It's this kind of stuff that makes people think I'm a creative genius. Well, I am, but it's because I keep my eyes open for inspiration like this! Heartfelt holiday blessings to all the other creative geniuses out there, and those aspiring to be!
Thanks so much Wendy! Same to you😊
Amazing idea. Great ornament, bookmark or gift wrapping embellishment 💜
Thank you! 😊
🤩 wow…how do you dream up these creations??? These are so ☺️ 🥰 cute ….I have to go check for my scraps. My husband and kids wonder why I save scraps , hahaha what do they know ?! One day , I will show you what they are good for !
My guys are the ones who wash the pot before using the “ liquid gold” (the fond ) after browning meat or veggies. 🤦♀️
Now , you will have me make Christmas ornaments out of scraps and ribbons. My younger son is wowed every time I show him the new thing I made . He didn’t know I am creative …I said me ?? No ! I am just a good copier !! 😁😁
This looks sooo good coming from rubbish ….cheap too. Winner !!!👍👍👍
HI Berniece, I have to admit that I was once guilty of tossing the liquid gold..... Not any more! Thanks again for watching and the feedback. Trying to juggle getting xmas content out and organising end of year stuff...... Have a great day!
There are several videos on this subject, but I found yours the most informative. I can’t wait to try this. Thank you.

Thank you. Hope you give it a try.😊
I treasure that homespun Christmas look. These elegant feathers are perfect! Might just make some from the fabrics I'm using to make everybody kitchen boas. Smaller feathers could decorate the outside of the gift, too, incorporated into ribbons and bows. Wouldn't necessarily have to be gold ribbon. Or only for Christmas decor. Really cute idea!
Got the kitchen boa idea from UA-cam, too. Hadn't seen one before but I knew what I was making for Christmas this year as soon as I saw them--colors matching the aprons I made them all last year. So, thanks, UA-cam! Have a safe and peaceful holiday!
Thanks Wendy. If you haven’t seen it yet, here is my kitchen boa tutorial ua-cam.com/video/vQgzpg7QUR8/v-deo.html Cheers!
Love those!
Thank you😊🙏
@@NotchesSewing You are most welcome. Thank YOU for the vids, I have been loving the ornaments. ❤
Again, another great idea and so well demonstrated. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
This is brilliant!!. Of course I will make them as ornaments and package toppers. But I also thing they will make great toys for my kitties if I attach them to a stick. Thank you so much. Of course I subscribed and hit the bell. I also really like your clear, no fuss instructions.
Thanks Sanhita! Have a look at my cat toy video. You may like that too. Cheers!
More fabric feathers plz one not enough
Wow great idea, I can see these tied to a ribbon or string and use as garland or a banner going across a window. Beautiful idea! The plaid is my favorite. Merry Christmas Angela.
Yes Plaid is great and you really get a totally different pattern when cut the opposite direction. Same with denims. You can make tiny ones as earrings. Have fun!
@@NotchesSewing thank you for your nice reply and sharing your knowledge.
I really like the plaid one, too. I can see a throw and a roll of wrapping paper from where I'm sitting with the same plaid. I *think* it's the Stewart tartan.
