In June 2008 a giant all-star ensemble embarked on a world tour to finally bring the legendary Metal Opera project "Avantasia" to the stage and write Heavy Metal History: For the first time an all-star project like this did not only get together in the studio to record an album, but set out on a full-fledged world tour.
Within a couple of weeks a band of musicians such as Tobias Sammet, Jorn Lande, Bob Catley, Andre Matos, Kai Hansen, Amanda Somerville and many more hit the stages around the globe to delight a total of more than 300,000 fans in Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Czech Republic, Romania, Italy, Germany and Hungary.
This Blu-Ray-set covers the first ever world tour of a "Metal Opera", that was originally intended to be just a studio project. A camera team has followed the flying circus everywhere around the globe, so that you can have a look behind the scenes, breathe the air on hte road and learn more about the organisation and all the madness that go along with an undertaking never seen before.

vou ser honesto, nada me deixa tão arrepiado como essa música, amo avantasia e a presença ilustre do maestro andré matos me deixou estonteado, essa musica era uma das minhas favoritas na época que eu ouvi, descobri agora que andré matos participou desse show ao vivo, daria de tudo pra voltar no tempo e estar presente nesse show. André Matos vive!

Vejo muitos brasileiros não valorizarem o que é nosso. Na minha opinião após análise, Andre Matos foi sim sem dúvida, um dos melhores vocalistas de Power Metal do mundo. O Maestro Andre Matos, é a prova de que o brasileiro pode e pode chegar longe com dedicação, disciplina e estudo.

Pra driblar isso, a galera diminui o tom das músicas e é assim que gente que nem você acha que a galera continua destruíndo. "Ah, mas o Roy Khan e o Tobias continuam cantando". Porra!! Roy Khan saiu do Kamelot em 2011!! Tobias Sammet faz miniturne vez ou outra com o Edguy. Você quer realmente comparar o nível de atividade dos dois com o do Andre Matos? Se vc somar o número de albuns feitos pelos Sammet e pelo Khan de 2010 a 2019, ainda assim o Andre terá feito mais albuns. Mas se vc ainda assim não acha que o Andre Matos tem uma boa técnica vocal, tem trocentos videos de técnicos vocais analisando a performance dele ao vivo aqui no UA-cam e simplesmente não tem um único que concorde contigo. Nem o Tobias Sammet ou o Roy Khan concordariam contigo!

Segundo lugar: quero ver esses cantores aí aguentarem uma turne inteira cantando o Angels Cry na íntegra. Quero ver eles aguentarem cantar Stand Away uma turnê inteira na tonalidade original e sem roubar. Quero ver fazer isso e não estar com a garganta arrebentada!

Secondly, few days before dying he took the stage with Tobias after more than 10 years to sing this song

eu nunca vou me esquecer do show que fui do avantasia em são paulo, o tobias quase chorando, e o andré sussurrando no ouvido dele "do caralho, são paulo"... o tobias pensou, e decidiu falar no microfone "do caralho, sao paulo", com o sotaque mais gringo que eu já ouvi, e o andré sussurou outra coisa mas ele fez que nao com a cabeça uhauhahauhauh... e o andré correndo com a bandeira do brasil pelo palco.. foi lindo..
A amizade deles era muito foda, o Tobias falava que o André tinha a voz mais feminina entre os vocalistas masculinos haha
Massa é a humildade dos alemães, vem até um país de 3o mundo e reconhecem artistas e fãs. E a gadaiada brasileira fica babando ovo de hip hop americano que nem pisam pé no Brasil.
