Just found this video in 2020 -- Just got onto how good Bronwyn is a couple of days ago, and now I'm going omg that's Molly Tuttle, like 7 years ago. So much good stuff in bluegrass world these days, wow wow
I'm 69 years old and grew up on the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, The Band and classic rock from the mid sixties to late seventies. It was a special time when artists were innovating, collaboration and blurring the line by bringing in influences from virtually every other genre. Today's bluegrass is very much like that. They're pushing the boundaries. When I hear other Baby Boomers saying, today's music sucks, I tell them to widen their net and check out contemporary bluegrass.
It's always a treat to find treasures like this revealing the history of currently admired artists like Molly and Bronwyn. Leaves me wondering where these other talented artists are now. ☮️💟🇨🇦
Somebody once told me that some of the best players out there are ones you’re never gonna hear because they have little interest in performing as a career- whether it’s the challenges and often ordeals of touring (personally, i can’t get enough 😁) or just shy in front of a crowd of people. I’m delighted to learn that Bronwyn and Molly have that much history together- can’t say I m surprised- these “youngsters” are bound to find each other in music camps or festivals- I saw that first hand living very close to the Grey Fox Bluegrass festival in NY - one generation passing it down to the next. Nice to know Molly’s Golden Highway isn’t just a bunch of “hired guns”😉!
I've been listening and playing this music for over 50 years!! Love you all. Bluegrass is in great shape with young and fresh ideas and musicianship like this. Thanks so much! Love you all.
Hello!!! Can you say a powerhouse group of women musicians!!! - Maybe call a battle of the bands between Bronwyn, BB, and Molly, vs. Sarah J, Aoiffe, and Sarah W!!
She’s singing now!! Check out her Monday Night sets at Dee’s Lounge as she gets ‘dialed in’ to tour in support of her new solo album!😻 (Subscribe here or find Dee’s on UA-cam)
One good band. Nine years later, she is now a member of Molly’s band.

right you are!
Yeah!
And she is now touring in Molly's new band.Golden Highway.
The inexperienced ear would hear it that way, but the reality is that the music used to be much better.

Bass and Banjo are in Mile Twelve who Bronwyn used to play with, an excellent band, check out their cover of Rocket Man.

Slarge!
Bron is the best fiddle player since Johnny Gimble and Mark O'Connor.
I don't know those people. So to me she is the best.
Sounds like a bunch of good players to me.
The Bass player was solid, the Banjo was player good, but I thought the Fiddle, Mandolin and Guitar players stole the show.
the guitar player is MOLLY TUTTLE!!!!
Super... but no voice
