Thank you for really getting in to the nitty gritty of how it actually feels to use the 9 over time. It's so novel that I really want to know these details. Only thing more I want to know is how it fares in a sofa situation, in the lap on on the knees ? (you do mention how the typing in the lap feels, thnx)
Thank you! And I did use this on the sofa a fair bit - you can get away with it, but it's nowhere near as comfortable as typing on a traditional laptop.
Thanks for the review! I just got mine but I dont know how to use the black stand that comes with it. I know you can shape it into a triangle but I dont how to use it
You see my fold it open and closed a few times in this video, and in the unboxing video I did. Not sure if you can watch that a few times to see how I did it?
@@motivatedtravel yes I watched it in your unboxing video and know how to fold it but I dont know how to use it, is it for the keyboard? Tablet mode? When i use it those ways the keyboard or screens slip and I really dont know how to use it properly
@@CrescentMoonKid Got you. The case is to hold the laptop in only two modes: Vertical dual screen. Or landscape dual screen (one on top of the other). The keyboard sits not on the case, but just in front of it. It should magnetise into place.
It's really quiet, not sure much would have come through on camera that would have helped you decide one way or the other. As for worth the price. If you're going to use the hell out of the Dual Screen mode, then potentially. Other modes, no.
@@hutchjewelry4227 Oh I thought you mean sound of fans. Speakers are ok, not great but ok. All my thoughts are in the review on who I think will find value in this laptop.
Can we open 2 different microsoft word files in tent mode or even in stand mode at the same time? I need to type on 1 screen and others can read on another screen
Imagine you are on a crowded airport with no place to sit and you want to check something on your Notebook. HA HA HA! Who the hell came up with such a stupid idea? it is total non-practical.
Probably easier than a normal laptop as you can fold it out 360 degrees and use it like a tablet. "Normal" laptops are not well designed for use when you don't have a surface to rest them on. If they don't have a 180 hinge it's even more awkward.
Great video! Can't wait to stream more of your content.
Cheers! I really appreciate you letting me know.
I believe the newer version now ships with a small black folder pad on which you can rest the keyboard to adjust its angle.
Different from the pad in this video? Interesting, I will have to check that out. Thanks for the tip!

Do you think it’s good for financial reports or medium data sets
I didn't personally use it for this use case, but I suspect it will be fine. More likely going to have Excel issues before you have hardware issues.
Nice video. Perfect for trading. Viewing multiple time frames and charts.
Oh yeah, I imagine it would be great for that. And data entry.
Can you run OBS on it for screen recording, while doing something else on the other screen???
I would say yes, it basically behaves like a dual-screen setup.
I must be unfolding my laptop wrong! Where is the extra screen?
If you open it up into clam shape, it should be a screen both top and bottom if you hav ethe Yoga Book 9i?

Does this included eye tracker device? Like gaming laptop
No, I don't believe it does. I certainly didn't come across while using the device or in my research.
@@motivatedtravel thank for your honest answer
@@bluesunflower1698 Of course! No problems.

Yes, you can. It's effectively just like dual-screening.
@@motivatedtravel thx a lot for ur reply, I think I am gonna get 1 soon
Can u gimme shoutouts??
Cool vids dude.
Not a good laptop.
Tell us more about your experience. What don't you like?

Well, you'd just fold it out in laptop mode? Not as perfect as a laptop, but would still work.
