By using the Textured LED Ring, you can dispense different types of water, all from the same tap. (Boiling water cannot be dispensed when pulling out the hose)
    1. Boiling Water: Press-Press-Turn (LED ring lights red)
    2. Sparkling Water: Press-Turn (LED ring flashes blue)
    3. Filtered Water: Press-Wait-Turn (LED ring lights blue)
Sparkling & filtered water are both dispensed chilled, direct from the Quooker Cube’s cooler reservoir. The operation of the Texture LED Ring is the same for all Quooker taps, as is the operation of the mixer handle, which dispenses & mixes hot & cold water.

I've had my quooker tap in for just under two years and have replaced the Scale control plus filter about three times at just under €100 each time, now that its looking for its fourth change I find that they no longer make or sell the scale control filter plus and have to upgrade to a new filter that cost €300 and most likely require a plumber to install it for the initial installation, don't be fooled into thinking this tap will save you money although it a convenient way of making your cup of tea it's also a very expensive way and once installed you are under the mercy of the company who can change components whenever they like and charge whatever they like because they know they have you. My advice is buy a kettle.

the pushing option is getting harder, it is getting difficult to make it work, how can you clean/maintain it?

Boiling a kettle on a 110 amp system as opposed to the 240 amp system that we use would probably take forever. Quooker type taps (faucets) are becoming more popular and cheaper in the U.K. especially with kitchen makeovers, they dispense hot, cold or boiling water, some even dispense chilled sparkling water. There are several videos on UA-cam.

Volts. And you can get a 220v/240v outlet in the US easily - the electrician will just combine two half phases to make a full phase, it's the same system really.

I have just installed one. Doesn’t come with any instructions and didn’t work properly. Left the customer to call out a engineer. Not good enough for £700!

They’re rubbish - I have one… The boiling water spits out and splashes everywhere and burns you, the cold water filtered setting comes out as soon as activated but does not turn off when you push the lever back to the off position you have to untwist the knurled bezel or you’ll have your tap dribbling water for hours.

You plan on holding down the control with one hand while attempting to wash your other hand by itself with sparkling water?

you haven't a clue! water only boils at 100 degrees at sea level! The boiling point of a liquid varies depending upon the surrounding environmental pressure. ... For example, water boils at 100 °C (212 °F) at sea level, but at 93.4 °C (200.1 °F) at 1,905 metres (6,250 ft) altitude. For a given pressure, different liquids will boil at different temperatures.

And impurities in the water also cause it to boil at under 100°C

The minimum specified water pressure for this product is 2 bar. At 2bar water will boil at 120c. There will be no difficulty maintaining 100c without it boiling. It will then boil at the moment you open the tap and release the pressurised water to approx 1bar atmospheric pressure. I would say this product is more than capable of doing exactly what it says it will do.

Normal taps turn or pull in different directions for hot and cold water, taking two or three trys to get what desired. These things need giant red button that dials 911! will Never attempt to use in my home or anywhere else.

As far as I can make out, Quooker seem to be a bunch of liars. I will buy from a more reputable manufacturer.
