The USB lithium cutter is in my top three too using it almost daily to cut up boxes that go into the recycle bin. I receive packages pretty much on a daily basis.
I must say that Ryobi inflator has definitely been put to work at my house and shop on the daily. I don't ask it to get crazy and inflate entire tires but it does great for the small top offs and pressure maintenance. I have a 30 gallons compressor for big jobs. We race and I've used this to check pressure on our Ultra4 car before we leave race line. Very accurate gauge. Reads in half PSI increments. I've also used it to inflate my air mattress when out camping. Works great. I'm sure it won't last forever but for a cordless inflator that works with all my Ryobi battery stuff this thing is awesome. I do wish they'd make a better one that can actually deflate a pressurized tire. The deflator part only works for the air mattress deflate part which is just the inflator hooked up backwards.
I use ryobi because the batteries are great for my homemade tools, so i feel zero shame using my green impact or anything else green generally but if I have to cringe at another ad like this I might start painting them black or something.
@@ClintBaxley That's super sad, I hope mine lives long cause I haven't even remotely gotten the value out of it. It is a great item though, a lot of features. I realize for many people with pneumatic tools ect, that volume of air matters a lot. For my purposes, I just need the right amount of pressure and mobility. The speed at which it happens isn't nearly as critical.
I have a smaller hand held ryobi drill style compressor for quick tops ups of my trike tyres , i also have the bigger one , not sure if it is the same as yours , but it has the programmed pressure . one of the things i love about ryobi , they are always adding new tools to the list .
Its job isn't done better by a utility knife. It's more like power shears and will cut thick cardboard and carpet tile with ease. Cutting carpet tile takes at least 2 or 3 strokes of the knife. This thing is done in 1.
you shouldn't need a tire inflator "all the time" unless you have a business built around tires, which then you shouldn't be using Ryobi inflators in the first place...
We run a triathlon for the city every year and we use this exact inflator. for simple bike tires this ryobi inflator is amazing one 4ah battery lasted all day airing up tires I brought extra batteries and never needed them.
None of these tools look like they've ever been used. That being said I will tell you that their dual power fan is just about the best thing since sliced bread, run it on your tool batteries or plug it in with an extension cord ( unlike the MILWAUKEE that uses a special power adapter cord ). I've had mine over 2 years at this point and don't know how I lived without it before. I've dropped it so many times and it just keeps going, I cant tell you how many hours I've used it. Probably over 100.
@@jksnaxInteresting, what tools of theirs have broken on you? I've been using Ryobi since 2005 as an above avg DIYer and PT auto detailer and only a couple died. 1) pressure washer that lasted 8 yrs with countless car washes and 2) 18v blower from 2005-6. I have two 40v blowers that I use for drying cars and blowing leaves, they are work horses.
I use the inflator to pump up a15' kaboat and it's awesome. It also deflates. Can inflate and deflate it twice with a single 4ah battery. Works great on paddle boards too
Haven’t used the first two tools but the inflator is perfect to have around when the low tire pressure warning comes on the dashboard. Beats going to the gas station by leaps and bounds!!! However, I prefer Rye-obi, NOT Ree-obi because I don’t eat a ham and swiss on ree bread, I choose rye instead!! LoL
its a japanese word, ree-obi is actually correct! for evidence, the Ryobi youtube page even pronounces it "ree-obi". as to your comment, the inflator is a life saver!
You use a tire inflator " All the time". Might want to remove that nail fromyour tire. As for the cutter, scissors and solid set of shear scissors are available at one tenth the price.. and don't require rechargeable batteries that likely cost $50+ and die within a year. 😅
The cutter caught my eye as cardboard boxes are quite common in my household. Disposing of big boxes can be daunting, but I use my oscillating tool to cut them up. There is no need for that toy he showed. At least not for me. Although it might work well for older people or people with disabilities. I digress, it is a paid advertisement.
@@BLUELEADER78you use an oscillating cutter to do the job. Some of us use the cutter to do it. Its a pair of power shears basically, no fighting with materials and it slices through carpet tiles in one go, in seconds.
I have a Ryobi saw I plug in to an outlet connected to motion sensors on my lot and hang it off the wall. So when people walk by, you can hear it like someone is working there. It goes off ALL night every night for 2+ years. Even the trees swaying, or bush swaying makes it go off. It's gotta be on for over an hour every night. Still going strong....
I'd use that glue gun for hemming pants, curtains etc. and the cutter would come in handy since scissors don't work well when your hands are messed up.
This is exactly what I thought a ryobi owner looked like and sounded like. I bet after half a white claw he starts telling his construction brother-in-law ryobi is just as good if not better than Dewalt and Milwaukee.
This is a guy that wouldn’t know how to use a ratchet and would call it a wrench…. Your wife keeps your man card in her boyfriend’s wallet doesn’t she?
RYobi needs better batteries. When I half of my 8 batteries don’t work and they are less than half a decade old vs my original dewaults from 2002 it bothers me. Nevermind I’ll just order the adapter.
I here people knock Ryobi tools but I just had a good friend give me the Ryobi RTS table saw and I love it!!! Sure, there are better tools out there and I have no problem with that but Ryobi is a decent, affordable brand. And yes it has its quirks like everything else but it's not that bad considering you could have nothing at all. I think it's just tool snobbery. Go ahead and pay hundreds of dollars on other brands and even knock on Ryobi but it works fine for me and I'm good with that.
Ryobi makes some interesting stuff the other big brands don’t, but that color will forever make me think of baby puke, especially when it’s more than a day old tool. They really need to change it.
But how do I open up the package opener without a package opener! 😅

Ryobi isn't bad they actually pretty good for DIY. What's the point have an expensive drill if you only use it once a year.
I have the air compressor.
It's great. It can be used to inflate anything. I've filled 3 tires in a row and it was still going.
I used mine for my camper tires and it eventually died. They don't make them any more. :(
