Hey Justin, I just wanted to say thank you. Your video on the Cane Walker/Drift Walker you did at chatuge helped me have my best day on Wedowee a couple of weeks ago. They absolutely killed that thing all day!
The traffic is worse than it use to be! We bought a lot and built a lake place on Smith Lake in 1963. We had that place for 20 years. I now live on the Coosa River and still enjoy catch large spotted bass! Thanks for the video guys!
Justin, how would you go about catching these spots without scope? I live 30 minutes from the dam and 1hr from the park. I like the park better when the water is down because the dam gets too deep in the winter level. I know that sounds crazy but the shallower water is gone and the bluffs are all there is.
I would stay a long cast off the bank and points and cover as much water near the surface as possible as fast as you can. Up by the park is definitely a great shallow area!
I caught a 6lb spot of the same point that big one came off, sad thing is we came in 2nd that derby with 11lbs with 5. It was sad to catch her and not have 4 overs to go with it

It definitely is worse. Sounds like you moved from one good spot lake to another good one!

I hear ya, but a 6lber is an absolute stud of a spot!!
What was the water temp?
Low 60s
How are you identifying “Damiki” fish

They are down in 30-40’
