When i was nine my mom got my nails done and it was one of the best memories I had picking out the colors and it was like acrilics or anything it was gel red with a small white flower and it meant so much to me you have clearly created a confident queen of a daughter who is treated like one too 💗
The shit people get all worked up about online is so ridiculous to me. I always allowed my daughter to express herself through whatever fashion, makeup, hair, nails she wanted as a kid and teen. She’s an extremely well rounded awesome adult. And she’s now my best friend in this world as a grown young lady. And it inspired her to go to school for cosmetology and then an aesthetician. She actually thanked me at 18 for always allowing her to express herself how she felt confident and for not shaming her like so many of her friends felt growing up and now suffering from deep insecurities in their own decision making. Obviously it’s not all about beauty and fashion decisions it was in all aspects of life where I tried to allow her to trust herself and gave very open honest advice and answers to sometimes very uncomfortable and hard questions. I never lied, or sugar coated anything. I was a single mom and I wanted my kids to always have the full truth on topics even if it was ridiculously uncomfortable at times lol so far all my kids seem to have not only survived but thrived. Trust your gut as a mama! And screw the chatter and judgment. I was constantly judged. I even had friends and family try to tell me my kids would end up pregnant and Teen moms/dads and hs drop outs bc I let her wear a 2 piece swimsuit. (They are no longer my friends and she did not become a Teen mom or hs drop out 🙄)
To be honest as much as I love you guys I am not a fan of how adult-like she is allowed to dress and act. Sexual dance moves like twerking just seem inappropriate and like not a child friendly thing. Crop tops too, like why on a child. What’s the point in showing more skin than necessary?
