If you do keep on failing the recipe mama will get angry at you and no matter what recipe it is and if you fail all of them she will have a frowning face and her eyes would be fire. Doing it perfectly will will result in her being super happy and giving you the compliment, “Wow! Even better than mama!”

That was Krieg, a DLC playable character from Borderlands 2. His class is "psycho" and his skills center around injuring himself for perks or bum rushing opponents. He is also completely insane and knows it, basically having been reduced to a split personality that took over his brain, leaving his real self stuck inside his head and making sarcastic comments and desperately trying not to remember whatever traumatic experience led to this situation...

And yeah, I can see him failing at hosting a cooking show. Most of the cast of Borderlands, actually. Some from rage quitting, some from deciding it is more interesting that way, some from legit incompetence.
