Lucky Krookodile didn't beat up her and the owner together. Considering their respective minimum evolution levels and disadvantageous type matchup, she should have lost that fight.
At the end after she howled with joy that her trainer/master wasn't hurt you should have had him give her headpats or headscratches as thanks for saving him knowing that she did give up going Midday form and went Midnight to save him from that Krookodile attacking him
