      My thoughts are it is just not necessary :)) But some people enjoy doing the steps and love their results. There are a lot of great products out there..... and we all have our own theories of what we feel works. My theories and understandings come from my 40 years of hands-on working with people and their skin.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  6 років тому

      Yes, I am familiar with Differin. Its light in texture and has helped many people with a sensitive acneic skin. You often need a light moisturizer to alternate with this so your skin doesn't get surface dry :))

    Hello from UK. Is it true if you start to use retinol you will get spots even if your skin is clear?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  6 років тому

      Retinol makes the skin photo-sensitive, so you must use a sunbloc every day. But I use retinol every night and it has lightened my brown freckles tremendously. You will only get spots if you do not protect your skin. The benefits of retinol are wonderful for aging skin. NOT prescription though, its too strong:))

    Great vid! I do have a question, I've tried every vitamin c product out there - in every form and stabilization etc. no matter what it seems to give me blackheads or darkness in my pores.
    Is there anything I can do to combat this bc I love the idea and results others have with it but I can't find any solution for myself?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  6 років тому +3

      About 10% of people cannot use vitamin C.... it just doesn't work for them. I have not heard it giving people more blackheads though....usually, they get tiny red bumps which shows sensitivity. Don't worry about trying to find one..... I don't use it myself either, so it is not a necessity ..... look for different ingredients:))

      Usually dairy - cheese, milk, butter, soy milk e.t.c. its when the body doesn't
      digest this type of fat well, and if continued one can end up with high cholesterol. There are all different body types ( 8 different body constitutions ) to my understanding. If we eat the foods that support our own personal body constitution then we should stay pretty heathy. We also come into this world with weakened organs from our family heritage which we must take into account. I always tell people if you are choosing to go on a diet, look at the body type of the person who developed it? is your body type (shape) the same? I studied many years ago constitutional body types and here in Los Angeles there are constitutional acupuncturist that I strongly believe in, not just because of my own experience, but many of my clients that have been also:)))
      Sorry for the long explanation, but this is something I am very passionate about.
