- So I joined TommyKay's 5000$ HOI4 Tournament and let's just say I ruined it.
This is how I dominated this HOI4 Multiplayer with the patented Dankus Soviet Union.
It's time for the best Russia in Hearts of Iron 4 to return and show you why it was banned by Bokoen!
Yep this is the Dankus Russia POV in the Great Game II aka the $5,000 HOI4 Multiplayer game hosted by TommyKay.
Joining Dankus on co-op will be Bitt3rSteel, the master of Belgian esports.

Ehh, this mod isnt really that competitive. Its not that balanced. But it was never going to be because tommy had a "content over fairness" policy, and all actually balanced mods are railroaded (I.E. they remove a lot of randomness/clutter from the game to balance it better)

He used the same tactics he uses every time. It's not very exciting, but understandable with a prize pool of $5000.
well in my hoi4 games with my friends we banned ussr using heavy tanks until 1942 bcs it would always end up that ussr would steamroll them at start of 1942 which was unfair to axis and win the game without even allies doing d day which was quite unfair we had really good germany

I always hate the ahead of time penalty tech, i always seem to complete it at the same if sooner date when i just do some up to date tech and then grab it just before it gets off the ahead of time penalty point. It hurts unless you go full tech research and research focus. And even then, some just don't have focuses to reduce research and ahead of time penalties for what matters to grab ahead of time. So meh, i am a noob i guess.
Thats TFB (if you have this issue in vanilla, its a matter of focusing it more) Also, if you get a tech in the year it would no longer be ahead of time, you still saved time as you would otherwise still have it later because even up to date tech still takes 100 days or more
Single player it's hard, but it's a huge thing for faction multiplayer. Most countries (especially with road to 56) have focuses that let them specialize in a specific tech or two, so you do that and have each country rush one or two things. Then you can use the production license feature to share it with the allies that actually have the production to make them. Easy example, is Bulgaria rushes mechanized, but Germany builds it

From what I saw in Tommy’s video Germany never really recovered from their botched invasion of France (they did recover but they were stunted and not as strong as they should have been). Dankus delivered a beautiful coup de grâce.
I am pretty sure you add BitterSteal to a aggressive player and they can't be beat perfect defence and planing with mire aggressive

To be honest Tanks are and were historically the best thing to have between the years 1917-1949. After that fighter planes able to CAS targets while flying at Mach 3+, combined with the spread of German Infantry command doctrines that modernized infantry, made tanks unviable for anything other than breakthrough pushes, which all tanks in the modern day are specialized to.
