This is one of my favorite reviews of this curriculum. Thank you so much. I appreciate the flip throughs and showing the lengths of the chapters especially. ❤

What a great review and flip through! Your videos are so helpful. My 7th grader is working through From Adam to Us by Notgrass on her own. The layout is exactly the same as this one. We only do history twice a week so she is doing part 1 this year and part 2 next year. I love that you show in your videos how to make the curriculum work for your family’s needs. I think it could be easy to forget to adjust that and I think that is the key that can make or break a curriculum in some cases. Love all your videos, tips, and tricks. Keep them coming!❤

Thank you, Amanda! So glad the flip through was helpful 💕
I agree with you about the freedom of adjusting curriculum to meet the needs of our family. It makes a world of difference!
      🙏🏽💛😊🌻

I plan to homeschool two of our three sons next school year. It will be our first year ever! This is the history curriculum that I chose for my son who will be in 7th grade. I appreciate the flip through! I received ours yesterday in the mail and was trying to decide wether or not to have my son who will be in 4th grade listen in on this, and I think I will. Thank you!

Hi Ley W! So glad the flip through was helpful. This has been our first year using the curriculum and we have definitely enjoyed it.
It has worked great for our 8th & 6th graders.
There have been some lessons that have been a bit above our 4th grader so I will definitely be repeating this course with him when he is in the 8th grade. He is, however, getting a great intro into US Civics & is continuing to learn about the US Presidents & States with the Dover Coloring Books I mentioned in the video.
We wish you the best on your homeschool journey! 😊

I have a 5th and 6th grader; would you still recommend this curriculum after completing it with your kids?

This was a wonderful flip thru! Thanks. Curious (only my second your homeschooling), but will you go through this again when your younger two hit 8th grade? Or maybe just your 4th grader since he is so young now?
Not sure how I make sure my younger one gets things at their level when her time comes. 😅

Hi! I am so glad the flip through was helpful! :-)
Yes, I plan on doing this again when my 4th grader is in 8th grade. Although, I know he is grasping a lot this year, I know he will be able to have a more in depth understanding when he is older.
(My 6th Grader is grasping everything very well so I don't plan on doing it again with him).

can this be used for high school? Our state requires 1/2 credit of US Goverment.

      Hello Cintia!
This course was designed for middle school level (5th-8th grade) but I am sure if you decided to use it and beefed it up a bit with some additional work/assignments it could work for high school level.
I did want to share that Notgrass has a high school level US Government (1/2 credit) course that you might want to look into as well. notgrasshistory.com/collections/exploring-government
I have not used the course yet, but it is what we plan to use to cover our High School US Government credit when the time comes.
