Ok, I made a first quick test and yes, doesn't look so bad. ;) I´ll dive a little bit deeper the next days to test it. So far I think it's as you said: It doesn't replace individual retouch work, but can make a solid job if you have a bunch of images that needs good retouch but not absolute perfection.
That app was giving results that were way better and faster than I was expecting. I can already imagine how much time it would save me for light retouching. Thanks for this demo and also for taking the ‘first time user’ approach. Out of interest, did the background replacement options include a green screen or similar?
You can change the background to any color you like, and you can completely mask out the background as well. There are also options like sky replacement which I am going to test soon.
This has saved me on a recent client shoot that I was slacking on the edit because it would've taking a week to finish. I used Evoto and got er done in 2 days. Thanks for this find. I wish they had a less expensive plan just to use the face editing.
FOR THE 30 EXTRA CREDITS: Evoto has to manually add them to your account, which they will track from the sign up link, so they may take a day to show up in your account. Cheers!
I could see it being used as a starting point and then using your eye, taste and skill to finish and do the major work. But the pricing model isn't something I would care to invest in. Buying credits that get consumed every time you use it is worse than Adobe's subscription plans.
Hello! I am always grateful for your videos! I am in the process of preparing similar equipment, starting with Godox ad600pro. By the way, the watch is also cool! Can you tell me the model name or brand of the watch worn in this video? I would really appreciate it if you could tell me the model name of the Diver watch in the recent video. I hope you always take care of your health and good luck! thank you!!
@@devaulrgI didn't either, then found out this video is 11 months old so I assumed they were expired. Hope I still get them in a day or two to play with.
Looks pretty good. One thing I look for in ai, is how it handles permanent blemishes ( moles, etc ). I seldom use blemish removal in Luminar Neo because of this. I wish there was a way to protect something or recover it after “healed”. Have you noticed how this software handles this? Thanks.
It still gets rid of more than I would like when it comes to things like moles, haven’t figured out a way to save those using this type of software yet.
You could also take this version in Ps and use a mask to paint the moles back in with the original or the unedited moles layer on top. It would still save you time in the end if you are used to complete retouching in Ps.
Nathan, I believe the image edits made with Evoto AI appear significantly more refined and realistic compared to those produced by Retouch4Me. What's your opinion on this?
Retouch4Me Heal works way better. I just compared them both. Sure, Retouch4Me Tools are much more expensive on the first sight, but you can use them as an automated plugin for Photoshop (its doing masks, if you want).
Is this some kind of test joke? Using studio (almost) flawless photos of (almost) flawless model to test retouching software? Why didn't you use an imperfect model photographed outside in the wind? Then see how the retouching handles about masking the background...
I don't know how you missed it but I can see enough differences in the Before/After to see what the software does. There's a free trial too, so maybe you can use a shot with an imperfect model photographed outside in the wind to see if it can handle the masking in the background.

Totally. It’s an interesting tool that will likely get better over time as the software gets updated.
Damn! AI is stepping up on the retouching. This will save a bunch of time. Thanks Nathan 😎👌🏾
Totally. It’ll be interesting to see where it’s at in the next couple of years.

I didnt see the options to the pricing scale you had in this video. The lowest price was $80

This is a game changer. Did not get the 30 credits, just the 5. Thank you for creating this video!

Amazing! Thank you for making this video. this is definitely a game changer!
Glad it was helpful!

thats pretty AI i think ill give it a try too, i have some work but looks amazing, esp time saving to, thanks Nathan great vid
Thanks for checking it out!

It's actually a field watch from Nezumi: www.nezumistudios.com/product/corbeau-ref-cq3-202/
@@NathanElson Thanks a lot!!
FWIW, I didn't get any extra credits using that link to download the software.
I'll reach out and ask about it.
@@NathanElson Yes the extra credits did not work

Unfortunately, I didn't get any bonus credits.
Thanks for the video though. It looks very interesting. I am looking forward to trying it out
Curious, my retoucher charges me 50 Euro + 19% VAT per picture magazine print ready. She is damned good!
I'm not sure if there was a question in there somewhere?
Are you sure that AI can achieve the accuracy of human retouchers?
Evato or Retouch4Me Nathan?
I like to give my subjects all the shots from the shoot- this would speed them up hugely
Definitely. Spend a little time creating a preset and voila, batch it across all the rest of the images.

We can now manually restore the moles want to keep, and the function of freckle protection is under development

Disagree mate Retouch4me is just next level i have it Evoto doesn't even come close
Muchas gracias.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Oh, look like amazing software. But I have to get the software to stop crashing on me. Hopefully, I can get it going, so I can play around with it.
Bizarre. It hasn’t crashed on me once yet. Hopefully you can sort it out!
@@NathanElson Got it going and have a one-year. Thanks
Hows the Capture one Grading into Evoto AI for Retouching only Workflow ??
It works. C1 is a better app for grading, but Evoto is a better app for retouching.
your screen text is too small to read
I’ve been using inconsistent light. 😂
😉
how do i get the 30 credits

Because that’s not the type of work I shoot.

You and Nathan are not the same. LOL
The real world test would be for you to test out the software on the models/clients that you shoot and then you can decide if would work for you.
Doesn’t work well
Backgrounds look extremely fake
The software is good but the pricing is stupid! Credits! Wth is that! Dumb company for charging such way...
