It’s going to have almost the exact drivetrain and transmission from the current type R as well as an engine that’s based off of the current type R engine. Don’t know if it’s gonna be a coupe or convertible, or how big or heavy it will be, but I am certainly looking forward to it. The integra really let me down but the new type R has been insane. Hopefully it’s more like the later.

I agree from a performance point the fd2 is king... Buttttt the 90s Honda's were more raw and dangerous and for me more fun And part of the original type r ethos was as lightweight as possible... 5 doors doesn't fit with that
I drive a 95 Del Sol and seeing it go around the track at 3:53 gives me some hope that I'll be able to drive my del sol down the Nurburgring someday. I just need to fix it up and give it some TLC.

Del sol tuned to perfection with a engine swap, h23, 24 psi turbo, built for 4-5 runs could do damage. As long as the suspension and weight were distributed right. Gotta factor in all the cornering, wanna stay in the throttle during turns

I bought one last year at a pretty crazy price (wish I bought it two years sooner.. but who knows what it will be worth in five years. Only 50k miles and never modded.
@@Fidelitye not if it’s a 88-91 4WS, with slight adjustments on setup they have neutral handling leaning oversteer and won’t plow / under steer on you. A LSD from a civic type R helps as well
All great models, but even if I feel that the 1998-2002 honda accord coupe is missing, I think it is a very undervalued model for mass consumption, I love that model because its rear gives it a certain resemblance to the NSX.
