Thyme Warp works very well with Bombard-Mint plants. Since the zombies will spawn in the same tile clumped up together, you can easily hit all of them with splash damage.
I used this strat plenty of times with Cherry Bomb in NMT. Too bad it's restricted to the world it was introduced in.
Also don't zombies with armor keep it removed if it was

I dunno I think draftodil does blockers job better in every way,it has a better chance of actually hitting the zombies knocked back by other plants plus it costs only 50 more sun,my personal top 3 are Olive pit,Draftodil,and stunion. Over all good list tho!

Blover I feel is at the top just because it works well with other plants. Yea that is a quality of other plants but rankings should also be based on how plants can handle zombies alone. Draftodil does a lot of things Blover does and Draftodil is a permanent plant that can continusly attack. Olive Pit also deserves credit because it is basically an instant kill that stalls

What? As far as I know,the sap never hurted the zombies,it just had an unique colour when a zombie walk through it,but it never damaged zombies.

Just let's you place on water. Great for one world, and excellent for baiting gargd in BwB, but is world exclusive.

Just removes graves. Explodes at higher levels, but basically limited to only two worlds so not very worth it.
13th: Buttercup
What even is this plant. It is a defensive plant, in the vein of Wall nut, but does damage in exchange for having less health than celery stalker. Not that great as a staller. Primal nut or stallia are way better.
12th: Spring Bean
You would think a plant designed around a very niche gimmic would be decent, but no. Only flings one zombie at a time before resting for what feels like forever. It's plantfood is ok, but other plants do its job way better. Even when Spring Bean pf + Blover existed, DD did as well, so if you were actually good at the game, you wouldn't even get an opportunity to use it. Tbh only above Buttercup bc it could carry people who were bad at the game back then.
11th: Draftodil
A worse version of an okay plant. Does pitiful damage as an attacking plant, including its pf. It has a decent gimmic, being it is practically a permanent hurricale, but if you need a permanent hurricale, you need an actual good defense.
10th: Dazey Chain
A better version of Draftodil. Better damage, and constantly slows the lane. Pf does what the plant class is meant for, stalling, and it does it pretty well. The attack itself is still pretty weak, and this plant is pretty pointless, but at least it can be good.
9th: Magnet Shroom
I love this plant. Sadly it isn't very good considering pvz2 zombie spam.
It simply removes metal objects from zombies, and it's pf is removing all metal objects on screen. Good plant, but too many zombies in most levels to be functional without mass leveling.
8th: Stunion
Iceberg with a bigger radius. It has conjunction with fire plants too, making it even better. Pf sucks, and the poison is ok, but the stalling aspect itself makes it great.
7th: Hurricane
Simply chills and moves all zombies back. Very effective plant that can even kill flyers as a bonus.
6th: Blover
There is really too much hype around this plant. Killing all flying zombies is... a pretty bad deal for 50 sun, considering primal mine exists, which just kills everything. Only really good in arena, and even then only with a few very specific plants. In adventure, this plant is worthless.
5th: Contain-mint
Freezes most zombies in place, and makes Contain-mint plants stronger. Pretty good.
4th: Thyme Warp
For a world exclusive plant, this plant is amazing. Even if it heals zombies, you can maximize the effectiveness of explosive/splash plants or plantfoods, or even just use it in a pinch. He is crazy strong, and apparently will be allowed in all worlds and levelable in an update or 2, according to dataminers, which makes him even better.
3rd: Olive Pit
Eats and slows zombies. A simple plant, but a very good one.
2nd: Sap-Fling
Permanent slow for all grounded zombies. The fact it does no damage makes him even better. Only real downside are flying zombies(ironic) and BwB water, but besides that easily one of the best plants.
1st: Stallia
Easily the best plant on this list. Slows down all zombies in an area, and knocks back when leveled. The knockback is mainly a bonus, as Stallia possibly slowing down 3 entire lanes when placed in a good spot is amazing by itself. Plantfood just slows the entire board, which could be better, but is fine enough as is.

I think they try to bring similiar plants, like powered murkadamia nut, explode o nut, hot date, electrici-tea which needs to be eaten to give more damage.

This mint family i think is the weirdest one for me. I think it mainly composes of those plants that contain zombies or contain plants? Because lilypad and I also don't really get what the family is about. They are prolly just the slow and annoy zombies plant family

My list(Only plants I have and excluding lily pad)
7- Spring bean: Kinda underrated in my opinion but still bad
6-Magnet shroom: can't say I have really ever used this. I very rarely use this plant
5- Grave buster: Can be used in 3 worlds and is not required so it counts. Grave buster is good in ancient Egypt, good in dark ages, and good in modern day. The other's are just better though
4-Blover: If i had reinforcemint than obviously would be 1st, however I don't have reinforcemint so it's 4th place
3- Stallia: Better than iceberg lettuce mostly however not better than stunion
2- Thyme warp: Chaos unfolds? Use a thyme warp and every zombie get's sent to the beginning. If it didn't heal zombies then it would be 1st place
1- Stunion: You could switch these 4 plants if you want to but I think Stunion is the best. Very close though with thyme warp.

13. Sapfling (well... I don't need to explain, but I am against the hate of it, it still has it's uses)
12. Thyme Warp (I don't mind the healing, as you can just put them all together and kill them easily, but obviously it can only be used in it's world, so yeah)
11. Spring Bean (It's OP in Pirate Seas, but completely useless in other worlds, BUT at max level it can stall a zombie forever, only 1 unfortunely)
10. Dazey Chain (don kill me pls, there is just no reason to use it instead of anything else, it's OBVIOUSLY not bad at all, but why would you pick this and bother to unlock it?)
9. Stallia (a pretty useful plant, but not much else, tho it's ability to push back at lvl 5 is great)
8. Stunnion (Same as stallia, there is little reason to use it at a low level, but at lvl 5, it also poison zombies, which is REALLY useful)
7. Hurrikale (it's simple: it pushes back a lane of zombies, it only does that, but it's good at what it does and pretty useful, not much else)
6. Contain-mint (it's initial ability is not great, but, as you can guess, it unlocks the special abilities of some plants (Stallia, Stunnion and Grave Buster) the familiy is not great, but it's pretty decent)
5. Magnet-shroom (this plant is a life-saver, even tho i have all the premium plants, I used it to beat almost all adventure mode (after unlocking it, duh)
4. Buttercup (it's doesn't stand out, but it is a great plant, they only cost 25, so you can spam a bunch of these and stall tons of zombies, it also does great damage and the plant food is OP)
3. Olive Pit (not much to say, they did good with this one)
2. Draftodil (also good at what it does, especially when combined with shrinking violet PF, it can insta-kill any zombie, which also makes up for the low damage)
1. Blover (pretty obvious, right? the combos are CRAZY, the best being with primal peashotter, stallia lvl5 and ESPECIALLY reinforce-mint)

Hurrikale Was Supposed To Be A Part Of Winter-Mint Family Not Contain-mint Family Because It Chills Zombies
Hurrikale is a contain mint family because contain mint in the seed slot collection content says it boost slowing plants and hurrikale is a slowing plant.
BTW some contain mint family like stallia, grave buster, stunion, draftodil and olive pit have a unique and some hidden secret abilities:
1. Stallia can knockdown zombies like spring bean with a slowing effect when it reach a higher level
2. Grave buster can explode and damage zombies like a potato mine when it reach a higher level
3. Stunion can poison zombies when it reach a higher level
4. Draftodil can shoot, stun, blow away flying zombies like primal pea and blover combined
5. Olive pit leaves a slowing puddle and eat zombies like chomper
And lasty but not leasty
6. Hurrikale can push zombies like chomper's plant food with a chilly effect

his ability is to rewind time, which is associated to contain-mint family, it is stated in wiki fandom as well

something you fail to realize with Sap-Fling is that it can slow down every zombie in a lane as they all start to clump up together, have you even paired it with any chain or splash plants? Its not built for damage, its built for support.
I never mention every plants initial ability, example all bombardmint plants initial ability is to explode, but explode o vine has another ability, to knockback. With sap fling, he was meant and made to slow zombie, thts the only ability he has, so i dont bother to mention his basic ability anymore
