. I used FL Studio until about 2006, then I got a keystation and started using Reason. I like the physical environment, and the workflow. Plus, you can use it on Mac O/S. :-D
