The best Synchronous tutorial that I've watched! I love how you provide examples that are practical, not a bunch of useless noise where the guy goes, so as you can see you can do so much! Kudos!
Getting back into Reason after living in Ableton for a decade, thanks so much for these tutorials. Extremely helpful and you always do something mad creative! Cheers!
don't you just connect a compressor to it? isn't the whole point of reason's existence is module based rack system where you can connect devices to create different sounds?
People sleep on most of the Reason devices. They'll talk about how you gotta buy something like Decimort yet Reason has Scream and Pulverizer either of which are really good distortion devices capable of getting character, rasp, and tape-style distortion.
Then tell me, how to automate the curve in the sequencer. Like, drawing curves in synchronus itself is very limited over time and the same pattern gets boring really quickly so I want to do it in the edit. Any ideas?
@@Sool101 Well you can flip the rack on most any Reason device and use LFOs or Matrix CV to modulate many things in the device. IT's one of the strengths of Reason but it takes a bit of experimentation.

Favorite technique -- plut (...? PLUG) Synch in Combinator, run CV 3 out from Synch to Combi CV in, route to curve phase offsets.
You explain things so we’ll and stick to what’s important!! Do u have one on how to do side chain compression on this device?

You are the greatest! Salute to you and this channel
Thank you, I needed this! Synchronous has been really diffuse to me, but now I start to understand what's the point of it.
Awesome! I’m glad you’re getting it now! 🙂
Drop-in knowledge ty
Your videos are the best. Thank you
Thank YOU!
I'd never used this before and used it with a sample last night.. completely changed the song 👌
Awesome!
Great tutorial. Thanks!
Can you do a tutorial on making different bass drops like you talk about in your video. Thanks!
How long have you been using reason? Also, thank you for taking me to school.
>M
You should make some synchronous patchs, love using this on loops
I definitely will!
Hello Julie, you're an excellent teacher, but I think you knew that LOL
How do you add other third party packs into reason like ghosthawk?
You always use europa!
Thanks Jelie for this video but I ask, is it possible to copy the modulation curves from Synchronous to track?
Unfortunately not directly 😔
Kickback Couture and do you know the way to do it?
I honestly have no idea. There is a toolbox I use for curves here. ua-cam.com/video/6y0Ro2M1Sh4/v-deo.html
why doesn't it hange the sound when I do this.. the signal stays the same
What are you trying to do?
People sleep on synchronous. Even me😏
We gotta wake up! ✊🏾💯😆
