Good evening, I face the following problem and i would like to have your help,if possible: After the creation of the DAC curve,i adjust the gain by increasing it.As long as this increase happens, partially, the DAC curve dissapears from the screen. Is there a way where the curve is fully seen independently of the gain adjustment ?? Have in mind that i use an USM GO+ equipment. Thank you in advance.
Apologies for late reply. This would be typical as some of DAC will go off screen as you are asking it to do so when increasing the gain. General rule is increase gain by 6dB then you double the indication trace
Is the Navship block approved by ASME section V? I've seen every different type of procedure from ASNT Level III's and I want to purchase my own block, but they all say different things. This seems to be the easiest way to set up a DAC curve on any machine. Just wondering if the NAVSHIP block would be approved for ASME piping under 24"
I'm a level 3 and would love to know why someone hit thumbs down... This was a great video training.
Awesome video Mike!
Thanks you a thousand times.

Great lesson...
Estimados
Alguien sabe que block está utilizando?
Can DAC iron be used to test the aluminum by changing its appropriate frequency
not sure what you are asking, but yes you can test aluminum ....just have to have a calibration block in aluminum with same velocity.
