My argument would be that Saka has a bigger work load than attacking players in similar positions because he tracks back way more. Therefore, he should have more rest. Simple
Saka is prone to hamstring injuries. Arteta and his medical team should have known about this and he should have been managed game time. Saka has the whole clubs pressure on him which is not fair on him.
There's an overarching problem with too much football. This includes international games as well. Sadly, as a quality ball handler, Bukayo gets kicked a lot more than the average player. But to blame Arteta for this particular injury is ridiculous. As someone who has suffered for hamstring injuries for some time these injuries occur for a myriad of reasons, it's extremely unfortunate, but he can recover if given enough time. Time is of the essence, so adequate cover must now be purchased.
Robbie is genuinely comparing a body of 29-30 yo to a kid who’s been getting no rest since the age of 19.? Salah didn’t play the same amount of games at the age of Saka hence he can keep going week in and week out. Saka is nearly touching 300 games for arsenal alone, and he’s 23. On the verge of 400 appearances for club and country. That’s insane
The best players play; you can’t blame Arteta or Arsenal for playing their best player. When he goes to the national team, he plays majority of the game. It’s unfortunate but most of these panelists would have a go if Saka is rested in some games and the team drops points. Have you seen Liverpool dropping Salah ?
When Arteta makes subs so late, he risks injury to both the starters and bench. That scenario over-exerts the starters and keeps the bench in a condition of not being game-fit (physically and mentally) at the same time.
They just love to blame Arteta for the most idi0tic $h1t. I had enough! He has enough things that are his fault as it is to imagine new ones!👎 You go, Don Robbie!👍
Arteta has mismanaged Saka for 3 years now, overplayed him when he had so many opportunities to rest him. I think Saka wont be a big miss now , and this is just based on the evidence for the past 2 years when saka was piss poor in the 2nd half of the season due to lack of break. So based on that evidence he would have probably most likely be piss poor like he was in the past 2 years post new year
At this point the reasons Robbie give are just in favour of club and not critical at all. He will defend club and its strategy at all cost. This owners does not have big club mentality period.
This injury was inevitable. Many predicted it years ago. For a deveeloping young player he has played a ridiculous amount of footba. If there was a player as good or better than him as backup they could be alternated.
If other players in the team actually did something the workload would be lightened on saka and we wouldn’t depend on him so much . Injuries happen in football and I know players are very well paid but are being flogged playing too many games.
How will Robbie compare Salah to Saka... Salah that's a brick, that has matured through the years, to a young Saka that's been played all the time. This injury has been waiting to happen.
Comparing anyone to Salah is silly. In an era with a squad of running machines, everyone has said Salah is the first and last to leave the gym. He even tells other players what to eat. He’s the most professional athlete at a club that has had the likes of Milner and Virgil. Salah has Ronaldo type focus on health and fitness. Doesn’t run as much as Saka per game or play for country as much as stated. Playing a high level for so long is going to break at some point. Klopp has said this for years.
As a Chelsea fan I love how AFTV justifies my hate for Arsenal fans, forever a lover of this content. Also, they treat players like slaves that can't break. Ironic isn't?
Why is no one mentioning Owen when giving an example of a young player played to the ground. Dude was done by the time he was 25 because he was overplayed. Saka is running the risk of being done before he's 30, but I guess Robbie is okay with it🤷♂️🤷♂️

Salah didn’t play the same amount of games at the age of Saka hence he can keep going week in and week out. Saka is nearly touching 300 games for arsenal alone, and he’s 23. On the verge of 400 appearances for club and country. That’s insane
Michael owen ring a bell ?
The best players play; you can’t blame Arteta or Arsenal for playing their best player. When he goes to the national team, he plays majority of the game. It’s unfortunate but most of these panelists would have a go if Saka is rested in some games and the team drops points.
Have you seen Liverpool dropping Salah ?
When Arteta makes subs so late, he risks injury to both the starters and bench. That scenario over-exerts the starters and keeps the bench in a condition of not being game-fit (physically and mentally) at the same time.
Salah hasn't played in any League Cup games
Salah destroying the League at 32.
Where is the Liverpool Process.
Arsenal doing the same thing Houiler did to Michael Owen which destroyed his hamstrings.
The point they missing here is that unlike Salah, Saka's body is still developing and he's been playing crazy minutes for the past 3/4 seasons
How will Robbie compare Salah to Saka... Salah that's a brick, that has matured through the years, to a young Saka that's been played all the time. This injury has been waiting to happen.
Blame the manager... again 👀
5:23 did I actually hear that ??? what is my man smoking
Robbie don’t compare Sala to Saka , Sala has more experience and think about the age wise. We need to manage Sala
Why is no one mentioning Owen when giving an example of a young player played to the ground. Dude was done by the time he was 25 because he was overplayed. Saka is running the risk of being done before he's 30, but I guess Robbie is okay with it🤷♂️🤷♂️
How can you compare Haaland position to Saka where Haaland doesn’t touch the ball for 60/ 70 minutes? He doesn’t run the distance.
Saka got oofed because he was to nice 💔💔💔
This season so far even before Saka got injured, Salah has played more games
The same Sterling that started playing first team football in his teenage years, played loads of minutes young and is now suffering earlier than he should have? Interesting argument to try and make Robbie. Clown
Saka do both attacking and defensive even in the euros played a game rwb while Salah do only attacking .so Saka was more at risk than salah
Salah hit the wall last season. It was for this reason so many were talking about cashing in by flogging him to Saudi.
Chelsea literally left Cole Palmer out of the entire European squad
It was the new specialist in failures fault
