Kofi, it's all moderation. If you eat a basket full of salad leaves, it will turn to sugar so as a health worker, I will say eat with moderation. Eating a big bowl of rice balls, fufu, etc will definitely end up in sugar. The kicker is if your body can produce enough insulin, the rest is not a concern
That is why is Europe the at the restaurant the first plate is 🥗 salads , second plate is the heavy like meat potato 🥔🍠 rice 🍚🌾 etc and the last is the dissert ,cakes , yogurt, pudens ,etc ,and a gas drink like Fanta coca cocola etc ,and coffee ☕ to digest all down 😀

Eat more veggies 🥦 Not Fruit 🍎. You can also eat spinach stew with plantain or little brown rice. Cabbage stew with brown rice . Cut down on the carbohydrates. Remember to incorporate a lot of veggies 🥗 in your diet. Register at a gym and exercise 45 minutes almost everyday at least 5 days a week. Your sugar will stabilize
Try and fast for 18 to 24 hours. Eat more vegetables and meat ,fish, egg but not too much. Eat brown rice once or twice a week.fufu, banku and tuo zaafi once in two weeks. Walk 30 minutes for 5 days to reverse your diabetes.

I eat organic meat with avocado. and i lost a lot of weight ( no rice, bread or fufuor banku)

Life style changes if you haven’t been exercising then please start going to the gym.
