@@RyanYoxo"Shrugging off Kizaru" is not just a crazy exaggeration, it's literally the inversion of the truth. He got absolutely butchered by Kizaru with basically no chance of survival. What saved him was the coincidental call of Sentomaru distracting Kizaru and ultimately making him leave.
He's a servant of fate, and fate told him that he would die if he didn't stay in Kaido's crew. That's the difference between him and someone like Luffy, Kid, or Law. He does whatever fate tells him to, while they dictate their own fate, fighting no matter their odds. Shows the difference between someone who loses their ambition and lets fate dictate their lives vs those who decide thwir own destiny's and keep fighting, no matter the odds. Hawkins is still just like he always has been: a genius, yes, but one that is a servant to "fate" and "chance", i.e., his cards.
Honestly, the most disappointing one imho was Hawkins, when I finally realized that he never really actually set is his own true path, always following his cards. Like ALL the Supernovas in one way or another trailblazed their way to where they are, even clashing against established powers...except Hawkins, who seems to just, give up when "the cards tell him" that he'd lose.
Thematically speaking, Hawkins was there to demonstrate what happens to people who venture the seas without having a will of their own. We all know the importance of will in One Piece after all. Hawkins was made to be a disappointment, and on that front, well he didn't disappoint!
I always liked that touch as it felt Two-face esque in that it takes an extreme circumstance for him to break this weird decision making process based on chance. And fittingly, that was his downfall.
Bonney and Urouge I feel like are a "work in progress". I don't think one can judge them as a disappointments or not just yet since the Straw Hat's adventure with Bonney isn't over yet (I mean, who knows, maybe it'll end up a similar thing as with Law where she travels with them for a time afterwards) and, as you said, the meeting with Urouge has yet to take place.
Personally i think there is a chance Bonny joins the crew. Not a huge chance, this isn't a Vivi/Carrot/Yamato thing were people are 100% convinced about them joining. But given her backstory, personality, and the fact that her original crew is gone i think she could join them.
Basil Chickens always acted so smug in Wano whenever he thought he was winning, like when he captured Law after taking Law's crew hostage, or when he took Kid hostage against Killer. But then he panics when the tables are turned.
This is exactly my thoughts, Hawkins was one of my favorite SN, and thought he'd do stuff in Wano. But all he managed to do was get wrecked by Killer....
I used to like Hawkins and Apoo until Wano, where they became my least favorites. Hawkins is such a dirty coward, thinking he has the upper hand, until Killer sliced his left arm. It's great to see Hawkins suffering the pain and consequences, frankly I don't feel sorry for him one bit.😊
Nah Hawkins actually did stuff. For me its either urouge or drake. He didn't have a 1v1 fight for some reason (no i will not count off screen cp0 or whoever he fought)
I had such high hopes for him. When the light admiral was destroying and speed blitzing everyone he was the only one able to track him. When he got kicked in the face the manga and anime attention was brought to how his eyes were able to track the kick before it hit him. He just wasnt able to physically dodge
I genuinely did want apoo to be cool considering how interesting his devil fruit could’ve been. Then he turned out to be as effective as a 50$ wedding dj. If by some two piece style series of events we get strawhat seraphim then brooks needs apoo’s green blood so he can properly use the fruit.
I feel bad for Kidd, because I honestly think he's one of the strongest pirates in the world. Awakened devil fruit, Conquerers Haki, a loyal crew. His only on screen losses have been to the two strongest pirates on the planet, and he's technically fought more Emperors than Luffy, or any other Supernova has. Hell Luffy lost to Kaido as many times as Kidd lost to Shanks. I hope we see him again, Luffy bounced back from it.
@@koinzellascheriit4282he didn’t get chased out of WCI he confirms he only went there to get what he wanted, which we now know is a copy of the road poneglyph
@@koinzellascheriit4282 actually, kidd got the WCI poneglyph, so he pretty much fulfilled his aim like the strawhats did..and you can't blame him for kaido bcoz luffy would have been in jail too if kaido suddenly dropped in
I like Hawkins and his resolution towards his predictions, and also how accurate they were. From the start, he was never wrong with his fortune telling, and he always used his predictions because of that. He joined the beast pirates because he knew it was the best choice, it was there however that his fate showed him results he didn't want to believe in, he foresaw the possibility of his own death. At that moment Hawkins did a lot of things that I appreciate a lot from a reader's viewpoint. He predicted the chance of the Straw Hats succeeding, because he didn't want to believe in his own death, he also cast doubt on it, that and he also had his small amount of honor to uphold after swearing allegiance to Kaidou. So he lied to everyone about those chances, he made it purposefully vague and inverted the odds when telling people, almost as if trying to defy the fate he saw in any way he could and didn't turn coats. Finally, his prediction came true, the Straw Hats succeeded and he was the one dying, he wasn't successful in changing his fate and that of the raid, his prediction stayed correct until his very last breath and he dies bragging about it, about how he was never wrong in his prediction, only wrong in his decisions to not believe in them, which his cards took into account by predicting his own death. It's quite poetic if you take a deeper look at it.
I became a Kid fan during Wano cause it felt like he was finally gonna be part of the series. Been a massive fan of Law since he showed up and I thought this was setting up Kid getting his Dresrossa. As I read the elbaf incident it felt like Oda was painting my face like a clown in real time. Oda really said "Eustass kid will be doing big things this year" then gave him like the most devastating loss in the series I am still hooked to copium that it will turn around in Elbaf, but it is rough out here man
Honestly should losing to Shanks lower Kidd? I mean Luffy did the same exact thing in Wano and got bagua clapped by Kaido.*Everyone* told him to wait, but he got himself captured. Granted Kidds 1-2 charging in on Yonkos, but I think he deserves some leeway.
The only possible explanation I can think of is because it’s already expected for Luffy to do that. Whereas with Kidd we expected him not to be stupid to that extent
Luffy also thought *Eveyone* at oden castle had been killed by kaido's boro breath right? Isn't that the reason he attacked kaido even when it was a horrible idea?
It's Urouge, 100%. All of the other Supernovas have at least somehow majorly contributed to the story, especially Law, Kid, Killer, Bege, and now Bonney. The only one who hasn't done jack sh*t besides defeat the 4th Sweet Commander off screen is Urouge.
Just waiting until Urouge becomes the most relevant, important, handsome player in the final saga. He’s already one of the 3 so I have high hopes for him.
Fair but kid was set up to be a rival of luffy and seeing him go against strong opponents loosing and not learning anything is the most annoying thing ever yes even worse than that one weird cave luffy found once
I had always thought that half of the supernova would dead. Just to show the true power of the New World and Yonkos. Also showing that how necessary the time skip was for the strawhats.
Hawkins really did fall off hard. I thought he'd turn around and help the Strawhats, I mean Killer even tried to reason with him not to give up but...damn. Feels bad man.
@@jdroker7876yes but he never learns that’s the problem this is hard for me to say but luffy is way smarter than him at least after big mom destroyed him he learned that emperors were no joke kid didn’t he is just an idiot that throws temper tantrums every time he looses because of his stupidity

Uroge, unlike the other novas, has not had a moment where he’s actually in the story. That being said, he feels like he actually has stuff planned. Oda clearly like the character and has ideas
Hawkins had such potential. He had my favorite design and his ability has so much potential but...he was such a footnote in Wano that it took me halfway through you explaining what happened to him for me to remember the scene.
I think the reason luffy gets away is bcoz he doesn't go after innocent people. If he was bad guy, fujitora would have captured him...smoker wouldn't have let him go in alabasta etc. At the end of the day, he knows boundaries and manners more than killer. He bowed down in drum island and even in amazon lily. He gives respect and gets it. If kid like luffy went for fair straight duel, even he might get that plot armour.
kid is over reckless, more than luffy and causes causualities, that why his bounty was higher. i hope this second loss against shanks makes him less reckless from now on
Kid and Killer seemed to me like a younger brother (Kid) being the more wild sibling and his older sibling (Killer) has to bail him out. And the older sibling has way more potential, but stays due to a bond of sorts. And us and the older sibling know the younger one will get into some other shit a few minutes later
With Kid and Killer they had so much potential in Wano. I really think for both of them, the setup was great. For Killer you have the thing with the Smile and for Kid you have his loss against Kaidou and the betrayal of Apoo, leading to him not wanting to trust in an alliance again. But it both kind of fell short in the end. Didn't help that so much of their story was relegated to SBS and mentions in passing.
i think we'll get more in depth backstory when the crew gets to elbaf, those two are too important to just die after getting one soht by shanks. Either his second loss prolly humbles Kid and he stops being over reckless, and he turns the loss around and is an important ally in the final war.
Drake is my favorite character, so I really hope we get another chance to see him shine. He is a member of Sword and they are very relevant right now so i'm still holding out hope.
And he was the only supernova in sabaody to be confirmed with armament and observation haki. I can't wait to properly see how much it has developed. Drake had the 3rd highest bounty in the supernova pre-time skip, I feel like oda wanted him to be more popular then law. I understand his fight with cp0 wasn't great but we've seen how strong cp9 can get and these guys should be on a whole nother level, yea puffy slapped Lucci in egghead but I'm pretty sure they were making a point that Kaku and zorro are still relatively on the same level.
@@Lizard_king25I mean, Drake seems to have been the one Oda already had plans for back in Sabaody. The interaction between him and Kizaru foreshadowed his role as the leader of Sword. Remember that the supernovas were a last minute addition, so Law's role in the story, and everyone's else was only thought afterwards
@@GrowingDownUnder Good thing I don’t care about your opinion then 👍. Also shows how little you payed attention to the the show if the only thing you know about him is his powers.
If nothing else he's the reason the marines know what happened on the island. Emperor alliance leaks through him, CP0 would have covered stuff up and kept the info outside of Luffy being the new emperor between them and the elders. So he's likely another voice in the marines to point to Luffy having done good for a country in the world. Unfortunately likely to end up like some of the others and fall into the background at best. I could see him being a random high rank in the aftermath of the endgame stuff though.
The only one I'm really disappointed by is Drake. Hope he shows up again. Hawkins I never expected to be "cool" in that sense. He allied with Kaido out of fear. Tho what I loved was that he revealed himself to be the 1% man and chose not to switch sides again. Bege was amazing. Way cooler than I expected
Honestly Urougue truelly might have a lot of potential considering he is the ONLY nova left. That means he doesnt have to share an arc like Kid/Hawkins and Apoo did and he is last so maybe Oda wanted to do something special with him
All I remember about X-Drake in Wano was wondering if Hawkins was right that X-Drake would die and the memes of X-Drake having a “I want to live moment” when he called out to Luffy.
The fact that you have to say law is a 10 might be cause Tekinlaw is watching from the sideline with his sword saying" I dare you to give me anything but a 10."
Bonnie has just started her arc has just started so if she gets anything like Capone did then she'll be here for a while and hopefully she'll get the development as well.
That doesn't make any sense, though. The Supernovas are a specific bunch of pirates who rose to fame within a similar time frame, hit bounties over 100 million, and had all reached the Red Line at about the same time, with Luffy and Zoro being among them. There aren't going to suddenly be new ones coming out of nowhere that we somehow didn't know about back then. I think that what you are talking about are other "Super Rookies". Cavendish was one from before the Straw Hats, Bartolomew was one that appeared after them. They also showed some who had been recruited by the fake Straw Hats, like the Caribou brothers. It would make sense for more of those to be revealed, just not Supernovas specifically.
@@dustinrausch5008 I think thats just the worst generation. I think supernovas are just rookies with bounties over 100,000,000 berries. Like Cavendish is a supernova I believe. I could be wrong though, hard to keep track
Tekking I gotta say, I don’t think I’ve ever had to watch an ad while watching your videos and I really appreciate that. Every other OP UA-camrs videos have ads and it gets old. Another thing I really appreciate that you stay in your own channel. I watch your channel for you and I’m glad I don’t have to listen to others.
I like the naming of Supernovas, if the Gorosei are the 5 elder plants than having another space term to refer to the worst pirates, and Luffy being a sun god, supernovas are related to stars. Just seems better than calling them the worst rookies/generation.
A supernova is an exploding star and apparently, the sun cannot undergo a supernova event. Maybe the name was chosen to label rising rookies as major players but also to highlight their demise as equally significant.
@@muhammadfaisal5Y5 More specifically a supernova is the end of a large star's lifespan where it's weight becomes so much that it becomes a singularity. At that point the singularity can either collapse into itself if it becomes smaller than the Schwarzschild radius and become a black hole, or fail to do that and rapidly expand in a supernova. Supernovas release a lot of matter into space due to the nuclear fusion and fission taking place inside a star creating 'new matter'. Our Sun is simply too small to do this process, when it becomes more massive it'll eventually grow beyond it's own gravitational pull, by that point all of the inner planets will already have been consumed by it's outer layers. Those layers will then be shed off, destroying most of the rest of the solar system, and leaving a brown dwarf star behind. This process similarly ejects matter out into space, which will eventually become new stars and planets. As for story significance, I like your theory. It's fitting, and perhaps like an actual dying star, and much like Gold Roger, the eventual fates of the supernovas will inspire a new generation at the end of the story.
First chapter of Kidd's timeskip he was on a 4 Leaf Clover island. The buckle on his belt looked vaguely like the symbol on the Maxim Buddha's head. The point? Kidd is a lucky guy protected by god just like Luffy. He'll be back even from this.
Haha this was a good topic. I think the novas may all end up getting together on the final battle, but for now, I think it’s cool that they all ended up having equal potential yet taking different paths: Some fizzled out, some were calculating, some brash, some content. That’s how it is in the real world, and I think it was good writing on Oda’s part. It’s like going to a highschool reunion and being surprised at how your classmates ended up. Bitter and sweet, but special nonetheless.❤
If I gotta order it myself not counting the mains like Luffy and Zoro. From best to worst as the moment Law is epic. Did so much for the story but he is kinda a loose Cannon like Luffy thinking he could get rid of doffy yet we see how much that took. Then got epic beat down status by Blackbeard. Crew was disappointing for how little they do. X drake If he's alive I wanna see rejoin the marines so he has potential. If he died probably a bit lower. Bonney has potential with this arc if she continues on as her crew was nothing to begin with. I wanna see what she does going forward and could be a good counter weight to robin and Nami being a girl Luffy. Capone did what he needed to do. Hopefully he runs the underworld next. Uroge still waiting to see what he does. Captain mid only chance to redeem himself is to help kill shanks while shanks fights Blackbeard he slaughters the people shanks protects. Basil and monkey singer guy disappointing and boring
I really liked Drake showing up in Wano and being in sword since it explains why he was basically going straight for Kaido all the way back in chapter 595. Which also brings up how he happens to already be a dinosaur zoan like others in the animal pirates
Basil CHICKENS. Dude was a coward to the bitter end. If he was gonna bow down to Kaido immediately, then he had no business even forming an alliance to go after Shanks anyway. Kid was right about him.
He regretted joining kaido and even though he knew he was gonna die if he stayed on kaido's side with that 1% survival chance, he didn't want to be like apoo who constantly switched sides whenever it suited him. He went against the chances of his cards even though he knew he was gonna die from it. Or are we just forgetting that scene with him and drake
@@milli5968 Drake thought that the 1% was Luffy and still took that chance too. Luffy, Kid, and Law all knowingly face danger all the time without backing down, even if they could die from it. Hell, even Bege is more impressive than Chickens, as he plotted to solo assassinate Big Mom despite the low chance of success. And he still would have gone through with it even if Luffy hadn't shown up to Wholecake. Chickens is not that special just because of ONE time where he tries to go against fate. The others have been doing that longer than he has.
To be fair, there’s a difference between making plans to fight an emperor, and suddenly having one appearing right in front of you. Plus, his cards told him that his chance of victory in battle or escape were 0%. Not 5%, not 1%, 0%. Even the craziest gambler wouldn’t like those odds, so I can’t really blame him. Side note, I really think Bege overthought the assassination plan and made it way more complicated than it needed to be. All he had to do was get a devil fruit, make a fruit cake out of it, give it to Big Mom, and let her gluttony be her downfall, as eating a second devil fruit would cause her body to blow up. But I guess that would be too anticlimactic.
Off topic also spoilers Can't wait for your reaction on the latest bleach episode. They fixed ichigos introduction fight and actually made it epic by basically being the shinigami arc Ichigo who stomped vice captains with his hand. He even punched some of the Bambi while still in shikai. It was epic.
It feels weird for me to hear Tekking's Lord Orochi voice after finding out that the official VA for Orochi is Keith Silverstein. Tekking should've been Orochi's official Dub Voice XD
I really hope we get more stuff with them because I honestly think they're all kind of dissapointments so far or at least haven't much or AS much as I was wanting by the end. I want them to all have a really really cool fight and I don't really think any other than Law luffy and Zoro have. Kid being mid as hell was a huge letdown. Killer is cool as hell though. Hawkins/Apoo/Drake I want them to somehow have a cooler fight but i dont know how. bonney is in the story more so I have hopes for her still and I really want Urogue to come back and do something. Im actually fine with how bege is.
I love X Drake's design and back story but he was horribly misused in Wano. He could have been the tie between Sword and the Strawhats to show they have possible allies in the Navy. And it just didn't happen
To Be Honest, i wonder if urouge awakened his devil fruit, would it not only give him physical strength after being punched or hit (physically), but would it also harm ANY attacker that dares attack him. Regardless of it being physical or A Devil Fruit or Even Haki it self. (Unless its Ryo I guess) Hints why the name has the Karma Karma or i guess you can say Divine Retribution in it. (What goes around comes around In a Literal sense when it comes to fighting).
I know anyone who is insane about Powerscaling is gonna say Kid lol. When Urogue basically has nothing besides beating the weakest commander in Big Mom's crew. Maybe in the future he'll get something but considering how far in the endgame we are, I fail to see how he can be relevant at all, even Bonnie has more relevance thanks to Kuma and Vegapunk. Edit: Then again in the current Manga, Wapol is relevant again so who knows what Oda could pull 😅
Honestly Kidd should be higher, and at least be 8. Dont really get how Luffy can lose to Kaido multiple times and not get shit for it, but Kidd gets knocked out less times and gets shit for it. Plus Luffy goes into danger and people don't give him shit for it, and Kidd does the same thing then gets double standard judgment
Kidd will awakening cope cope no mi fruit so he can still non stop cope even after Luffy, shanks and buggy go laughtale also found one piece , overthrown WG together .go back to their hometown for celebration achievement while Kidd pirates and their cope fans non stop say oda is bad writting in one piece final saga arc end
Why would any of them be disappointments? They were introduced to us as weak rookies with only one of them having a bounty comparable to Luffy's. They were never the central focus of the story, they were just the pirates that took the other paths in the grand line. Honestly, I think way too many people in the community gassed themselves up. Maybe people should start having really realistic expectations.
I can’t believe out of all the supernovas, Hawkins was the first one to straight up die. And not only that, but after all the hype he got in Sabaody and even the first act of Wano, he ended up being a side fight, and died as a subordinate of Kaido instead of a proud captain of his own crew. I would have been fine with him dying if he had the character development to defy his own cards for the first and only time in his life, and stood up to Kaido with the rest of the supernovas. But as it stands, he will go down as one of the most wasted characters in the story.
@@panafricanismisascam5201 he hasn't accomplished his actual goals don't get me wrong I am a Kidd fan but he's been disappointing the way Oda portrays him
@@panafricanismisascam5201I'm going to have to disagree with that. Im not even going to mention Zoro bc he's a major character in the series but I'm going to have to say law and roughly drake are more impressive. Law was a prodigy in his youth. I mean he acquired enough medical knowledge to be able to use the ope ope no mi later in life, survived a genocide by himself before turning 13, somehow survive on his own long enough to join doflamingo flag, went through a tough training regimen impressing doflamingo enough to groom to becoming his right hand, survived long enough to form his own crew after corazon death. After years of surviving by themselves as orphans became a notorious pirate crew. I'm not going to mention the other stuff known in the series like punk hazard, and dressrosa bc they speak for themselves. Kidd hasn't really had a chance to shine the only two moments I can think where I was impressed by him was where he fought against big mom and kaido. We are least got the chance to see law fight, his strength, weaknesses, leadership style. Idk anything Abt Kidd besides he runs into situations head first with bravado, and in a series like one piece that's not very impressive bc most pirate captains are like. I give drake credit bc we see him turn from a meek young man to a stoic marine. He got over the abuse given by his father and accomplish his goal of being a marine and a rear admiral at that before joining SWORD, so he's like special ops. His "defection" was so real that not even kizaru nor kaido suspected he was secretly a spy. It was because of him that the Marines knew about the alliance of big mom and kaido. If it wasn't for drake releasing law no one would have been the wiser. Though I did wish he had more screen time I admit what I've seen did impress me especially when the marines don't get as much attention under vice admiral
I hope Urouge doesn't get focused on, not becouse I don't like him, I actually liked him second best at sabaody, but because if you don't focus on him, he will be forever a power scaling nightmare. "Urouge got smashed by Kizaru" "So did Luffy. And Zoro." "But that's different." "No it isn't. It was the same 2 years for everyone."
I can't say I'm disappointed at Apoo Hate his design, hate his voice, hate his personality and his power always seemed lackluster... Can't be disappointed if the expectation was never there With that being said... I would put him as the most disappointing for those same reasons. Although I didn't expect anything out of him, he's taking a spot that could be occupied by someone more interesting.
Not supernova per se, but the rest of Kids crew. He was the only one with a higher bounty than Luffy at Sabaody, he was the only one with a crewmate under him that was also a Supernova, and Killer had a higher bounty than Zoro. They had by far the coolest design and we got to see some of them fight in Sabaody aswell (although that may have been anime-only filler, I don't remember). These guys were portrayed to be the Strawhats equals except they were all brutal monsters and I was HYPED to see more of them. But then..... Nothing

Did you know that there's a debate whether Blackbeard was considered as one of the Supernovas? Because technically, his debut as his own Pirate Crew was probably started on the same year as Luffy's debut. Assuming that we know Ace Started Chasing Blackbeard during Loguetown because the First time Ace and Blackbeard mentioned is during Drum Island. He became 7 Warlords after capturing Ace, fooled the entire Navy, recruiting people from Impel Down and taking Whitebeard's Devil Fruits and his Position as Yonko while Luffy failed to save Ace.
I really like Killer tho I wish he would be more strict with Kid I mean the dude lost an arm and still thinks it a good idea to charge in blindly attacking his enemies.
I remember watching you for your bleach videos, great to see you really doing well now. If you could cover TYBW arc, it could be a little throwback to that period
I just thought about it but the other supernovas are actually pretty impressive for not taking a break for two years. They all went straight into the new world and as far as we know they didn’t have a huge amount of time to train but still made pretty decent names for themselves. In particular I feel like Bege and Law stand out because they were really plotting out what they wanted to do and pretty much accomplished their goals.
2 is way too high for Apoo. I was actually kind of hyped for Apoo when he was introduced - for a guy chaotic enough to provoke an Admiral just for the hell of it, I expected a lot more. The kind of person to poke the bear like that just doesnt really align with the cowardly character we saw in Wano. Not only was he thoroughly useless, but his attitude and motivations in Wano are totally unlikable.

Bro same. His fruit is so cool but he was relegated to being barely more than fodder.
Would a Brook Seraphim still be a skeleton?
@@Lunchbox92probably not
@@Lunchbox92 not a skeleton, but he would without a doubt have the Afro👌
Way back in Sabaody I thought Apoo was the most interesting . Also disappointed he was not in Film Red.
But Kid was also chased out of WCI and got himself and his 1st mate in captivity of Kaido on top of the double-lose against shanks.
@@koinzellascheriit4282I mean when Kaido drops in on your base what are you going to do

Yep, which is why I think his ending was perfect. It was really well written.
As a massive Kid fan, the rankings for Kid and Killer were spot on. Still think/hope that they'll have more todo in the future tho

Oda really said "Eustass kid will be doing big things this year" then gave him like the most devastating loss in the series

@@jongaskell4288 yes

It's Urouge, 100%. All of the other Supernovas have at least somehow majorly contributed to the story, especially Law, Kid, Killer, Bege, and now Bonney. The only one who hasn't done jack sh*t besides defeat the 4th Sweet Commander off screen is Urouge.
Oda is preparing us for him
Just waiting until Urouge becomes the most relevant, important, handsome player in the final saga. He’s already one of the 3 so I have high hopes for him.
Uroge will be in elbaf. Every arc we meet a new supernova. Also uorge took down a commander, he did not disappoint
Fair but kid was set up to be a rival of luffy and seeing him go against strong opponents loosing and not learning anything is the most annoying thing ever yes even worse than that one weird cave luffy found once
32:13 he’s a PIRATE you fool!
If monk was the last one to show his power means he’s top 3 super nova
Nah 3rd has got to be either law or kidd or even current zoro
Didn’t they say that monk lost to cracker in whole cake island arc???
I had always thought that half of the supernova would dead. Just to show the true power of the New World and Yonkos. Also showing that how necessary the time skip was for the strawhats.
Hawkins really did fall off hard. I thought he'd turn around and help the Strawhats, I mean Killer even tried to reason with him not to give up but...damn. Feels bad man.
kid was set up to be luffy but evil and he turned into the guy that looses every arc and refuses to learn from his mistakes

😂
kid is over reckless, more than luffy and causes causualities, that why his bounty was higher. i hope this second loss against shanks makes him less reckless from now on
If Killer was the captain of the crew, they would still be alive, but wouldn't have gotten as far. That's what I think.
I think Killer is two years older than Kid too so it works out.
Remember that the supernovas were a last minute addition, so Law's role in the story, and everyone's else was only thought afterwards
drake is worse supernova...just another dinosaur character with nothing special.
What abou Apoo, were your expectations for him also low ?
Honestly Urougue truelly might have a lot of potential considering he is the ONLY nova left. That means he doesnt have to share an arc like Kid/Hawkins and Apoo did and he is last so maybe Oda wanted to do something special with him
yeah, urouage may come through in Elbaf
All I remember about X-Drake in Wano was wondering if Hawkins was right that X-Drake would die and the memes of X-Drake having a “I want to live moment” when he called out to Luffy.
The fact that you have to say law is a 10 might be cause Tekinlaw is watching from the sideline with his sword saying" I dare you to give me anything but a 10."
Love to hear the classic "I AM LORD OROCHIII" again lmao
Bonnie has just started her arc has just started so if she gets anything like Capone did then she'll be here for a while and hopefully she'll get the development as well.
She already got a lot of development already which is good
I wonder how you would rate Bonney now.
Urouge is a god knight
He's him
I know they wouldn't mean much on the power scale this late in the game but I think it'd be kind of cool just for the news to announce new Supernova's
That would be very cool
The fact I predicted Apoo and Tekking confirmed it made my day!
Tekking I gotta say, I don’t think I’ve ever had to watch an ad while watching your videos and I really appreciate that. Every other OP UA-camrs videos have ads and it gets old. I really appreciate the Urouge rating! He definitely has supreme potential!
Urouge will be the Pirate king!
Hes the main character after all
I like the naming of Supernovas, if the Gorosei are the 5 elder plants than having another space term to refer to the worst pirates, and Luffy being a sun god, supernovas are related to stars.
It's fitting, and perhaps like an actual dying star, and much like Gold Roger, the eventual fates of the supernovas will inspire a new generation at the end of the story.
tekkings hair looks great
First chapter of Kidd's timeskip he was on a 4 Leaf Clover island. The buckle on his belt looked vaguely like the symbol on the Maxim Buddha's head. The point?
Kidd is a lucky guy protected by god just like Luffy. He'll be back even from this.
you deserve to hit 1 million subs. keep up the good work
Haha this was a good topic. I think the novas may all end up getting together on the final battle, but for now, I think it’s cool that they all ended up having equal potential yet taking different paths:
Some fizzled out, some were calculating, some brash, some content. That’s how it is in the real world, and I think it was good writing on Oda’s part. It’s like going to a highschool reunion and being surprised at how your classmates ended up. Bitter and sweet, but special nonetheless.❤
Killer most definitely outperforms his captain. Made Kaido bleed when Kid didnt, dicks on Hawkins, reacted to Shank's attack before his captain did.
I actually like the design of urouge a lot. I hope oda does something interesting with him
Me: Aww man, he didn't even get the power. That's so sad.
*Sees sketch*
Me: Wow he dodged a bullet.
Never eat a Smile, it is almost never beneficial.

From best to worst as the moment
Law is epic.
Actual good reasoning
Oda did Hawkins dirty. His extra life straw men should have been a gruesome ability, but it never paid off by killing important people

Apoo went from being the only one who could harm an Admiral pretimeskip to being less than fodder. Rough stuff.
I think “harm” is a bit generous. Mildly inconvenienced an admiral would be more accurate.
Anyone who says Kidd is an idiot, that powerscaling doesn’t matter

Hawkins and Bonney: 5
Apoo: 7
Bege: 7.5
Killer: 9

Honestly Kidd should be higher, and at least be 8.
Dont really get how Luffy can lose to Kaido multiple times and not get shit for it, but Kidd gets knocked out less times and gets shit for it.
Plus Luffy goes into danger and people don't give him shit for it, and Kidd does the same thing then gets double standard judgment

So many wasted characters because Oda juggled too much than what he can handle in Wano. 😅
I legit was convinced that it was over and just went well fuck

Hate his design, hate his voice, hate his personality and his power always seemed lackluster... Can't be disappointed if the expectation was never there
With that being said...
Nothing
Predicting what video would come next and having it be the right one blew my mind
Urogue is disqualified, bro is a phantom rn, Hawkins has shown the most fraudulents, he had a cheat code with kids straw doll, but a mad man in blue jeans showed him that it do go down, apoo and Drake put up some numbers on onigashima against cp0 and even luffy and zoro
Considering we now know Bonney is only 12 years old, she's done well as a pirate.
As a 12 year old, becoming a supernova is a big feat.
Good on her
Luffy, Zoro, Kid, and Killer are 10's
Capone is an 8
Law and Drake are 7's
Appo and Bonney are 6's
Urouge is a 5
Hawkins is a 4
Did you know that there's a debate whether Blackbeard was considered as one of the Supernovas?

I liked Law since they first introduced him at Sabaody! So much I made a point to buy his Funko Pop.
kid will be back i hope so!!!
Never forget that Hawkins got killed by Killer. KKH lol
12:37 shanks: “You’re not that Guy pal. You’re not that guy”
kinda a crack theory but i legit no joke think urouge is the strongest supernova, on par with luffy. like bro litterally scared off kaido. kaido would rather try to kill himself than fight urouge. it was also never stated that he LOST to cracker, just that he got the hell out of dodge
