Yes - Jennifer was a dancer first. She was a Fly Girl on In Living Color and then auditioned to be a dancer during Janet's Janet. album era. But shortly after this video she got a role on a short-lived TV show called South Central and the film Mi Familia. So she ended up not doing any other Janet videos or the tour that she was supposed to do.
And the rest is history...

Yes Jennifer Lopez was unknown and started out as a dancer who worked for Janet Jackson as a back up dancer but she didn't stayed long she left to be on a show that didn't last long and then she became a dancer with Rosie Perez on the show In Living Color but we all know Jennifer playing Selena is what skyrocket her career but she always say Janet is a huge inspiration on her music and said Pleasure Principle is her favorite video of all time which you guys reacted to already.
