Great video Kevin ! Without bees, our world would and could not survive ! I pray people understand they are needed to pollinate the plants. You are such an industrious person, Kevin ! Such a good example for people to follow. Thank you for sharing and showing the importance how to help maintain nature in preservation !!!! God Bless....😊🐝😊
Always love your videos.
Wow! So interesting! Thank you❤
Listening to all those bees is giving me the hebby geebys lol
The ones on the microphone weren't too happy they really logged a complaint 😂,my Dad had 10 hives and we were always getting call outs to remove swarms ,he would use a smoker to calm things down then box them up ,used to terrify me as im so allergic to stings ,but facinated me how calm he always was with them and gentle ,always have a great respect for them hopefully you got the queen and they stay put now 🙏🏻🐝
I’m not allergic but I have a couple of epi pens in my fridge just in case because I have family that is. Bees are so cool.
@christinespry I have an allergy to bee stings too. I always give them a wide berth.
I really like them though, and wouldn`t hurt one for the world.. Watching Kevin handle them was like a horror movie
to me !!
As the video seems to be 8 months ago, wonder did bees stay in their new home?
I bet the queen is in there. They are behaving like she is in the hive. Bees 🐝 are amazing!
Looks like a good transition. Seems like there's a queen as a majority of the bees are entering the new hive. Way to go Kevin.👍🏻😁
I really enjoy all your videos and learn new stuff every time I watch. You are very knowledgeable on everything you talk about
I called a beekeeper once he took them all away. couldn't stop saying thank you. 🐝🐝🍯 that fall I had a cute jar of honey on the log he took them away on 😊
What a cute story
Bees give me the heebeejeebies, but their honey is delicious, so I'm glad there are folks like you who know how to care for them! Thanks, Kevin.👍
This is amazing I’ve never seen anything like this! It’s so cool - I would’ve never know what to do if I came across a swarm of bees like that- it is truly amazing how you can just transfer them like that! Wow 🤩 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 When the bees first started coming toward the camera they were buzzing so loud - they’re saying “hey dude what are you doing?!?” 😆🐝
Just put beekeeping in the search bar of UA-cam and you will come up with some amazing beekeepers. I came across a woman the other day that doesn’t charge anything she just goes out and helps people with the bees and then she keeps them and she’s a tiny bit of a thing she can pinpoint that queen so quickly it amazed me. I wish I could remember her name to tell you but there are some really amazing videos out there.
just saw a vid on YT the other day of a beekeeper doing it, very cool.
@@mommashawna707Is that the Texas Beeworks channel?
@@anng.4542 no that doesn’t sound familiar, I’m sorry. I’m sure if you just put beekeeping in the search bar a ton will come up though.
🐝 Great way of saving the bees. The way the bees are fanning at the entrance of the hive is to let the rest of the bees know that the Queen is in the hive. ❤🐝
You taught so many people who to get ahold of if they run across a hive of bees and hopefully kept them from spraying them to get them off their property. Thanks Kevin awesome video
You sure know a lot of stuff. Thanks for sharing.
This morning, Jason of CogHill , posted a a swarm. That's a lot of bees. Gracious! I remember my mother in law talking about the spring and bees swarming.
That is soooo cool!! There was one Bee letting the camera know what it thought.
I wish that we could keep bees.
Blessings of Abundance and Honey 🍯 ❤
😂 😡 🐝
Wow, Kevin, that's great you knew how to move the bees 🐝! I was worried your legs would get stung since you weren't wearing protective bee pants. I hope you also got the queen bee 🐝! 🙏💖
We heard how angry the bees were. Hope you got the queen. Stay safe, animals safe. Blessings to HHF 🙏
Good job Kevin I believe you got the Queen! They look like they are going into the hive.
I loved this video. I really like Bees and i planted flowers in my garden for them, as well as around my yard. Last year they would buzz all around when I was working among my vegetables. And I had an amazing garden because of it. I dont spray my lawn for weeds either, I'm sure my neighbors that do don't appreciate all of my dandelions, wild violets and clover but the bees do.❤❤
That was absolutely fascinating! But from the sounds of some of them bees, they were not happy with you for a while. I hope they take to their new home.
So cool to see you collecting the bees, sure hope you got the Queen in that swarm. We sure can hear them!!
Thanks for sharing. Very interesting on the bee colony ✝️🙏🏼🛐😇
Oh my goodness Kevin, you are such an inspiration with the care of bees.
Awesome save. We need the bees. Thank you. I know l couldn't do what you just did. 👍😁😊🇨🇦🙏😁🐝🐝🐝🐝
This was totally awesome Kevin, I hope that you was able to get the "QUEEN" bee in the hive, can not wait to see the next video , to see how the bee's are doing.♥♥♥.
Jason at Cog Hill farm had a swarm in a tree higher up than yours. He also has hives but someone else takes care of them. Don't know how it turned out for him yet. Good luck to you and God bless. ❤
I think Jason's swarm was something like 15 feets up in an tree ... , Thank Kevin for sharing
The bee keeper is a friend and needed a place for her extra hives. Smiths needed bees for their plants. Problem solved, the smith's get some of the honey as payment for field space.
Thank you for sharing that. A couple of yrs ago I moved out in the country. About a month after I moved out there someone sadly destroyed someone else bee hives or collection, there was over 50, some of the bees came to our house. I'd say same amount that you got outta the tree. It must be the season for them to swarm because, Jason & Brooke ( Cog Hill) had a video about some honey bees that swarmed. They're in Alabama. Love y'all, your always in my prayers God Bless
We were about a mile away
Hello from Northeast Georgia! Fantastic video! My first house was a split level and, though we didn’t realize the ramifications, had a well-established bee swarm between the two floors. They entered and exited next to our front door, but never bothered us. After our first child was born, we decided we might ought to get rid of our “nest.” After finding out no beekeeper would/could retrieve the bees in a house, we called an exterminator who didn’t know what he was getting into, either. He quoted me a price for getting rid of them. After many attempts, he drilled holes into the ceiling downstairs and sprayed. The hive reached 2/3 the width of the house. I had honey dripping from the ceiling and puddling in the light fixtures! A couple of years after we eliminated them, we had a swarm land in the top of a large oak tree in the yard. We squirted them with water and shot BB guns in the tree until they left. We only kept the house a few years, but I’ve often wondered if bees ever tried to get back in there.
Kevin your more braver than anyone I know & they sound like they are mad hope they stay together for ya 🐝
This is so cool ! I love bees.
I truly enjoyed watching you move the moving of your beehive.
Getting that bee swarm was very interesting Kevin. You can sure here the bees buzzing. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Your so brave I'm absolutely petrified of bees or wasps, just one has me running, never mind that lot.
That was an awesome video... I hope the hive thrives 😂❤
Kevin your like my Uncle he loved his bee's there's a moth that will go through the bees take care be careful with those bees God Bless you
Kevin, my grandparents were bee keepers when I was growing up many years ago. My grandmother had a saying:
a swarm in April is worth a spoonful
A swarm in May is worth a bale of hay
A swarm in June will fill a spoon
But a swarm in July , kiss them goodby.
The meaning behind each line was how much honey that swarm would produce that year and it's value. The July swarms generally wouldn't produce enough to get through the winter or be of value. Of course we lived in an area that saw winters that could get below zero. I hope you were able to get the Queen into the hive.
Well done Kevin. Must admit I would t do that but understand why bees are so needed for our eco system 💕🙏🐝
Kevin enjoyed watching your video on the bees never have I seen that done before great.
Very interesting bee rescue of the swarm. Hope they stay. 💖
Very interesting Kevin! You better be sure Rachel checks you before going in the house that there aren't any stuck on you!
Thank you for this interesting video, Kevin 🍯 Please keep us posted. Btw..... don't forget to give your smart dog a reward for being so alert on the Ranger ride!! 🐝 safe & well & best wishes at the Expo ❣️ 🐾
I've actually missed your bee keeping videos, they're really interesting and good. I know Ransom always enjoys honey, I remember when y'all gave him some and processing your honey. God bless y'all.
Hi Kevin, can really hear those bees buzzing! Haven't seen anyone grab bees like you're doing. Guess you know what you're doing!
Kevin, you are a saint to do this. I don’t know how you beekeepers can do this, but this is heroic. I hope you didn’t get stung…at least a lot. Good luck in maintaining this hive.🥰🙏🏻
Very interesting. Bees are amazing creatures. I live in the desert and faithfully take them out of the pool whenever I find them. Please keep us posted on the progress with this new hive.
Great interesting video on the bees. Never seen anything like this.Very educational, and awesome to watch.Good job Kevin!!!😊
Thank you for showing us the moving of the bees. I've never seen it before.♥️🇺🇲
Kevin, those are some very angry bees. I can't believe how loud they are. I have constant ringing in my ears. With the buzz of those bees, I can barely hear the ringing in my ears. That was amazing to watch. You are very brave. 🐝💕
I have never watched someone work with bees. I found this video very interesting! I look forward to more videos of you working with them and harvesting honey. Thanks for all your information on animals.
I remember my dad doing this when I was young but I don't remember much. So thank you you so much Kevin for sharing this with everyone to see how amazing mother nature is .❤
Awesome Kevin! I hope you can capture this hive. Much love to you and your family! God Bless! 🙏❤️✝️💖🤗🥰💗🇺🇸
Hopefully there was a queen, and she went in the hive box. Would be cool if you had 4 healthy hives. Love watching bee rescues and swarm captures. Bees are so important to our planet!
That was very cool! The close-up view was great! Haven't ever seen anything like that - the way they just went right in to the hive. What are the chances the queen will stay in the hive? What causes her to stay or go?
Yikes! Great job Kevin. This is the first I've seen on moving bees into a hive, saving the bees to produce honey. God's ways of providing for His kids are great and many. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for helping the bees Kevin. Yiu are such a good human.
Kevin, thanks for showing us your swarm capture. Saw Brooke on cod farm how they separated Sam bees but yours was much more exciting because we saw a lot swarm. Love you and family. Stay blessed.❤
I had the privilege of working with an older gentleman when I was in high school, who had 5 hives of bees. Way too many years ago. Very awesome experience!!! Great video. Looks like you captured the queen!
You are so gentle and caring with all the animals (including these bees) you care for.
Wow you are very brave. I don’t care how many bee suits I had on I would be going the other way. 😂 I do love honey tho.
Holy moly those are some angry bees🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. I hope you get the Queen. Kevin, you are very brave. Thanks for saving as many bees🐝 as possible 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
Well done, Kevin! Saving the bees is a noble job. Hopefully the gear kept them from stinging you too much. They certainly sounded angry. Best wishes from northern Illinois.
Wow Kevin!! That is Amazing!! I Hope the Queen is in there!! Thanks for the experience!! We definitely need our Bee's!! 👏👍
I think that’s great that you can save that hive. Bees are so important to the environment can’t wait to see if you got the queen. Take care 🙏❤️👍☀️🐝🐝🐝
Nice video! Thanks. I'm not a bee person, allergic, but I love to see what can be done with them and how to keep them safe. 🥰
That was awesome. Didn't know you could relocate a hive so easily. Sure hope you got the queen. The buzzing alone would keep me away. Glad the goats got the pear branches and will enjoy the leaves. Good luck with the new hive. Thanks for sharing. 🥰🙏❤️
Oh my gosh, this is giving me hives just watching! Keep safe! You are mighty brave imo, I wouldn't be anywhere near there. Totally allergic to the bees bite, i get bit its to the hospital i go. Have a blessed day!😃
Sweetie, they don't bite, they sting & in so doing they lose their life as their innards are attached to the sting (barb). To remove the sting don't pull it off take a knife(or even a credit card, something stiff) & scrape it off. That way you're not getting more "poison" into your system & will get better sooner. If allergic you'll need an epipen or medical assistance.
‘Giving you hives’ 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂😂
@@lorainewhite727 in the south it often referred to as a bite.
Educational, informative. Thank you, Kevin. Stay safe. 👍👍❤️🇺🇸✝️
Wow, those bees were so upset. You did a great job, you're a patient man. Mo is Soo cute. When is your wife going start cooking again, I miss seeing the kids out there with you and your wife. It's Soo nice to see the whole family together. I know she's busy planning the conference. Your homestead looks Soo beautiful.
Great job Kevin, I was wondering how your bees did over the winter.
Great job Kevin 👏🙏👍🐝
I couldn't do that, one honeybee sting as a child hospitalized me for 5 days. I'm not afraid, but try to keep a healthy distance from ALL insects with stingers!😮 And carry my Epipen of course 😉
Kudos to you and all bee wranglers for keeping the pollinators alive, happy and healthy. 👍🙏everything works out well for the hive.
Dag'on Kevin that was probably the coolest video I've seen all week. You definitely have nerves of steal and I itched the entire time I watched it lmbo.
God Bless y'all an I hope y'all yield lots an lots of honey .💯❤🐷🇺🇸🐝
Those bees did sound a little angry 😠! Until some of them realized the box was a new home😊! I hope the queen is in there and they stay😁! Great job 👏🏻, I’ve never seen the move of a bee 🐝 swarm, very brave Kevin! Thank you for sharing, take care 🤗💕!
You are one brave soul! Watching made me nervous but was so interesting. I couldn't stop watching. I am really looking forward to more of your bee videos.
It’s wonderful that you save the bees. If that was me I’d run the other way. Just watching you gives me goosebumps.😁
You are doing a great job Kevin
Jason at cog Hill has a bee problem as well
I hope your bee move works well, I just love honey bees. You mentioned people spraying bees with poison and that's just horrible. Honey bees are generally very friendly creatures and of course great for making honey. I saved a nest of bees once years ago when I was working for the power company in Bellevue, Wa. They had swarmed into some bushes near our office building and someone was going to call out an exterminator which I stopped immediately I called al local bee keeper who immediately came out, found the queen and moved all the bees to a hive he brought with him. He saved all the bees and I was applauded in the company newspaper as the bee savior! Thank you for saving the bees, watching the bees walk into the hive leads me to believe the queen was in there. I hope you do a follow up video showing if the hive took and the queen was discovered. Great video, thank you, God bless. 😊🐝🐝
I am glad to see you doing this bee video. It shows another aspect of homesteading that many never think of. Bees are needed to make a garden or crop successful.
So Happy Your Claiming and rehousing the bees!
We just started two hives … sooo I enjoy getting the information about bees 🐝
Thanks for sharing this one. So awesome to see the bees doing what they do. Great work on getting them safely into a home. Looks like you did get the queen as they wouldn't have stayed in.
Wow what an awesome video Kevin I really enjoyed it my youngest son who is now 28 years old always wanted to have a few bee 🐝 collections and we never got to get it started but I just sent him this video and he said he wanted to look into it again. Thank you for sharing this. 🐝🐝🐝
Jason @Cog hill had a swarm on his property this week also.
Fascinating video. I so respect our Bee Keepers. Ya'll do very very important job. Thank you ❤🙏
At 20:53 you can see the one bee 🐝 on the stand with her booty in the air signaling to the others to come on in. I think you got the queen 👑 🐝 in there. What an amazing blessing!
That's sweet Kevin. Bee's fly to your place. Free bee's. Can't beat that. You sure know your bee 's. 😊 ❤️
Your brave. I would freak out!
This is a great video! I have never seen a swarm of bees like that. Very interesting!
I sure hope they stay!
That was amazing. I always wondered how people got the bees into those boxes now I know lol what a great video please keep us posted.
You're a really brave man Kevin snd my hero. Some of those bees were sure angry! I'm hoping they will stay snd give you another hive to harvest some tasty honey from.
I really enjoyed this video!!! Thanks for sharing it!!! ❤
Those bees got pretty mad! If you get the Queen in the box, won’t the rest of the bees follow? Seems I heard my Dad say that once.
Thank you Kevin. You just answered my question about the queen
Hello Kevin, good evening. You are a brave man!
I enjoyed the video, I've not seen this done before. Keep our fingers crossed they will stay in there & you have their queen! Good luck! See you next time! 🪻🌻🌹❤️🤗👋😊🙏God Bless
Wow kevin that was really awesome to watch ❤ hopefully there was a queen 👑 in there and they stay ....yummy honey 🍯 thank you for sharing with us ❤️😊
Wow, you're a brave man. I would've just let the bees have ownership of the tree. LOL I'm glad you were able to give them a home though. Bees really are a necessity in this world. The world wouldn't be as beautiful without them, let alone the honey. 🍯😎👍
What an amazing video-just hearing all that buzzing. Thank you for the share-here is hoping they stay and give you more honey
We are so lucky here to have a local beekeeper and his bees produce the best honey. I never let it run out.I hope he is training someone to take over the business when he retires, if he retires. ❤
Wow! You actually have a bunch of knowledge about many different things! You are much braver than I’d be. I can’t get past all of the buzzing. I hope it works! 🥰🥰🥰
Bee Keepers deserve a special place in heaven.❤️
Well that's one way to prune a tree!! Goodwork Kevin.
Wow... This was fascinating to watch! YES, we can definitely hear them📢📣🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
Wow Keven I didn't know that you were so experienced in bee keeping and your very brave to do that with the bees
I've seen when the queen gets into a hive like that. The bees will actually "march" into the box. It is so cool to see.
Spray them with sugar water, hold the box up under them and brush them into the box. The queen is in the box. They will all be in there come morning, and then move to permanent location.
You are one Brave determined man.
Very interesting I like watching bee videos. It was great you saw the swarm and hopefully, you got the queen into the box.
How interesting- this would frighten me! You did a great job of moving those bees! I hope the queen bee transferred into the bee house. Enjoyed the video!!
