Meso cap with no meso cubes, event shop cubes removed, union shop cubes removed, with no prior announcement and notices, high mountain reward coins does not scale with maple points like kms does, increased cash shop prices etc

@@jman2413 If that was the case then lots of games that also have a SG/MY server would be equally as ahh as MSEA, but most of them actually listen and have free reigns over it.
The problem is MSEA only serve SG/MY region AND only have less than 11k players left(based on amount of participants in Union and Mapril Survey). Everything they do is to milk money so they stay profitable. You know MSEA players do not care when gachapon spams started the moment patch was done.
At this point, Play Park is just milking as much money as possible since Nexon most likely want to take the game back. Lots of MSEA players already left to play Reboot using VPN.
Fwiw, many of the bigger msea streamers have been streaming GMS Kronos over the past 2-ish weeks, so they are making their stance clear. Not much else they can do though since SEA players (or rather sg/my) technically aren't supported by GMS and VPN-ing over is technically against ToS.
PPsoft probably wont change anything though as long as people like HFM and Pearll continues to spend, and it's not really anybody's place to tell them to not spend their own money on their own hobbies.
Having an ETA so far away is fine, this is good communication. Even if they aren't gonna do it right away, they are working on it.

So far, they only banned people from China. MYSG didn’t get banned yet so far besides those who were botting

The different publishers of the different Maple services (CMS, TMS, MSEA) have it in their contracts with Nexon that they have exclusive rights the playerbases in their countries. Just google "Maplestory Region Limitations" or go on the subreddit and look up "China ban wave" and you'll find a ton of results.

Steve, each character has 1 pet slot to use/equip by default. The Pet snack gives us the option to unlock 3 total pet slots for that character permanently. Right now it cost NX. The benefit of this change is we can buy it with reward points instead of having to pay Nx. This gives us the option for our mules to have 3 pet slots in total by spending RP now.
Overall I love these changes!
Thank you very much for the summary of the inkwell note - I already watched it twice since this morning and I must admit - most of the content i did not expect at all. It's already impressive that they are finally trying to approach the needs of the GMS player base. Of course, many things are still not manifested or rather in development over a longer period of time. Yet, it does show at least a ray of hope for a “Better Maple” in the close future.
For now - even though a lot of things are still in development - I consider this as a win for the players.
Hopefully, the necessary implementations will once more make the interactive world more attractive to new players.

I was reluctant at 1st to migrate over, tried playing it for like 2 weeks and now seeing this, I'm glad I did 😂🤣
Aww man. I'd love to go on and get playing again now that they've finally addressed the multiple elephants in the room and doused a lot of the fires, but I'm busy having fun with other games (namely Thousand Year Door and eventually FFXIV DawnTrail). But I'm very happy to see this news coming for global MS and finally igniting some actual fire in the community (the good kind of fire, lol). Sadly i don't think I'll be back for long when this update drops, but now i can rest easy knowing that Global MapleStory is in good hands and is not going to rot under the new KMS model while I'm gone.
The last note from inkwell was a good hint, but a lot of us were skeptical and rightly so. This note on the other hand, is easily the biggest W that GMS has seen since the Reboot worlds were first announced back in 2016. Good shit.

No,no,no... they will NOT merge the auction house cross worlds IF they do a world merge then it would just be a world merge.
World Merge would be used as a last resort only and they will try to fix the issues first and do a wait and see approach before actually considering a world merge.

as a MapleSEA player this news makes us Envy also sad for ourself. wondering why are we playing SEA server.
Im just extremely grateful that GMS developers finally start to care about Interactive server, regardless of the cause. Tbh every patch til now was purely Heroic-based, and they seemed to have little or no care about interactive server at all. I hope this becomes a milestone for further improvements in GMS interactive world

Just a reminder that we NEVER got the RNG checking site that they promised for transparency, and everyone just forgot.
The cubing RNG site? It's been out in KMS for ~3 years after the FTC caught them.
Now what we don't know is if other regions like GMS have higher rates in which case it's better if we don't find out and get nerfed.
