AEW Fight Forever is a wrestling video game based on the popular professional wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Developed with a modern and realistic aesthetic, the game captures the excitement and intensity of AEW matches in an interactive experience.
In AEW Fight Forever, players have the opportunity to control their favorite AEW wrestlers, including stars like Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and many more. Each wrestler is meticulously recreated, with unique moves and abilities that reflect their in-ring styles and personalities.
The game offers various game modes to enjoy. The "Career" mode allows players to create their own custom wrestler and take them through an exciting story, competing in different events and aiming to become the AEW World Champion. There is also an "Exhibition" mode that allows players to compete in single or tag team matches, either online or in local mode, against friends or the game's AI.
AEW Fight Forever features a fluid and accessible combat system, designed to cater to both casual players and those seeking a more competitive experience. Players can execute a wide variety of moves, perform attack combinations, and use the ring ropes to execute spectacular maneuvers. Why does the commentators sound like they been held at gun point like it sounds like they really don’t wanna be there
Since its a live service game, hopefully they focus first on getting the guys who arent there out of the game, update all the overly outdated talent, and actually mocap entrances and victory animations. Theres no excuse after three years of development to not have anyone winning a title even get a full announcement after, and even TNA Impact had a better short entrance system.

The animations are stiff as hell and the voiceovers sound very stilted and robotic. Sorry, AEW, I love your work on TV, but leave the bad video games to WWE. You're too cool to go down that road.

Because they don't have actual entrances (full) I'm not getting this game. That's the deal breaker for me. And now that I've waited so long, I've gotten to see that the stages and roster just stays outdated no matter how much time passes. They just released Toni Storm in 2024, after she's been Timeless Toni Storm for a year now. Smh. This game could be a great wrestling game. AEW is better, but WWE has the better game. Universe Mode is the thing we all want. So, hoping the next AEW game doesn't take 12 years and they have Galaxy Mode and full entrances, now that they have a base outline for the game
I'm very sad there aren't full entrances in this game. I get they were trying to do more of a throwback to old games were entrances were short, but it would have added a lot to the game itself. Entrances are such a big part of Pro Wrestling.
Christian Cage's theme not being in the game sucks too...one of the greatest.
This game seems to be a flop in many areas. Entrances, no commentary in the matches, a very small roster, a small amount of voice acting in general. Graphics aren't that bad, but I am not buying this game, until they seriously improve it.

The game was literally supposed to look like an arcady old game. The entrances being ''Ugly'' (which they aren't) was a design choice to emulate the style of older wrestling games from the 90s.

Honesty bro, it may be even shorter than tna impact and wwe all stars. Those games were borderline acceptable because how much personality was in it. These are even shorter. I somewhat like sting and Christian cages entrances but in tna impact they were better. Which is wild because at the time those entrances were considered short.

Barebones roster, barebones match types, garbage story mode, 10 second entrances, literally everything outside the action happening inside the ring bell to bell sucks about this game. Piss poor effort for a AEW game. Love AEW to death but if there’s one thing WWE is doing better than AEW it’s the games. Very disappointed in this game.

This games strongest effort is basically copying and pasting no mercy from n64 and they barely nailed that at 100%. I can’t even find a steel catch match in this game, which no mercy had as a match type back in the 90s. I love wrestling and AEW is my favorite company right now, but their game absolutely sucks. At the end of the day as scummy, crappy and unpopular WWE 2K has become, their games are objectively better. Wish I was able to say different with this game, but I’d be lying. Outside of better gameplay, WWE 2k beats AEW in literally every other way. All I can do is hope future updates add content to the barebones product of a wrestling game. AEW overall is a better product but WWE is STILL owning them in the gaming market, something very clear after dropping this game.

At first I thought there was no entrance music because I guess UA-camr's where turning it off so they wouldn't get copyright striked by UA-cam when looking up gameplay videos to see what the game was like. That was the only thing that disappointed me.

there's one thing in trying to relive the N64 days gameplay wise, but the entrance is not one of them, back then it was data space issue due to being in a cartridge, that's no longer an issue now
