@@danielryan300you mad bro?
I'm a middle-aged woman, I can't read notes, nor play any instrument... but music has always meant a lot to me. This year, I made a resolution to fulfill some wishes I had as a child. One of them was to be able to play 'Für Elise.' I am so glad and grateful to have found such a wonderful teacher here on UA-cam! I learned the first part in no time and I am looking forward to the next lessons. Thanks again, you have made me very happy! ;) (Better I don't think about Part 4 yet...😰)
i cant play even play part 3 with both hands on 0.25x speed😢 But after 4 DAYS I CAN PLAY THE WHOLE PIECE 🎉
Woww
Wish I had time to set aside like that!
SAME
I did part 4 too
How did you manage to get over being distracted by what your other hand is doing? i keep tensing up whenever my other hand is playing something
Thanks a lot! I’m soon to be 61 and my daughters bought me a nice keyboard for my 60th and I’m learning this song and I needed some instruction on certain parts of it. Thanks for your expertise!
Thanks for a whole 30min video breaking it down! doing some great work by supporting newcomers to piano, truly inspiring 😁
havent ever had 1 lesson on piano in my life.. only ever messed with chords.... now im playing fur elise? well done sir
Hi as your message is 5 months ago, and I take it you are a beginner like myself, what sort of speed have you been able to get at playing this, as I'm finding the finger movements so difficult? Thanks.
@@gaskellr44u should first memorize the finger movements slowly then go progressively faster
Hi, I was thinking along the same lines, but thanks for your advice. What sort of level are you please? i.e. are you a beginner, who has slowly speeded up playing it? Would you think it is possible for a beginner to get to play it at the normal speed over a period of time?@@VANZ_SBG
@@VANZ_SBG Thanks for replying. Are you saying, make sure you get all finger movements correct at a slow speed and then slowly increase the speed so that it will start to sound like the person doing the video, speedwise?
@@gaskellr44 Yes as long as you can do the finger movements properly like in the video you would have no trouble playing it faster
You teach so nicely. I am a beginner. I tried many videos in YT. Your teaching helped me the best. God bless you for what you do.
This tutorial changed my life, I cannot thank you enough.
You are one heck of a teacher. This is the only video on YT which could help me play part 3. Keep posting more tutorials man 👍🏻
same here
As a pianist this is an absolute W
This was so helpful I struggled a bit on part 3 a bit but I finally got it right
me to
but I got though it 🎹🎼🎵
I came to this video looking to learn the third part. I was able to learn the right hand in TWO DAYS. I still am terrible at the left hand after two months, but I know practice makes perfect! Thank you for this amazing tutorial!
Good job
Thank you! I could watch and listen to you all day. I am a 68 years old female learning piano for the first time. You are the best teacher ever!!!
You don’t know how much this means to me, thank you so much! I’ve been practicing the piano 🎹 for 4 months now. I’m not going to lie, it’s harder than I thought it would be because it’s a lot of information. However I know one day I will improve. Thank you! 🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A very good teacher.. this is how a piano tutorial should be.. thankyou
Yes😊
This is what i need, i have problem with timing right hand chord and left hand chord, thanks bro !
Fun fact: Beethoven wrote this song for Elise, a girl he was teaching who he fancied, hence the name Für Elise. At first, it was just Part 1 and 2 of this video. But when he asked Elise out, she rejected him. So to get revenge, the song he made for her, he added the difficult part (part 3 of this video) to make it impossible for her to learn the whole song as she was still a beginner. Thats why the beginning is easy, and the end is difficult!
How do you steal this comment and then live with yourself?
@@CK-cj1ll I didnt steal the comment. It may be similar to other comments as it is a FUN FACT, but I spent the time typing all this out, recalling the details as I went. I’m sorry for wanting to spread cool info, I won’t do it anymore, just for you… NOT. So before you go accusing me of stealing a comment, think about it: did they really steal the comment? How would I know for sure? Also, sorry if I sound rude, I really am sorry. Im just tired of people accusing me of things I didn’t even do. Thanks for that. 🤦
@@CynicalCyanYT ok bud, all good.
@@CynicalCyanYT Is it really facts though?
@@CK-cj1ll I mean, its more of a story, but yeah. It kind of is. I feel bad for the way I stated that. Sorry, Ive been really stressed out because of finals week and shit. But my point still stands though too that not everyone tries to steal someone’s comment.
OMG!! I had no idea there was more after all the E's, glad I found you on here. I thought I was happening finally learning to play a song on the piano I've only had for 2 months. To find out I did not even learn half is such a disappointment. 😢 thank you for taking the time, now I'll learn it.
The best piano theacher i have seen
One of the best tutorial in the world. The way you break it down is just legendary, just like the song
This is a great breakdown. Thank you for your work, this is incredible! 👏 🎹
Thank you so much 💗 now I can play the first part of the song
Dude, you are like AMAZING!! You taught me how to play my first few songs. Please, keep posting videos.
I totally agree with some of the comments below as this is by far, the BEST piano tutorial of FUR ELISE I have seen and watched. I have learned this piece when I was in my teens back in the Philippines but did not get to finish it coz I then went to college and my piano teacher moved to the US at that time.. I went to relearn it again but I could not do the part 3 the way u were playing it. I mean, the perfect tempo, speed and the proper hand position and execution. Now that I am 52 I gifted myself a very nice Yamaha P515 and trying to play all my fave classical tunes. Thanks for this beautiful rendition and tutorial and excellent expression of this popular piece! I truly appreciate and I got so inspired and encouraged that it's still never too late for me to play this tune again. You made this so easy to play when it's not. Kudos to ur channel :}
Alright imma take up this challenge. Trying to learn it in 7 days (atleast in a slower tempo)
I'll keep updating do support me.
*Day 1:* I did only 2 parts in normal speed
*Day 2:* I practiced the first and seconds parts in a faster tempo (at 2x)
I started the 3rd part. I could learn both hands BUT can only play separately (I could perfect them separately at 2x speed it's hard to play together)
😨😨😨
Keep updating
Les go
Will HDpiano do another complete tutorials?
Thank you so much for helping me finish the song! Your amazing!
Great tutorial, thanks for the tips with the fingers as well! But does anyone have some tips of the left hand? I can't seem to get the hand of it (lol)
This channel is so underrated, you've just gained a subscriber!
Great lesson! I really appreciate your kindness, your time and your teaching!
Thank you. I've been waiting for the full tutorial.
i love this video, I was struggling on part 3 because I had a piano concert but i finished just in time thanks to you!
Yoooo this is insane thanks for the help! I will use this for my 6th grade talent show!
I didnt know this song was this easy
Thank you
Thank you so much for the full lesson on YT!
Thank you so much! I just started playing piano today and I have already gotten through the first part and have sent a video of me playing to my friends and family and they said it was fantastic. Again, I cannot thank you enough for this amazing tutorial and I will make sure to watch some of your others very soon!
I finally learnt how to play fur elise on piano
Bro its spring break and my sis suggested i learn fur elise and i just started and i kinda think i look like a pro🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for taking the time to instruct new players. One of the things I find is often forgotten is how to pedal-went to press and when to lift. Professionals play differently, and I guess it’s a preference that one would have over the other. For instance, I believe Ashkenazy lifts the pedal as he reaches the top of the octave run and Capova holds until one gets to the last three E/Eb. I still don’t know which one I like better so I guess it’ll be on whim as I playing it.
Again, thanks.
A few months later im determined and its nearly summer break and i have finished it, thank you so much hdpiano!
Cannot thank you enough for this fantastic tutorial, as a beginner with time and patience I'm sure I'll get there.
I don’t get tired to watch this tutorial…. One of my favorite!
i am playing fur elise in a school party and i am playing a solo and the music teacher keeps shouting at me even if i get one note wrong so this was fun relaxing and i am done so thank u so much

"Thanks to Dan! I'm 50 years old and just started playing the piano since October last year. I'm learning every day with tutorials on UA-cam. I got stuck in parts 3-4, so I took some rest and learned 'My Way,' 'Ballade,' and 'River Flows in You.' Now, I'm back to these parts, and I'll be done soon. 😊😊😊" you get More views from me it about 100 times a day
