Hey Ron,
I live in New Zealand and go hunting as much as I can. List of game we have here are Wapiti ( descendants of Rosey Elk, were gifted to New Zealand by President Roosevelt in 1909, with 20 animals being released in George Sound, Fiordland in the South Island ), Red Deer , Chammy , Tahr, Fallow, whitetail deer (found in the bottom of the South Island & Stewart Island, Sika ,Samber, Rusa, Feral Goats , Wild Pigs (most pig hunting in NZ is done with a pack of dogs ( bailing and holding the pig till the hunter gets there with a rife or sticks them with a knife, Awapawa Ram ( big wooly sheep with large curly horns.
small game Nz rabbit, possums, mallards ,Grey duck , Shoveller duck and Paradise duck , a Canadian geese and other geese, California quail, also Wallaby.
I thought they were Axis deer, they sure look like them, but I'm 99% sure we don't have them here in NZ, I think they might be sika, just very spotted.
I feel like COTW missed a lot of opportunity's with TA.
Also a little fact about Matariki , In Māori culture, Matariki is the Pleiades star cluster and a celebration of its first rising in late June or early July. The rising marks the beginning of the new year in the Māori lunar calendar. Sounds like maa tuh ri ·kee

I think I seen a farming show here and the farmer had one, but I don't know of any high fence hunting for them, none running around wild either. There are wild cattle in some place, domestics ones that have escaped and living in the bush, there not bangtang thou @@Hispanvs
I was betting on Australian map too, but this looks even better - can’t wait to hunt the tahr (though they look a bit woolly, they should be more shaggy).

Tripods fantastic.new zealand is a solid choice of hunting area.

too cool, first game ever to host Tahr... huuuge KO on COTW. They are doing GREAT editing and choosing job, not all things are always good. Keep on with the right choices, no handguns, no overpopulating whitetails... very very good so far. Next choices should be baiting (only allowed in reserves in which it is reasonable), perks for bows, trailcams, dreaming a new balance system in which maybe lions and "precious" species are taken via tags, available only if you balance them by taking a proper amount of invasive species or old specimens. There should also be difference between areas... Transylvania = dogs allowed, Aurora = no dogs, yes baiting, Private Land = the owner chooses
tahr hunting cant wait to try it ! dogs i think would work well too.
@@dgeesiogaming too COTWesque now... maybe later, and WITH proper editing... i.e. dogs for fox/pheasant hunting in Transylvania, absolutely no dogs in Africa (apart from the case in which they should release leopards)

there is quite a few interesting species .
we also need cross reserve lodges, cool we do have different lodges now, yet everyone of us should compose its own dream lodge with every mount he/she sees fit
yeah this is what i talked about in the video i think that would be amazing.
I always like to put the animals where they belong but if the community want this is up to each person to do whatever they want with their game
@@Hispanvs me too, really. Yet many people fill their houses... It's just realistic, and if realism drives me...
@@robertosavini9507 I will never fill the trophy lodge playing on ranger with bow most of the time, that makes it better for me, each animal is more unique.
Wish we could also get the tree stands 🙁

im glad its new zealand . will see what this offers but excited to see where we going.
no Finland please, if it's like COTW... it was their beginning of the crash... overpopulating whitetails with no good care and passion for the map... maps have to be deeply cerebral and realistic to me

yeah we should hopefully learn very soon the full animal list. will do a video as soon as i know about it.
not a fan of feral animal maps but thats fine i love the game

When are bows coming?
we do have some bows in game already. would love some more.

There are 4 bows already in the game but I believe one of them you need to unlock it finishing the tikamoon plains story
