I just watched this video again. And why not. Some people watch a movie twice, and with all the wonderful information in this video, I had to watch it again to make sure I absorb all the little golden nuggets of information. You go, Cassiy. You GO )))))))))))))))))))))))
That is so interesting your experience with the ceramic mug...they are supposedly the rage this year and I personally have had very good results! I sell them as a set though, Mr and Mrs wedding mugs. The sample set I ordered for myself was stunning, way prettier than the picture, font and graphics really clear. My customers have loved them so far. Granted I am a small shop, but out of my 81 or so sales, I believe 14 of them have been the ceramic mug set. If you sell a set you get a cut on the shipping on the second on so it's more profitable!
I love that you are selling them as a set, this is a great way to stand out for sure! Might be time to add new versions of those mugs! I really have built my business on finding one thing that works and then duplicating it to make lots more versions for sale in the same search results!
That's a great idea, selling them as a set. I have seen so many videos saying mugs are a great product for Etsy, but I can't seem to price them under $32 and that's only making a tiny profit per mug. I'm in Canada, so USD adds to my cost, but even when I use the Canadian POD provider in Printify, by the time I pay shipping ($12USD, so $16 Canadian) and the mug itself, it's just so expensive. Selling as a pair would at least bring the shipping down a bit per mug. Thanks for that idea!
Seriously Cassiy you are AMAZING - I just requested this video yesterday and here it is today!! Thank you!!! 💛I appreciate all the valuable tips and info you share and this was a such a helpful video!! I was about to add enamel mugs - so glad for this review because I'm going to go with the colored ones instead!! Love love love your channel and I could listen to you all day - you speak so calmly and unrushed - you are an awesome teacher!
@@marys.5050 Yes I think the printify mocks work perfect for the mugs. I've made plenty of sales on mugs without fancy mocks. It's not as important as a shirt because they don't have to imagine themselves wearing it if that makes sense!
@@CassiyJohnson Yes that makes perfect sense. I think partly I was thinking maybe those images are oversaturated on etsy, but I haven't spent any time looking into it.
Hey Cassiy. You are so easy to understand. Thanks for taking the time to help everyone. How in the world do you make money giving all this knowledge away for free? Shows you are just all around awesome. Anyhow, I'm on Printify and I don't see any "mylocker" brands being offered. All I see is "generic brand".
Oh wow, prices truly have gone up in just the past 3 months! Thank you for your great very, very helpful videos, I watch them all the time, and you really help me to keep going! I can't thank you enough.
Ok, so back for another question Cassiy. I just received my own ceramic mug sample from District Photo, and the design looks VERY blurry, like it's very low resolution. The design i put on Printify, was 300 dpi, which was supposedly "high resolution" according to Printify. What i see here, in your video however, when you make the design, it's at 1043 dpi. And your ceramic mug, looks detailed and of high resolution, as far as i can make out from my PC monitor at least. My mug already took about 17 days to arrive, and i cannot afford trying too many times, as time is very important here. At any given moment i may have an order, and one of these low res mugs can get to a customer, and i don't want them to get low quality items. Also, what i noticed, is even though i had my design with a transparent background on a black mug, there is a different, more washed out black color, set as a background, wrapping around the mug, with too obvious borders (the rectanguar perimeter of the print). Looks like a really poor quality print overall. I wish i could sent you a close up shot to show you what i mean, but i think you understand what i'm talking about, and i'm not sure the photo would catch that sufficiently. I literally have no more money left to make a new design and order another sample. I have just a small backup, barely enough for Printify to draw and make an order for a customer. So, my question, would you advise me to reupload all my designs at a higher dpi, or change my print provider completely? That goes for all my T-Shirts too. They're all at 300 dpi. Sorry for the lengthy comment, and possible misinterpretations. English is not my main language...
Thanks for sharing the layout of a design on a mug. I have POD shop for shirts and coasters but was confused on how to show the design on a mug. And I no idea you could put the design on both sides. Genius!!
I also wanted to add, and to those watching this, I had no idea I could print on both sides of a Coffee Mug without there being an extra cost. I was going bonkers trying to decide what side would be best to print on. However, while watching this video, Cassiy (Thanks, Cassiy) stated we can print on both sides of a Coffee Mug at no extra charge. Hence, my dilemma, was no longer a concern.
So glad I could clear that up for you! I know there are so many little things to learn in the beginning, so I am glad I can make it all quicker and easier for you!
If you pay attention, you will understand this is a really, REALLY great video. I'd watch it twice, take notes, so you can make sure you absorb all the information.
Hello Cassiy! I enjoy your channel and gain a lot of knowledge from your videos. Your videos are beneficial, and I've learned so much already. As a beginner in Printify, I want to start my Etsy store and sell items like cups, t-shirts, notebooks, and more. I'm creative but want to ensure my products stand out and appeal to potential buyers. It's nerve-wracking, but I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be successful in this venture. Thanks for all the great tips!
Wonderful channel you have Cassiy, You've solved most of my doubts on selling mugs in this video. Anyway I must say that the highest quality mug and packaging for me was the first one you showed.
Since using the mug as my literal camping mug, I have come to really like it! It's a little smaller than how I typically like my mugs but its super cute
Awesome video! Thank you so much for comparing different types of mugs and how you calculate pricing!! I’m a new POD seller and am working on my first mug. I’m so confused by how you set up shipping profiles because it asks for me to pick shipping services (Priority, first class, etc) but I have no idea what Printify uses?! The Etsy listing also wants me to enter the items size and weight. How do you setup your shipping profiles? This would also be a helpful tutorial idea if you need one - going over how to setup shipping profiles for free shipping as well as products like mugs which have different shipping costs based on weight/size of mugs. Thank you!
The first listing you make needs all of those things but then you delete the first example listing that Etsy makes you make. You shouldn't ever need to enter the size and weight again after that. Just make sure you start the listing on Printify, add the designs to the mug etc. Then once in Etsy set the shipping profile on Etsy. I believe they use First class 1-5 business day shipping. And free shipping set up on Etsy covers everything even the mugs. And mugs have a flat rate shipping, it doesn't change. Here is the video where I show how to set this up, I have it starting at the 25 minute mark where I go over that ua-cam.com/video/pSs0nMfRqZc/v-deo.html
Ok I swear I’m not stalking you 😂 As I move from Printful to Printify on my tiny store I do have to say that I love my mug. This video was really helpful to me and I appreciated the packaging walkthrough as well as all of the other details. Just watching your videos I’m picking up on a ton of stuff I never thought about or knew.
Hi Cassiy! SO Happy I found you! You are AWESOME!!!! I love all your videos = Im binge watching them all today =))) Thank you so much....you're videos are all super helpful
I didn’t realize you could use the same png design that you use for tshirts and just put it on a mug. I thought it had to be a separate design (and made smaller) for a mug. This is a game changer!
Thank you so much, Cassiy! I was concerned about the quality of my files as I make my own. You inspired me to order some to check on the product quality as well. I am so happy I did. The files were not as clean as I hoped they would be so I immediately took them down from the shop. I sat down and redid the two designs in one day and had them up the next. The pint glasses are quality and can't wait for the mugs and other stuff to come in. I am so happy to have found your channel.
Excellent video and I just love that you went as far as to buying the mugs from the top distributors. I am doing a mug etsy store now and almost ready to launch using District Photo. I love that you showed the packaging and quality so I know what it looks like, I have to order myself as well to see if anything changed. I have been watching all your videos that I can to set up my store the right way. You're amazing and I will do a shop review with you soon as well.
Thank you Cassiy. This was the most value packed video I’ve seen on a long time. Super helpful as I’m currently building my shop and am trying to create as many listings as possible.
Cassey I had a little question. For instance, Bride Tribe is a trade mark, so using bride on one shirt and tribe on one shirt.. And using a mockup which has both the shirts in, does that violate the trademark?
@@dhruvipatel7328 It's hard to say, it's less about if it IS infringing and more about if the person who filed the trademark REPORTS you for infringing. So personally I'd recommend just making different shirts since there are so many other great sayings you can make for bachelorettes. And keep in mind, the trademarks apply to your SEO titles and tags, you can't have "bride tribe" in your title if its trademarked either.
Hey Cassiy! Thank you so much for all your videos. I have been binging watching over and over because you truly are humble and being so much value. I was wondering if you had any experience or can do a review on Printify notebooks, water bottles, and phone cases. Thanks!
So glad I could give you a new fun project to work on! Always a good idea to reuse your designs, especially ones that have sold! Worth it to open a Merch By Amazon account as well and post the same stuff there!
the prices have increased DRAMATICALLY since this video. The accent mug is now 8.79 and 7.29 for shipping, that is with the discount if you join premium!
You are awesome! Thanks to you I have come a long way with my store and it's doing well. I have a question. I was wondering which POD carries my locker mugs? Printify does not have them. Thanks for all your help.
Hi Cassiy! Thank you so much for your videos!!! Would you be able to make a video on how to create tshirt designs on the pocket section? Do I have to shrink the design?
Yes you just shrink the design on the Printify page to fit in the right corner of the shirt. Just look at other pocket design shirts and compare to your preview to make sure it looks like a good size!
I recently got a sample of the two-tone DP mug and I was pleased with it. I got the pink. However, 2 years ago I had a bad sample with DP (it was blurry and the coloring was off) so I had been reluctant to use them.
Hello Cassiy, great video again. Every time I watch your sample videos I get more disappointed and scared with some suppliers quality control and/or lack of quality in general. This enamel mug order has 3 problems. One defect is not acceptable let alone 3 on the same item (including the loose packaging). Absolutely disgusting they ship it to the customer like that. Your name is on the line. Very discouraging to trust anyone. If you have the chance of showing us MORE SAMPLES, it would be very much appreciated, an eye opener for sure. I love the fact you don't hide the truth nor the supplier's name. Customers and stores should complain and report every single time. Our only chance to get rid of these bad players, I guess. Do they even know you as a store are ordering the item as a sample? Do suppliers in general have a way of knowing that, if the order is for you or the final customer? If they do know the store is buying a sample, I guess the workaround is asking somebody else to order it for you (you paying for it, of course). I just checked on Printify's catalog and ordering page. After you choose the mug or any item, they show you a list of suppliers called "All Print Providers". There is a score next to their names but no actual REVIEW of the supplier, where the buyer can leave a REAL review just like you did, with pictures or videos of their scr*w ups, etc....to warn and alert all of us. Maybe out of shame, they will get their act together, who knows.... Apparently, Printify is not interested in keeping only top notch partners. I'm still in shock. God bless...
I totally get where you are coming from but you have to understand that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes sometimes. I sold over 13,000 items through Printify last year and less than 2% of them had any kind of issue. So sure that's 200ish orders that needed a replacement for a bad print, lost in the mail, hole in the shirt etc. But the other 12,800 orders came perfect!! I think if you keep getting worked up and upset over it, it's going to hold you back from just getting started, learning as you go and improving over time. There is no way you can know everything before you get started. I think a big thing you need to have in this business is the ability to fix any issue when you have it and stay positive and move on quickly.
@@CassiyJohnson I agree 100% with your answer. I believe or want to believe 100% of the "problem" cases get resolved, but that could be too late for the 2% customer retention. Mistakes happen, okay totally fair, but that is different from Quality Control...the whole purpose of quality control is to catch the mistakes before shipping. If I am the supplier, I'd rather loose the item cost and redo it than loose the customer for life. So, Printify and bad suppliers out there, if you are listening to the excellent Cassandra's channel: Get it together, already! I was just wondering if they know when a store buys the item as a sample...apparently they don't cuz that would be the ultimate lack of respect sending you a defective item knowing you want to check its quality. You are correct, i will not let these issues ruin my business. But if they pull these tricks on my customers, suppliers will hear from me, for sure. Always polite but I don't hold back the truth (it's just my personality). Have a good weekend.
It looks like Mylocker is shadow banned on Printify right now for having some shipping issues so the mugs may be back in the future but are not available right now. I'd try the black handle mugs instead!
I love your channel. It’s been incredibly helpful. We’re still learning and I try to implement most of your tips. Would love an evaluation on my store. My goal is achieve the success you were to, with of course realistic expectations. Thanks again still learning
Hi Cassidy, I am so grateful for all your videos and your teaching style. I am difficulty purchasing your income/expense report, the pay option is grayed out. Thank you. Look forward to future videos.
Hi Corby! I am so glad you are enjoying my videos! As for the expense report, it just wanted you to type something in the special instructions box but I got rid of it so now go ahead and add your email and you should be all set! Thanks so much for your support!
Cassiy, I'm new here on you`re channel, congratulations and thanks for sharing your knowledge here! I'm devouring the print-on-demand world and want to get started ASAP! I'm creative and I'm advancing little by little in the theme. I already have practically everything structured on printfy for a start, and I'm going to enter the market soon!! I want to thank you for the information on printing on both sides, it seems silly, but for someone who is starting this information is precious!! A Hi from Brazil!
Cassiy, I am once again impressed by your obvious business smarts/savvy. I appreciate in this video how you covered the packing materials, some noticed flaws in one product, and how to use your spreadsheet calculator for profit and price setting. All of that is nicely demonstrated and very helpful, coming from your experience. :) I do have a request. Please make a video with your suggestions for best practices (for Etsy stores) on how to deal with customer complaints and returns (for whatever reasons). One of concerns I have is customer returns due to size. Another concern is how to handle complaints regarding breakage (if selling mugs or other breakable items). I am also concerned about how to manage any customer complaints because my goal is to set up a store that allows me to work remotely, (boondocking in wilderness areas or camping), where I may not have internet access for a week or more. I am concerned that if I am offline for a week or more, and a customer orders something, receives it, and wants to complain (for any reason) or wants a "return or refund", while I am offline, I won't be able to respond quickly to communications from them. So, I would like to have a policy or method or suggestions on how to handle this. In short, i don't want to have to be tied to the internet every day, as I may be in such remote locations I don't have access to internet (even with smart phone). Please advise how to handle these issues of returns and breakage, and responding to customers if you are unavailable much of the time (week or more at a time). Thanks. Also, if you have already covered this in details in another video, a link will help. I have not yet watched all of your videos yet, but do intend to watch most or all when I can. :)
Great idea! I will make a customer service video soon. I don't take returns or exchanges but if there is an issue with something, I just ask the customer for a photo and then have printify either give me a replacement or a refund. They are more than happy to do this! Unfortunately I would recommend getting a virtual assistant or paying someone you know to do the customer service if you are out of range for a week as I get daily messages with questions/custom order requests or if Printify runs out of stock of something, you may need to manually look at an order before they start to make it.
@@CassiyJohnson Thank you again for your replies to my questions. :) When you do create a video, I hope you will consider making some comments about how to deal with those "out of stock'" issues, how frequently that happens, and if you might have some advice (other than a personal assistant), in order to be more "hands off" or to have some way of managing expectations (the customer may expect immediate responses to complaints, immediate refunds, etc.). I don't see myself being in a position to hire a personal assistant, so this is an issue for me. (FYI: I sometimes live remotely, and sometimes go on long sailing voyages, for days or weeks at a time). So, because I am likely to be out of communication for days or week(s) (occasionally), I am worried that an Etsy shop may not work for me, or might cause problems with customer expectations not met (due to delays). Thanks for considering this. :)
@@steadmanuhlich6734 Unfortunately Etsy really likes you to reply quickly and if you go a week without answering someone, they may open a case against you and this can negatively affect your store. I would recommend selling png's or digital products on Etsy instead of starting a print on demand store on Merch by Amazon because there is no customer service for this!
@@CassiyJohnson OK. Thanks for your very good advice. I think I understand your tips above. With a couple of assumptions (on my part): 1. when you say "can negatively affect your store" I assume that means Etsy would cancel my account, or close my store, or put it in "limbo" so it would not be visible or easily found. 2. I have not considered selling digital products. It is such a different market, I am not sure if it is for me. Will have to think about it. :) 3. You mentioned Merch by Amazon, but am not clear what your comment means up above (I have not opened any POD store yet, and am not on Merch). I assume you are suggesting I sell there instead, because then Merch would handle all of the customer service issues (I would be out of the loop, I assume).
@@steadmanuhlich6734 1. I mean they may put your account "in reserves" where they keep some of the money of your sales until you ship them for the next 90 days. 2. Yes check out digital products, a lot less customer service for these ones. 3. Yes Merch By Amazon is amazons POD website and you don't do any customer service at all so for your situation it may be a good fit!
Another fabulous and informative video! Would love to learn more about tote bags! I was also checking out the spiral notebooks and journals and wondering if there’s anyway to make those profitable enough to be worth selling. Thanks!
I did a video about tote bags recently but then the canvas tote I reviewed got discontinued on Printify. But it is a good video that shows two versions of the All over Print tote bag. ua-cam.com/video/ubvboV3Stkw/v-deo.html I'll check out the notebooks at some point. Thanks for the comment!
I've noticed, for narrower designs, you can't move it all the way to the right or left, you've got to play with it a bit more to get it centered. I don't know if that makes sense. Love your review videos! It saves me from having to order a lot of samples for myself!
Hi Cassiy, Once again a very informative and professional review. This is helpful in choosing a product in the mug category. I have a few in my shop already but after seeing this a can confidently sell more mugs-rather a mug. I believe I need some assistance in a shop review at some point in the new future. Anyway, thank you for such great content as always.
This is really great help, thank you so much. I was wondering if you could do a video of what to do when you receive an personalized order, it might be photo or a text and how to send it to the customer. I don't understand the process. That will be very helpful, thanks
Great video about the 11, 15 oz mugs. Relatively, it is clear how to go about placing the design onto the template and previewing the result. The poster did not have to worry about the width, height, px etc. Because she gets the image from a clipart bank or repository. Now, how do you do if you have your own design painted or photographed by you. How and where do you do the resizing of the image. Can you do on your own software? or do you have to do that on Canva. ?
thank you so much for this Cassiy. this is exactly the review i was hoping to find. q for you: looks as if you always include shipping in your prices - at least for mugs?
Hey, Cassiy ! Thank you very much for your consistency with great video content!👍 But I wonder to know Would you like to add the same design to the same general store for shirts and mugs and tote bags or create another store dedicated to selling mugs?
Cassiy, Do you use the Mug template on Canva when creating your mug design? I didn't even realize they offered a mug template until this AM! I love your videos and your professionalism. I am in awe of how you started with Jerad and how quickly you have grown! I hope I can come close. I have a ton of designs but I am so slow at getting my listings active.
Hi Dee! No I just use the same designs that I already made for my t-shirts so I just do my same canva template size of 4500x5400 pixels. As long as the mug design still says its high quality once you are on Printify then you should be good! You can do this, just slowly get more efficient at designing and listing and you can get there in no time
Great video Cassiy! I’ve heard that some etsy sellers set up Express Shipping listings for when a customer who purchases and later asks for faster shipping. I wonder if you could show whole process as i’m sure other sellers would love to know also. Thanks!
You can create a manual listing that just say "express shipping" or "custom order" as the photo and have them purchase it at the same time. But not every print provider offers express shipping and some it's like $30 so I personally don't ever offer it. You still have to wait the few days for them to print it and sometimes there are delays with printify so I don't guarantee anything that is needed with less than 2 weeks out.
You’re just so thorough!! Can you offer a single mug (different colors) and a two-mug option in one listing? If so how? 😂 Otherwise, is it best to separate single from the two-mug option?
Hey Cassie, I was wondering how long it took you to get your first 100 sales? I’ve started my shop for a month now and was wondering what a reasonable time frame is before I start to think of a solution
Thank you for such a thorough video with real samples! Have you found it difficult to find mock-ups for the color handled mugs? I used to print my own 15oz coffee mugs for Etsy but the shipping costs got too high for me to continue.
I have a Canadian etsy shop and it is so difficult to make any money here....for a either the plain white ceramic mug or the colored interior the shipping in CDN for just 1 mug is $16.49....not including the cost of the mug, etsy fee's or any profit.....it is so frustrating.
A lot of sellers that live in Canada actually just sell only to the US to make things easier, then you can just use US print providers as well and even just ship to Canada when you get orders if you still want to offer shipping to Canada.
The enamel camping mugs aren’t ceramic, they’re stainless steel coated with enamel. Technically, yes, the enamel can be chipped off the metal, but the enamel mugs won’t break like ceramic ones will. I’ve watched so many of your videos, thanks for the great information!
Hey Cassidy! Thanks so much. I am just researching this POD space and your vid was very useful (i'll be watching more). Q How did you settle on Creative Fabrica for your images? There are a lot of options around, so was curious to know you decision process. Thankx
So Creative Fabrica is one of my favorites because you can get access to so many graphics and fonts for such a low price. Usually it's $19.99 but right now there are promotions they are offering after your $1 trial month for only $59/year! So for $5/month it's really a no brainer. Even at the $19.99 per month, it's just a good value. I use Canva graphics a lot since that's the software I use to design, and also buy some graphics from Creative Market but they are much more expensive.

I've been debating with adding mugs. This was exactly what I needed. Thank you for your tips!
So glad I could read your mind, enjoy the mugs, they are so much easier to list than t-shirts!
Hi Cassiy, thank you for the detailed information about the mugs and the price calculations :-) Your designs are lovely :-)
Thanks for commenting
Thanks Cassiy for showing the actual mugs, so beautiful. Also, lots of details useful to be inspired from.
So glad I could show you some fun examples!
Oh, I really loved the last mug! 😍 It was nice to see what packaging they arrived in.
So glad you liked them, they are all really cute and I can't wait to use them myself!
I've been wondering alllll these things you covered. If I have a question (newbie here) I always come to Cassiy!! Thank you❤
Thank you Cassiy for all the great information
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS SHARING THE LOVE HERE. REALLY APPRECIATED. YOU MOTIVATE ME...🙏
You are so so welcome, so glad you loved the video!!
This video came at the best time!! I was just debating adding mugs.
What perfect timing! Thanks for watching and I hope you have fun listing some mugs for sale!!
This was helpful beyond words. I’m truly grateful for this information.
So glad this was helpful for you!! Thanks so much for watching! ❤️
U really inspire me to start an Etsy digital business 😊❤I. Can’t wait to start 😊❤soon
I’m so glad my videos have been helpful for you!! Wishing you all the best!! ❤️
I watch one of her videos like everyday and I thought the same thing.... I feel like a total stalker.
Hi Cassiy! SO Happy I found you! You are AWESOME!!!! I love all your videos = Im binge watching them all today =))) Thank you so much....you're videos are all super helpful
Wow thanks Amy!! Welcome to my channel
I didn’t realize you could use the same png design that you use for tshirts and just put it on a mug. I thought it had to be a separate design (and made smaller) for a mug. This is a game changer!
So glad I could open that door for you, makes things sooo much easier!!
Hi this video is very helpful. I am trying to helped my daughter with her Etsy shop. I love mugs!! Thanks for sharing this video
Thank you so much Cassie-You are an Amazing Teacher!!!
Thank you so much, thanks for watching!!
absolutely incredible info! thank you so much
Thank you so much, Cassiy!
I ordered a pint glass as well and LOVE it! Will probably do a review on that really soon. So glad my videos were helpful for you Mary
@@CassiyJohnson I create designs based on shirts so does that matter as far as placing the same design on a mug?
Thank you for the advice. I’m really new and need to learn the ins and outs. Wonderful video
Sensational content, Cassiy! Thank you
So glad this video brought you some inspiration! Wishing you all the best with your business either way and thanks for watching
I've one shirts, stickers, mugs, but no sales :( I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.
How is your shop doing now
Girl! I have learned so much from you! Thank you for your content!
You are just amazing Cassey! Thank you so much for sharing
I really appreciate that, thank you for your kind comment!!
Thank you so much for your advice. It means a lot. You are such a selfless person. May God bless you with lots of sales😁 and happiness
another fantastic video - thanks for all the tips and recommendations, Cassiy 💖
You’ve convinced me to give it a go
I honestly love you! Always have the answers
Hey Cassiy! Thank you so much for all your videos. I have been binging watching over and over because you truly are humble and being so much value. I was wondering if you had any experience or can do a review on Printify notebooks, water bottles, and phone cases. Thanks!
I appreciate you for sharing this, excellent!
I am going to start reusing my designs today :) thank you for sharing :)
So glad I could give you a new fun project to work on! Always a good idea to reuse your designs, especially ones that have sold! Worth it to open a Merch By Amazon account as well and post the same stuff there!
Super helpful, totally worth watching!
Thank you so much!💛 this is very helpful. Im excited to add mugs to my shop
So glad you enjoyed it!
Adding mugs to my store!! Thanks!!
Yay, so glad I could help!!
the prices have increased DRAMATICALLY since this video. The accent mug is now 8.79 and 7.29 for shipping, that is with the discount if you join premium!
since the prices have increased DRAMATICALLY since this video, what would you you price both the color handle mug and the white ceramic mug?
appreciate for sharing this with us, excellent video
That’s fantastic, thanks for sharing!
Wow, fantastic video. Thanks a lot!
Yes it can be hard because they all mess up sometimes but I'm glad you gave them a second shot because I really love the way the color mug came out!
Love your channel Cassiy!!
Thank you so much Sandy!! Really appreciate your kind words and support
@@CassiyJohnson
I agree 100% with your answer.
So, Printify and bad suppliers out there, if you are listening to the excellent Cassandra's channel:
Get it together, already!
Hello! Thank you so much for all you do!! I do not see this white mug for my locker..
It looks like Mylocker is shadow banned on Printify right now for having some shipping issues so the mugs may be back in the future but are not available right now. I'd try the black handle mugs instead!
@@CassiyJohnson TY!!
I love your channel. It’s been incredibly helpful. We’re still learning and I try to implement most of your tips. Would love an evaluation on my store. My goal is achieve the success you were to, with of course realistic expectations. Thanks again still learning
YES! JUST WHAT I NEEDED, TY!!!
Hey how was your experience?
Cassiy, I am once again impressed by your obvious business smarts/savvy. I appreciate in this video how you covered the packing materials, some noticed flaws in one product, and how to use your spreadsheet calculator for profit and price setting. All of that is nicely demonstrated and very helpful, coming from your experience. :)
I do have a request.
When you do create a video, I hope you will consider making some comments about how to deal with those "out of stock'" issues, how frequently that happens, and if you might have some advice (other than a personal assistant), in order to be more "hands off" or to have some way of managing expectations (the customer may expect immediate responses to complaints, immediate refunds, etc.).
With a couple of assumptions (on my part):
1. when you say "can negatively affect your store" I assume that means Etsy would cancel my account, or close my store, or put it in "limbo" so it would not be visible or easily found.
2. I have not considered selling digital products. It is such a different market, I am not sure if it is for me. Will have to think about it. :)
Great video Cassiy, enamel mugs are in high demand right now. It is the camping season and many sellers get the most out of this opportunity.
Yes I hear they sell well, I'm sure it's not always a bad print with them!
Thanks for the comment!
ill definitely try that, thanks!
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing
I've noticed, for narrower designs, you can't move it all the way to the right or left, you've got to play with it a bit more to get it centered. I don't know if that makes sense. Love your review videos! It saves me from having to order a lot of samples for myself!
So glad you are enjoying my videos and it has been helping instead of having to order yourself some samples!
Great content, as always! I'm just at the starting point but excited to get to where you are! :)
Congrats on getting started!!
Hi Cassiy,
Once again a very informative and professional review. This is helpful in choosing a product in the mug category. I have a few in my shop already but after seeing this a can confidently sell more mugs-rather a mug.
I believe I need some assistance in a shop review at some point in the new future.
Anyway, thank you for such great content as always.
Hey Jeffrey! So glad this review could help you in your product selection. Happy to help with a shop review whenever you are ready!
THANKS A BUNCH, AMAZING VIDEO!!!
This is really great help, thank you so much. I was wondering if you could do a video of what to do when you receive an personalized order, it might be photo or a text and how to send it to the customer. I don't understand the process. That will be very helpful, thanks
Thank you so much for this video! Very informative.
Thanks for watching, so glad you found it helpful!
Another knockout video!
So you use Printify’s mock-up for your mugs? How many photos in each listing? Thank you 🙏
Yes I use the printify ones, and I just do the main image, and one of the front do you can tell there is a design on both sides!
Love the way you think!! ;) Great info.
Thanks Debbie, so glad my videos are helpful for you!!
very helpful, worth the watch
I see that My Locker is now a 6.1 printing score versus others at 9. I do love the Orca coating and have had no problems with My Locker.
Orca mugs are not pure white though, they're a bit gray which colours to be a bit dull.
Thank you, really helped me!
you just convinced me on doing it
thank you so much for this Cassiy. this is exactly the review i was hoping to find.
q for you: looks as if you always include shipping in your prices - at least for mugs?
Hey, Cassiy !
Thank you very much for your consistency with great video content!👍
But I wonder to know Would you like to add the same design to the same general store for shirts and mugs and tote bags or create another store dedicated to selling mugs?
I post the designs onto all items within the same store!!
@@CassiyJohnson Good to know. Thank you✌🏻
These videos are great and super informative !) thanks ❤
Great video. I'm following your recommendation on this one.
So glad it was helpful for you Karla!
I just use Printify's premade mockup that gets automatically posted to Etsy when you sync your listing for the mug!
Thanks Cassiy for a great video. I will like to know if I have to do a separate listing for the 11oz mug and if not, how do I list them together.
wow, great video. thanks so much
Thank you for the informative video. Wanted to do mugs with background colors other than white. Is there a best way to achieve that?
I have a Canadian etsy shop and it is so difficult to make any money here....for a either the plain white ceramic mug or the colored interior the shipping in CDN for just 1 mug is $16.49....not including the cost of the mug, etsy fee's or any profit.....it is so frustrating.
A lot of sellers that live in Canada actually just sell only to the US to make things easier, then you can just use US print providers as well and even just ship to Canada when you get orders if you still want to offer shipping to Canada.
HI Cassiy, I recently discover your channel and seriously Cassiy you are AMAZING . Where can I find the Etsy Profit Calculator please?
I am so glad you are enjoying my videos!! You can find my profit calculator at linktr.ee/Cassiy_johnson
Excellent clip 👏
Thank you so much!!
Good evening...do u have a video about the seo specifically for mugs and tote bags?
The enamel camping mugs aren’t ceramic, they’re stainless steel coated with enamel. Technically, yes, the enamel can be chipped off the metal, but the enamel mugs won’t break like ceramic ones will.
I’ve watched so many of your videos, thanks for the great information!
Thanks for the add!
Thank you for this!❤
You are so welcome, thanks for watching and commenting!!
AWESOME it really helped me
thats amazing, ty for sharing
