RIP to the V8. I hate how manufacturers are forced to downsize their engines and barely see any improvement in MPG, whilst losing the smoothness of a V8.
I suspect this v-6 is based on the v-6 in the q50, which is an incredibly smooth engine. This engine adds quite a bit more horsepower, and a LOT more torque with better fuel economy. Probably won’t sound nearly as good though, lol.
All Toyotas seem lacking. Those screens from cheap Toyotas shouldn’t be in Lexus. Lexus needs to be on par with BMW and MB. The LS600 has two tacky screens stacked. Horrible. The QX80 is based off the Nissan Patrol so its reliability is up there with the Toyota Landcruiser. With any new car that’s been completely redesigned, only time will tell. But it looks pretty good on paper. Hopefully this is a good start to a comeback for Infiniti.
Generally vehicles assembled in Japan tend to have significantly better build quality and reliability and they take that up a notch for high zoot vehicles like the Toyota Century, Lexus LX and Infiniti QX.

They were right to keep the same basic shape. Many people loved the design of the current QX80. They took the old design and brought it to 2024. Jeep does the same with Wranglers. Land Rover does it with Range Rovers. We're glad they didn't completely do away with the design.

(Free) piece of advice: DON'T BUY THE WAGONEER if you don't want it to spend more time on the service floor than in your garage. Check how many recalls it has and how poor it's reputation has been for initial build quality and overall reliability. Your better of with the Yukon or a nicely used LX if you don't need something gargantuan.
Lexus guy here, sorry but the LX is such a disappointment from the get go. Even the sister LC300 is imo a downgrade from the previous gen, especially the LX. Infiniti just crushed Lexus in the game.
Infiniti's sales have been in the toilet for over a decade. There isn't anything new or unique enough to sway a Toyota, Lexus, Lincoln or Cadillac customer. It's actually quite garish which has been the norm for Nissan/ Renault for years. A big, over wrought 👎👎👎
If you plan on towing you must get the air suspension. Not a fan of the lexus like HUGE grill. oems need to get away from that. I don't get why oems keep raising MSRP's. 80K dollar SUV's will sit on the lot. Luxury brands are becoming a harder sell by the day. Oems need to focus more on rugged SUV's with more affordable prices. At this price your chasing a ever shrinking pool of customers willing to spend that money on a huge depreciating asset. Essentially it won't take long before dealers will resort to heavy discounts just to move them. Just look at the Jeep wagoneer. Its was literally DOA.
They could make it more luxurious it doesn’t matter. People know Nissan/ Infiniti are horrible for reliability. They aren’t going to sell well and they will be easy to negotiate for a cheap price same as always

Just gonna wait until J250 Land Cruiser (Prado) are selling at MSRP. The smaller size will be more manageable offroad anyway. If i needed a 3 row full size SUV right now Id probably go Yukon Denali with the 6.2 V8 unless I could get a really great deal on a Grand Wagoneer then add an aftermarket wood grain kit.
The speakers in the headrest is just asking to collect dandruff
Dont know why people are willing to pay 110k for an suv. Before covid same suvs were just around 80k. Stop paying so much. Please.
Nah, that LX is cooked. Objectively it's smaller and doesn't really have the lux feel like this new QX80 has and the old 570 had.
infinite looks best out of all in luxury side
Manuela vazquez appears in the video haha
Yeah looks different but still the same nissan armada chassis
Lexus guy here, sorry but the LX is such a disappointment from the get go. Even the sister LC300 is imo a downgrade from the previous gen, especially the LX. Infiniti just crushed Lexus in the game.
Other s
SUVS looks like a joke compare to Qx80 no cadi no gmc no lexus.
🔥🔥🔥
Infiniti's sales have been in the toilet for over a decade. There isn't anything new or unique enough to sway a Toyota, Lexus, Lincoln or Cadillac customer. It's actually quite garish which has been the norm for Nissan/ Renault for years. A big, over wrought 👎👎👎
صالون الكزس وصالون انفينتي متفوقين بمراحل عن الأمريكي بسنين فلكية الأمريكي عيبه ان تفكيرهم داخل الصندوق 😂😂😂😂😂
I have thicker bigger tires on my bicycle.
Why are they going to v6s, why not make smaller v8s, 3.8-5.0L.
They could make it more luxurious it doesn’t matter. People know Nissan/ Infiniti are horrible for reliability. They aren’t going to sell well and they will be easy to negotiate for a cheap price same as always
Infiniti is the best in this class
Beautiful
all those electronics..... so expensive to get, diag, repair, & replace
Don’t spill your hot coffee
I wish the qx80 was $90k
Lexus looks old and dull compared to QX80. Lexus styill looks old compared to the Denali. Lexus had better quickly update this dinasaur.
They won’t. It’s too late
Lexus as a brand is officially done
Infinit is on steroids I no the car .wow.what u are looking at is Nissan patrol brother
The competition is supposed to be to get more customers than your competitors why are u pricing it the same or more in some cases, especially when u got less space and no v8.
Infiniti qx 80 is the best
I’ll buy 5
Realy I like it
Time will tell, my Q50 dashboard started cracking at 5 years old.
Did you keep it clean it?
Boy put some ceramic tint on the windshield lol.
Yes, my Q50 sedan is garage kept, sun windshield protector, and 303 UV protectant. Same way I had with my 90 Maxima, 93 Maxima, 94 Sentra which are not cracked. Dashboard are almost brand new on those cars.
Not sure what material they used for the Q50 but the dash on my 2016 QX80 still looks brand new
Infiniti finally made a proper vehicle since the g35 era
