Hi Mark, three questions: What water parameters do you like to keep them in? What water parameter is it when you decide to do the water change? And say the TDS is high, do you only put a small amount of shrimp salt in the water? I'm generally confused because sometimes the TDS gets high, and obviously i want to bring it way down but I don't want to shock them. Also, your shrimp set up is so beautiful and absolute paradise to me!!
Excellent advice Mark. I had a huge colony thriving which i kept feeding heavily out of habit. I must have over fed and suffered the consequences. Less is more. Its easy to to tell a fish with a full belly. Not so much with shrimp
I have an episode suggestion. What about doing one on fresh food? For example, how to pick them (what to look for) , prepare it and feed it. Like baby spinach, mulberry leaves, dandelion flowers, etc?
I love your Super Crystals!!! I keep Red Galaxy and really want to get some Super Red Crystals since my Red Galaxy are breeding and doing fine. To answer your question for me is CARIDINA all the way!
No unfortunatly the heater in the tank stuck on and it killed the tank, if you ever get these shrimp make sure you get a good thermostate controler like the ink bird ones.
Hello Marks, I want to know how much Nitrate in tank I need to change my water, I am breeding tiger shrimps now, using akadama active soil. I don't want to change water frequently so that my soil active effect for longer. Could you help me? Thanks😀

I like Neos. They are just easier for me.
Your shrimp are beautiful. I love all shrimp no matter the types. Thanks for sharing
Great tips Mark! Less feeding = fewer water changes = longer soil life!
Thank you sir, I sent you a message on your Jv email :)

Yay we are Shrimplets! 😆
For my caridina shrimp I do 10% water change every week, feed twice a day, don't feed two days a week, have lots of babies.
Tanks looking great Mark 😊
Thanks 👍
What do u think of mineral balls
to be honest no thoughts.
what is the suitable ratio of shrimp male and female?
For red cherry shrimp
5 girls to 1 male is good

Hello sir I've basically covered everything you've said there in videos before my channel
What size of tanks would you suggest
10 gallon and up, if you go smaller the young tend to stay small.
Tremendous shrimp! Thanks for another interesting video Mark. Could you please tell me what substrate you use for your Crystal Reds?
for the most part its ether akadama (the reddish soil) or ADA Amazonia (the dark soil) I like them both the same.
Thanks for the informative videos.
Do you use Akadama soil or regular aqua soil on the Bee shrimp?
I use akadama and amazonia
I love your Super Crystals!!! I keep Red Galaxy and really want to get some Super Red Crystals since my Red Galaxy are breeding and doing fine. To answer your question for me is CARIDINA all the way!
Good choice!
Do you still keep cardinal shrimp mark?
No unfortunatly the heater in the tank stuck on and it killed the tank, if you ever get these shrimp make sure you get a good thermostate controler like the ink bird ones.
@MarksShrimpTanks Thanks Mark, that is my biggest fear with my heated tanks

Don't change it unilit starts to go over 5 ppm which in a well planted tank could be never.
Hey @MarksShrimpTanks , Will neo caradina shrimp eat bog wood?
yes they will eat what grows on it until nothing is left but that could take years.
do you do a 10% weekly water change.
No basicly none at all until there is a reason to do one like for example abuild up of algae or something like a few deaths.
Caridina and then Neocaridina
Both 👍
