Scotland has to try out summer football, ( we have virtually nothing to lose, we can always go back ) would equip us better for Europe .. but more importantly would encourage more " PASSING" / control the ball, in all our leagues which would produce better quality players. Rather than our long ball approach, which most teams in Scot deploy. . Look at Scandanavia they play summer football, this encourages style of play ( cant just run around like headless chicken when heat is introduced ) This winter style football we play in Scotland is prehistoric !! It needs an overhaul with a whole new approach, which almost forces clubs / teams to change.., How long will we stick our heads in the sand & blame everyone else. Summer football also might help with TV revenue / sponsors etc as large section of the season you are not competing with English Leagues .
