David- I am so pleased that you have acknowledged your true self- I have always known that you have been gay- even during the American Idle days...It brought me so much peace to hear that you finally came to terms with who you really are. I lived a very similar life, trying to live the life my parents wanted me to live... two engagements- and never being able to follow through with it as I never wanted to hurt a soul! Also- I realized that Jesus never condemned gay people. Formal religion discriminated gay people . Gay people would never increase the congregation to advance the financial gain the church aspired to achieve. Jesus loved all of the social outcasts and spent most of his time with them! .
