They mean the slang of each region is different. Just like some words in english may vary in the u.s., england, australia, india, ireland, which is like five countrys. But spanish speaking countrys are like 30...
Nahhh, we understand perfectly each other, if there's some slang just ask and learn it. Indeed it usually ends up in a happy time laughing and realizing of the different meanings of a word in each region but there won't be any problem. Additionally, nowadays there's a lot of Spanish-speaking UA-camrs, and the Internet by itself allows us to be more in contact with each other which is useful to maintain uniformity in most of our language but also the diversity that makes it so special .... Greetings from Colombia
Hahsh yeah Is kinda complicated to talk to each other without messing it up a little bit, but we got used to some slangs of some countries so it's easier. What we do to talk to each other online would be: 1: ask were does the person comes from so we don't say something that can be harmful for the other in their slang. 2: If they don't know each other slang so well, we use neutral Spanish like the one that appears only in TV which is the one that it's used for dubbed movies only (it's not used in any county) 3: we explain the slang or use a dictionary in order to understand each other.
Sorry if My English Not Very Good 🇺🇸: What happenned or wtf? 🇪🇸: ¿Qué leches o qué cojones? (wtf or What Milks [yes , that is the traduction but in Spain makes sense]) 🇲🇽: ¿Qué pedo? (What Fart [in mexico Fart/Pedo means like Problem , Thing , Fart so if they say: Que pedo Con tígo / What fart with u they are saying whats the problem with u) 🇬🇹🇸🇻: ¿Qué púchicas? or ¿que pue? (What Happened? , is almost like "que putas" but no [what happened but Insult]) 🇨🇱: ¿Que Pasa po weon Culiao? (So What Happened u idiot? [in chile there are a lot of insults , and i think they are cool , they have Weon , Culiao , Concha , Flaites o Huevón]) 🇵🇪: ¿Que fue pe? (What Happened?) 🇦🇷: ¿Que pasa pa? (What Happened , this way is usually happy) (Wow in Argentina , El Salvador , Chile , Guatemala and Perú they say pa , pe , pue and po in the same sign) Acá en los países latinos hay insultos también y aunque yo no los díga conozco varios xd

No solo el pais pues dentro de cada pais ahy dialector totalmentes diferente x ejemplo Venezuela
No es por eso, es un idioma complejo. Conjugaciones, tiempos diferentes, palabras con múltiples significados, más allá de los modismos de cada región.
Don't worry, in latinamerica, is the same. They teach us in english "this is the door, this is the pencil, the house..." same happen there.
